Well~ I havn't really done anything lately ;_; Sorry to those of you hoping to get pictures, I do actually have a list with names on it, and the intent on working towards doing them. For now, there's just one I did though: Merri! *u* You irritatingly generous goon! D:<

Might want to share your GPU specs, too? I mean, hell, I'm on a 32-bit OS with only 3 GB RAM, and I don't seem to be having as much an issue as you are. ... though in fairness, I have a Core 2 Quad @ 2.40 Ghz, but I don't think that's too huge a difference, really. (I also sport a GeForce GTS 250 for a GPU; which is amusingly not optimal compared to other GPUs out there either, but I run anywhere between 25-50 FPS at most all times when at a respectable 1440x900.) I "borrowed" my brothers quad core. Going from a Core 2 duo 2.4 Ghz to a Quad 2.4 ghz I've seen a noticable difference in interface speed and FPS. But I am far from experienced with computer stuff~

I realise that I'm speaking as someone we's already on Besaid, but I can't really see the point in making a character on a different server as a member of the RPC. We're really heavily Besaid focused, and even though we've declared an "overflow server", and if I was unable to join Besaid straight away I'd probably wait for Besaid to become available. Just how I feel about it.

Was a CE user, (still am I guess ) And, the first patch was 450~ MB, and took me two hours with the "Torrent method". My internet coneection is not exactly the fastest in the world though~ Pretty sure a very generous member of our forums hosts the patch files for Download though~ â¥

Sure, It's a double post, but it's an update! So~ I had some computer problems yesterday and the day before, which took up way more time than I would have liked. Ultimately missed the "deadline" for the RPC banner contest, but since it's not closed yet, I still have a chance! ⥠So, my banner entry: Thoughts? I like doing the differences between heights and proportions of characters, it's fun and I need the practice of doing varying sizes. Did this one of Ami Faye (Kittywizard) And Remilia too~! *u* Ah~ I could just eat Ami :3 Dissapointed with what available clothes I've seen ingame so far (as I've said a million times all over the place), So I just did whatever I felt like~⥠Edit: I'm no good at this resizing stuff, so you'll just have to do the righty-click + Veiw image thing. I'll say sorry though! ;_;

A lot of the names people have chosen are just rediculous. It completely kills any immersion that I have when I see someone called "Redbum Spanksalot" run past (I hope I made that one up). You can turn the names off with /names, but then you can't see whom you're nearby, and I'm always on the lookout for names I recognise from here. I Think a lot of people are still trying to get their bearings in the game, learning how it all works. It is brand new afterall. So I'd wager that RPing will pick up soonish.

That kinda sucks. o_O Yeah, prettymuch. I was kind've dissapointed that even 3 days into early release and there was a guild with the same shield. Not only that, but they had to ask each otehr to make sure they weren't from the same one. Imagine what it'll be like a couple of months down the line.

What I'd really like is some actual attractive wear. It seems that at present I have 3 choices: Standard BROWN starting attire, A robe, Or some tight leather fetish gear. ;_;

Ah, That sounds really nice! I'm unemplyed at the moment, but that seems like the kind've job I could enjoy. I'm not very good with people IRL, get nervous easily and frankly am terrified of crouds. ;_; So, I'm jealous. -shakes fist-

Nope! I saw two (or three) people talking. Two were from one LS, one was from a different one. But both shields were Identicle. They had to ask if they were members of the same LS.

Ayaya~ -Pats- Wouldn't you have to wait until the 30th anyway? Since you need to enter the goggles code before you make your character? I can sympathise with your pain, I'm waiting on a CPU, trying to cope with 8 FPS is just unplayable. And with the sandstorm last night it was down to 3 ;_;

Agreed. The onion helm is a useless piece of trash IMO. Reduces death cooldown? big deal, it lasts like 3 minutes anyway. Compared to the goggles of skillleveling? "regular" edition players are no doubt going to come in, skull up, and keep going. The extra 8 days seems incredibly pointless now I'm up and running. And looking back, I am filled with nothing but regret.

Only instraments i've seen have ben one of those hand-held harp thingies. And horns. But that's just what I've seen in the cutscenes. I would be surprised if they didn't have guitars or harmonicas. They've got guns and magic afterall.

No huge patches yet either. A small one, and a 450~ MB patch. So not too bad, just make sure you use something other than Squeenix's stupid client to do it.
