I understand what you mean, but don't worry! There are plenty linkshells offering what you seek, you're bound to find a great community of players when you get on. Especially on Balmung. All you need to do, is join...enter the nearest main city and look for some role players! If they're warm-hearted and welcoming you should be able to jump right into the world of Eorzea.

You may call me Ven... or Headmaster if by chance you wish to decide to join my Academy. It's currently full of great people, friends...family that I've already grown attached to. I like to believe that, it's the friends and the people you accompany yourself with, that makes this world desirable. Without friends, you're just alone...and being alone well, that's no fun! Now, I played 1.0 a while back, and of course made a lot of great friends then too. A few of them I remember to this day. Especially the linkshell Blue Skies. Endemerrin was one of my highlights in role play...he hosted great events, and it was his leadership that inspired me to begin my own guild. So I ventured onto a game most of you have played or probably heard of. Tera! I was on Celestial hills for quite a long time...and well, Due to the inspiration that Endemerrin gave me, I began my own guild. It wasn't too long after that, when I met the love of my life! Yeah, she's the cute little red head there! Well, I could go on for hours talking about how we met each other in r/l situations, moved in together, and are now living happily in our own home in Virginia, but that's ages ago! She's not red headed but, she's a beautiful girl none the less, and she's an artist! Ah- but I'm getting off track... So... It started out small, but as it grew I met people that I still know and I'm friends with to this very day. We named the guild, Allemantheia Garden. Garden being the mercenary academy, and home for people in final fantasy 8! It was very successful. We hosted many events, two of which were... The Garden Festival that half the server even came to and rp'd at and An auction we called the 'LUVLUVAuction, to represent the GF potion that you give to your summons to make them more compatible with you? Well we auctioned players, to be compatible with each other! Which it then inspired them to rp with their date in a nice scenario of being bought by them. It was a very hilarious event, and even the GM's came and decided to watch, such a great community. Without them, their support and our wonderful connection we wouldn't have gotten anywhere. So I thank you guys, for giving me such a great life experience. But, ALL good things, must come to an eventual end. Though, I couldn't allow this... Sure, everyone eventually stopped playing and we all still stayed in touch, but it just wasn't the same... We all did so much together and without them, without Endemerrin and my friends.... I'd never have met Liali; the girl I'm now living happily with, and damn love is good... So I got them all together again. After I heard of Final Fantasy being rebooted, I jumped RIGHT on that, and let them know "This is where we'll be reborn, just like the game entails..." They were very excited...and now? Well we couldn't be happier. Thank you, Yoshida. and Thank you to the Balmung Community of A realm reborn. tl;dr Really? Skipping that? Awe, well...some of us just wanna get on with the game, I understand! So...It's nice to meet you! I played a lot of final fantasy, now I'm back. With lots of friends, LOTS of friends. Mabinogi 1.0 FF Tera Dragon Nest Vindictus WoW Aion .....so...yeah --RP experience 9 years and ticking, Began roleplay through lots of online forums, merged over to social websites, then games! I love to be detailed and get into tons of stories. My character Ventus has followed me through the whole journey. --How did you learn about the coalition? This whole think just kinda irks me... Why would square enix auto assing people who aren't paying? It's like if one of us got seriously ill for a month and had no way of paying, they'd be lost forever in the void of the servers! It's insanity =.=; I just hope things go well...

Just wanted to post here about how much this shell rocks. Ever since I joined "Out of Character" I've made a ton of friends both IC and OOC, and because of this we were able to forge new stories, and connect to each other much easier! I love getting up every morning to wish you all a good day and fun rping. I love the random chatter, whether it be a normal conversation or a raging argument, We all express ourselves and I love that about OOC. I will stay with this pearl for as long as Final Fantasy XIV lives and I live. I encourage EVERYONE, just like Miyu said... To join this linkshell. Connect all of our stories together and make a big legacy that will forever be remembered.

Oh! no no no, none of the sort. It';s just a timeline of what I've been doing up until ff14 with that name and character, by traveling from universes i mean just changing him to fit the other lore. But it would be nice to see it that way, like traveling to a different world in kingdom hearts and suddenly changing to the attributes of the world. lol but that isn't the case. Edit: But yes to put it simply, he is based on all the old versions. A character that has depth and grows through experience is what gives the character it's personality after all.

I apologize for missing this, unfortunately Ven was in Imperial captivation, however he is now free of custody and can attend things now...lol. He could seriously use a little meditation, after getting...crushed by a Buffalo three times...captured by imperials, thrown in a dark damp cell and beaten within an inch of his life. Yeah, I need to do some meditation... hahaha

I figured i'd show a little of my role-play prowess before I joined you all in final fantasy 14 In the very beginning (about 6 years ago) I joined a social site named BEBO. The website was generally used like a facebook, and myspace competitor...but lots of rpers were strangely attracted to the customization of the profiles, and decided to start posting characters on them. So a few friends and myself decided to do the same, my very first character [Original] was known as Vendastelca No Zeruel, A demon-hybrid child...born human, with a soul of a demon planted within him. I rped a few anime characters before him and decided, it's time I make my own. After a few years I was capable of drawing him myself, and here's what I produced. He changed very frequently as well, so here is the MANY faces of Ven...this one in particular is my favorite... Vendastelca was then born on bebo... He was the leader of an organization known as T.R.G or also nicknamed Cerberus. The guardian of the gates of hell. The group T.R.G was known for assisting many other major groups as sort of mercenaries or guardians. (The face of Ven during his last demon-saga on bebo) After a big collapse of one major enemy group called, Snake Chamber (by the hands of T.R.G) ...the group soon after disbanded and split up on their journeys completely solo. Ven then decided to travel to other universes, as different characters. Finding Gaia online, he eventually changed his style yet again... The other face, Ven on Gaia Online. Ven before joining shortened his named to Ventus Zeruel. I'm sure you've heard of that site...rather large role-play community there! I even had a few commissions done of Ven as well...this one, done by my good friend Silverfire After that rather quick saga of Ven's, he was then COMPLETELY revised, when he found the world of Mabinogi. A very fun Korean rpg mmo. Inspired by the art of the game, I then made my own revision in his looks anime wise. Here are a few more pictures... It was on mabinogi that Ventus found his first romance. She played a character named Rai, ironically...and not the same Rai you all know on final fantasy 14 now. (Completely different person playing the new Rai entirely.) Here are a few videos...dedicating to the characters there. and yes, I made these, as well as drew all the pictures you have seen. So I eventually found Final Fantasy, which I heard made a huge turn around in Updates, and decided to give it a try. Completely revising him (yet again) and making a new story... The Ven you know was born...
