Well, finished working on my first colour image. I'm actually feeling pretty proud of myself, if I can get away with saying that. Reworking my character as I go, she came out real different than what I had initially planned; but I like her more. Also character page update, for those that are interested. >_>

was kind've joking, y'know. I remember liking everything before it was "cool", who doesn't!? Oh~ that's what I wanted to say, but much better written than what I could do! Maybe I should just go back to lurking.

Valid point that one. I had no intention or playing out any noticibly cat-like traits. perhaps a hunter-like instinct, but none of the usual stuff asociated with the generic cat-girl. And, rather than "dog" people, couldn't we half "wolf-people". It gives off a better image, and all the females are less likely to be referred to as "bitches" on a regular basis.

That's pretty cruel. Showing off the pistols in the benchmark, then saying "ho ho! but you only get to play with sticks and stones when you buy it!" Those dirty scoundrels!

It makes sense. I'm just worried we'll have a bunch of really generic cat-folk purring and playing with their tails all day. Cat traits are all pretty similar, after all. I can imagine all the chats now: All those extra "r's" and "-nya" suffixes.

Guy gets so much respect and admiration from his fans. And I honestly think he deserves it. Who can't admire a guy who has a pingpong table in his work studio? He made a fine choice of character too! :3

Music: Final Fantasy 6: Forever Rachel (there's a pattern here) Battle Theme: Final fantasy 8's Boss Theme: Final fantasy 7 - Still more Fighting Ability: Edgar's "Tools" Spell: Cure (and its many variants) Class: Pass~ I like variaty so I can't keep my characters as one class for too long. Oh wow~ Tyriont was right, the little guy looks So~ much like altair, and with the bow he looks really badass! The comparisons don't really do justice to the Roeg'! ;_;

I think that's a fairly common desire? I mean, I for one don't want to be another sheep amoungst a flock. But it's an MMO, there'll be hundreds of anything!

Like may others: Miqo'te I've played everything else in other games, and the miqo'te give me a chance to play something not usually available, that I have always wanted to play. Like others have said, you get all the "common" races that show up all the time: Hoomans, half-people, orcs & elfish are in everything under the sun. Catfolk seem to be showing up more and more, but I have yet to have a chance to play one. Oh! And they're cute!

What you're saying actually makes a whole lot of sense! And actually I think that sounds great! at first I thoughi (as I'm sure many others did), that waht all of this stuff was saying meant no progression at all. But if it's as you say, and it's only levels, while skills can still progress then I see no real problem!

argh, i SO want to be playing it! and, isn't it...

I'm pleasantly surprised that most of the people i've spoken to on these forums since i've joined are europeans! Usually when i start a game like this, turns out everyone i meet is pretty far from my timezone, making playing with them regularly awkward. This seems hopeful though!

Happens to me a lot. I like to think it should be veiwed as a good thing however. Since rather than being little more than a puppet to do whatever you please, you've created something that can be veiwed as more "real". People are often, in real life, unpredictable. That doesn't make it any less annoying though.

I think final fantasy's portrayal of men is... not so great! The leads are all so wimpy lookin', it's not good at all. I never played IX, or XII simply because the lead males are so unappealing! I think XIII had some nice guys in it, Snow like you said. I also really liked Sazh though, he actually gave off a good father-ish feeling, and he didn't come across as trying to be manly or heroic (although his role as comic-relief black guy was less than fantastic). I'd like to learn how to use my tablet so that i could colour stuff, unfortunately i can't get used to it, I'd also like to be able to draw manly men! Roegadyn are cool, i like the way they look, but i don't think i could play as one.

Hrm, I never could bring myself to play IX. I was immediately dissapointed, Zidane is an awful character. I'd almost want to say that I hate him. Couldn't bring myself to play it after seeing what he was like, knowing that I'd have to play as that. Eurgh, let's not bring that up again please. Awa wa~ Well, I'm glad to hear that.
