Next event of the Realmsward will be a meeting which will start off the first arc we will be doing pre stormsblood!, It will be held at 7pm EST on Tuesday 21st, and will be held at the observatorium!

A well written poster would appear around the city states... within bars and taverns, adventurers guilds alike.. a symbol of a crystal entwined by the banners of the alliance with blades crossing inbetween. Out of this poster one phrase would stand out against the rest. The realm needs YOU to help our troops against the empire! I, Von Sayrillont of the Ashen Dawn, call upon all companies.. adventurers, medics, crafters... any who are willing to do your part in helping those less fortunate in Gyr Albania, and those over the seas in the east... The fight against the garleans is not just fought by steel and magic, but with the morale and supplies of those behind it as well! The stock of arms , materials, food and nourishment, they dwindle with each coming day and this is where I wish for the NEW Realmsward movement to come into effect. The realm needs more champions, more able fighters.. and so I propose for this new Realmsward movement to provide them with the means to do so!, with additonal troop support at the ready, steady supplies of materials and rationed refreshments to assist those on the field with keeping well fed , hydrated and armed. As well as this a war effort needs more than supplies, a effort like this needs funding and morale which we too can provide! Through our fundraising ventures and tournaments we will provide for the general public, ALL donations acquired through these efforts will go towards the selected movement! TO ALL WHO ARE INTERESTED! I will be accepting all those in like mind who wish to assist with the effort, whether you wield a blade, spindle, or frying pan, any craft can provide aid in this venture through our charitable ventures and support in the future, we have a lot of plans to help out in the future, so we await your support in these trying times! Once we have gathered sufficient help I will be making a council between companies and people to keep a steady line of information to be made between those present and make sure we are all working in tandom on this.. this council will include a representative from each company and also a person to represent those joining us unaffiliated, they will have a large part in the decision making process for us and myself and two other advisors will be mediating the meetings in total. Underneath would detail the Address of the Ashen Dawn (Ward 6,plot 27 Mists) and also Vons personal linkpearl frequency. OOC INFORMATION I am planning the Realmsward intiative to be a large scale Realm-wide effort to raise awareness and IC funding and support for large movements that go on within Balmung, from current content going into the future. This movement is to help direct the community to large happenings goings on help things be interlinked by supporting and aiding those campaigns in a supplimental fashion, without stepping on any toes by making a new force, and instead aiding existing ones. Okay so im in, whats involved? Firstly it will involve yourself, or your company (or a representitive thereof) to come to one of the events we held, or coming to me at the house, in which we will get you signed onto our roster under your selected craft or role you wish to undertake. From then on you are able to give feedback however you like, and support our events in helping staff the venues and make this possible! This will involve us travelling around the place from ARR zones to other expansion areas, so be prepared to see the sights! Whilst our focus is primarily around fundraising and charitable venues, we do intend to be a form of reinforcement support to who needs it, and we will need combatants to send out if anyone needs any extra numbers for a certain event, or wishes to use us in a wider fashion within an IC storyline! So not -all- our actions will be done for charity. During these fundraising events however, we will be rping out the presentation of donations within the events, all the way to carting them over to the selected cause itself, so we will need people who wish to do charitable rp, and act as our emissiaries and diplomats when we reach out to provide this valuable support to them! As well as the support staff and crafters who will be providing these things to the people. Gil donations will go to the cause also in a OOC manner as well as an IC manner, to help them with any funding on both levels they may need for this effort, so your support -will- make a difference! Cool!, But this council thing, whats that about? The council will be a person from each company, think of a representative.. or certain individuals who wish to take a bigger part in helping this idea grow.. I hope for this to also be open to people who want to control making the supply missions, stealth, medical.. and other categories to help the management and organisation of things better, as I cant do it all myself, and I would love to see what creative ideas the community has to share for this! The Council will be helping and deciding on how we plan forth and make this idea truly come alive for the community as a whole, so it wont just be me who puts forth things, You all can get a say on how our efforts carry on! Summary The Drakensguard is a company that operates as a private military and adventuring force that is bound by no one nations jurisdiction... giving them faster response times and a larger freedom in research, organisation and operation. No matter past allegiance, as long as they promise to fight for the realm, whether garlean defector, Ishgardian, doman, we accept all as long as they accept the rules set by the company and promise to always serve in best interests of the realm no matter the sacrifice. Arcanima class with Cirina! Today in class we focused on keeping aether efficiency and explaining more theory on how to do so with your body behaviour, a continuation on last week at the first, with asking everyone why they wished to learn arcanima, and what they wish to continue on. Afterwards Professor Cirina lead us outside where she planned to use the teachings she had on action, demonstrating how to prepare and use a ruin spell on the target dummies, where the students had to do so afterwards. Whilst there were some that struggled, they were helped by the teacher, and had enough time to practise enough till they got the spell right! After that the students were given homework to practise said spell for next lesson, and try an get a handle of how to cast and prepare with a grimoire!

Physical Education Class with Jordan! - Pressups and stretches! Today in Physical education Jordan first took us on a rather scenic sprint through the lavender beds, getting us all ready for the lesson ahead!, despite people being rather worn out, it was only better exercise for them all. The task at hand was to do twenty pushups each between us..whilst a lot of people had a struggle with it first, with professor jordans, and the partners help and support, we all got it done by the end, feeling worn out, but also better for it by the end! Jordan then questioned everyone about what they would want to improve on, it seems agility and leg strength seems to be on the list for the lessons to come! and certianly so.. as the run back to school was that much longer!

Survival class with Misuzu! Today Miss Misuzu gave us an interesting class on survival, mainly based on how to properly behave if you want to befriend certain beasts, proving your worth to animals so they see you as friend, not foe by certain steps. For this particular lesson the class were told to practise on the baby couerls that were around the place, using crabs legs and a ripped item of clothing so the cub could recognise you as a friend in other times and also befriend you whilst you are there. During the lesson we also got told the theory of how to relate to other classes of animals, and the fact that some will be harder than others.. as a plus note the class had to hunt for the crabs legs from smaller crabs, as a practise on how to hunt for food.

Arcanima class with Cirina! Tonight we had one of our good friends, Cirina Malqir, take over the magic class today, in which we learnt ourselves on the basis of Arcanima , and the theory behind how to use Grimoires. This also included the basics of summoning carbuncles, and how to use different aspects to empower them... also studying on how aether crystals can be used to hold aspected aether and siphon energy from them for spells!

Ishgard Trip: Historical tour of the highlands and the See Today heralded the start of our three day trip to isghard!, Meeting at fallgourd float, we gathered up all our numbers.. as well as a few guests from Shiki's company also to head out into the cold north for the start of our history trip! Soon enough we hit the cold hard weather of ishgard.. which we were all thankful everyone was wearing a thick coat too!, in time we hit the observatorium, in which the group was educated on the origins of the observatorium, the importance of the settlement in the war for ishgard, and the importance of the dragonstar in the war. After we set towards Dragonhead. At dragonhead the group learned about the reasoning behind the dragoon trials, the pits on which heretics used to be punished, and the story that laid behind steel vigil. We then set off to ishgard.. in which the group was taught on the plight of the brume.. and how the city hopes to change and improve the living conditions of the poor and downtrodden. Afterwards they set off towards the standing statue of saint Reinette, where the story behind her, and the link between the patron saint were made clear, and the plight of both saint and university were respect and honored deeply. After the speech the group was told about the skysteel manufactory, and its importance to the ishgard.. as well as being informed about the jeweled crozier, and house durendaire.. they set off to the cathedral, were they were told about Halonic faith, and its importance to ishgard, and its grown culture over the years, as well as the church. After a debate and talk upon faith, they were bought to the outside of the Vault, to convene and talk about the history behind the war, Thordan and the Holy see, and what the vault was used for, including the lie they had been keeping. After convening and talking over the political intrigue of the tribunal, the astrologians guild as well as the importance and military command and tactic strategy that comes from the Congregation , the group ws sent to dismiss and rest.. with happy hearts and hopes for tomorrow!

Combat Lesson: Balance, weight, and how to strike Today in lesson the students were taught about the meaning of balance within a weapon, and how the variations of weight that are used in each can affect the speed, and balance of a strike. After that, a variation of balance and theory on how said things would work in battle, how to deal with the weight, and a small lecture on how to do it, Professor Sayomi lead them to a more clearer place, in a circle she began to move everyone into a clear circle. She went to demonstrate each move of a technique, getting the students to follow closely after. Even if there was some hardships for some students to do this , with help and guidance, they were clear enough on the procedure in the end. Next they moved ont testing the techniques and styles against one another, moving to use what was shown, and also encouraged to be creative with the styles of fighting. Encouraging them to properly adapt and use the skills shown to properly keep on foot and feel comfortable when in live combat. After such, the victors were shown and they were gathered up to tell one thing they learnt of the lesson, before the students left, with more of a enlightened knowledge of weapon management, and how to use the balance to keep them advantaged.

For anymore information See us in the Mists, Ward 6 plot 27! *at the bottom of the poster you see a few map chartings of the house, as well as several spots where rounds are made* -------------------------------OOC INFO------------------------------------------------ We at the New Dawn are a heavy roleplaying Adventuring group with morals that intends to pledge its services to the roleplay community as both an FC as a linkshell, which means you do not need to be in our guild if you want to join in the events we have lined up for you! We are a friendly group of people that also are free to be hired by guilds if they have any requests for the guild to partake in. Requests given by both players and made by ourselves will be posted on the job board we will be creating at a later date, but until that time we will be giving out jobs if players visit myself or any of the higher ranking Dawnrider that have access to the job board, these give a lot of ideas for people who want to start there own things as well as keep the immersion going by having roleplay going out around the events that go out of the casual roleplay also. There will be 2 or 3 events per week so far, which will be in the forms of standard adventuring contracts, to events based on the current events of the game!, Adding to that we will also have events around our every own guild plotline, so we have a lot to offer! Until we have a house, we plan to travel and make use of the in game world outside of the districts to rest down and make base which we will change on a weekly basis, you can also expect the jobs we partake in to be based around that area/nation too, so keep your eyes out! Take in mind also that even if you join, anyone is allowed to make events with us, so if you have a great idea for a grand adventure the guild could partake in, feel free to tell us and well get it known for you!
