*DIES* (I think Siha is getting back at me for shipping her with Zach) Hmmm. Rae and Pandora. I will not deny that Pandora likely will kill all of Rae's suitors. But then again... who's crazy enough to do that.

All three posts above: WHY. WHY?! And curse you RPC and shipping thread. I am not getting any work done.

... OKAY. YEAH. It was hot. OKAY?! The character is her brother so I try not to think that way. OKAY?? Game of Thrones made it okay, Roen. lol ... *hangs head* And I am Jaime Brienne shipper! To the end! And... No. I am not going to talk about Highlander men. Because... I can. ALL. DAY. LONG. >.> (Damn Oscare and his HOT avatar... arglbargl) ... What.

Kind of!??!?! That was super hot! Hornet was standing right there and that put her in a bit of a state to see him do that. ... OKAY. YEAH. It was hot. OKAY?! The character is her brother so I try not to think that way. OKAY??

Okay one more ship: Delial and Gharen. Because when he grabbed her throat threatening to crush it with his thumb and growled to her face... ... was kind of hot. What.

I agree about more weight and struggles making the character's journey that much more... significant. Their growth and their story that much more compelling. This is set in a fantasy setting after all. The trials the characters face should be more dramatic than what we ourselves are able to deal with in real life. And yet we do step into our characters' lives, because that is what makes each of their interactions real, their relationships more meaningful, and it makes the character's reactions all that much more affecting. I too got into the similar boat (HAHA PUN) as Askier with the kidnapping storyline. Itar and I decided what would happen on the boat offscreen and I agreed to somethings for the story sake. The entire arc, and the tragic irony that was created by a poor plan but with good intentions was made that much more dramatic because both Askier and Roen really did suffer on that boat. But it did leave me with "huh... how the heck do I get my character out of this state of mind..." feeling for days. And she is definitely more subdued right now, as those who I have RPed with since will notice. Now I am really looking forward Roen's growth having survived the ordeal. But definitely, IC stories do occupy my thoughts when I am not in game. But it is in a good way, something that gets my creative juices flowing, and makes me either grin silly or shake my head at random moments thinking about things.

I... nearly choked on my coffee.

So what you're saying is, we have three days to prepare. :geek:  No, what he's saying is that in three days Jin'li and Osric are screwed lol You're screwed. I'm saved. #FifthElementReference #misquoting #howtosummonRoen What...? What am I doing... ... ARGLEBARGLE!! You are such a meat popsicle.

Um... I think this is a second Non-Player Character FC. The one with Stank Balls is "NPC" tag and the FC name is Non Player Character. I don't think I have played with anyone from this particular FC yet. But I still support it! I support NPCs!

I spent way too much time at work on this Chibi maker. Curse you RPC. Curse you. Roen!

Ooh shipping thread! Well, I am not going to ship people that ARE already together... Osric and Askier! Nat and Kage! (they are not technically together right?) Delial and... Alexei! (they are both kind of scary) Verad and Aya? (they both kind of "work" at the Quicksand..) Berrod and Oscare? (because they seem to tumble over each other...) Siha and Zach! (because who can resist all that skin...!) Let me think who else...

I think people should play wherever they want. Wherever their story takes them. Wherever they have FUN. That's what RP is about. I am not here to broaden world RP. I am here to have fun. That being said, I really did love RPing in Coerthas with Itar and Askier. The harsh environment there just enriched the story SO MUCH. I have also met others with Rae in Coerthas which was interesting because she hates that place, but needed to go there for business. I love Coerthas. Love that white landscape. But it has its own place in RP, for me. Roen has gone to Gridania to meet Kiht, and a few others, and the change of scenery was something she drank in. Gridania is beautiful! Now? Roen is in Limsa. And will likely be there for awhile. Because that's where the story took her. She could no longer stay in Ul'Dah (despite the fact that *I* love Ul'Dah) for storyline reasons. I suspect I will have her wander into the city itself but mostly she is in Middle Noscea. Maybe I will run into some random RP at the Wench or Bismarck, who knows?

Roen blinks, she too had been listening to the conversation quietly, watching the raven-haired Highlander woman as she steered the conversation to the topic of love. Roen had not had much to add to it until now. She glances up at Hornet's answer then blushes as she looks back down and nods to the Roegadyn woman. "...Aye." She murmurs. "I believe there is ... a match for one's soul. That there is one... for everyone. Somewhere." She stares at the wooden grain of the table in front of her, but her gaze turns dreamy. "And perhaps for some, there is just that one person. If there are more than one that can nurture your heart and soul, then you are indeed blessed, I believe."
-
The Highlander swirls the dark red liquid within the rim of her wineglass. Her eyes narrows at the men in turn. "Well that wasn't s'posed to make people somber. It's the affairs of the heart we speak of!" She rolls her shoulders and looks to Oscare. "Never say never, love. You never know what Nymeia has in store." She slides up next to Warren. "Ye dear thing, have been broken more than once. I can tell." Her green eyes finally brighten as she glances coyly to the Miqo'te. "I have loved many, and some may have even laid claim to it... so they believe." She tsks. "I would not be so foolish to trust another with such a thing. But that does not mean one cannot love, laugh, and enjoy each other, aye? Ye have loved more than one," she points a finger at C'Kayah. "And still do!" She lets out a long dramatic sigh. "Does anyone really believe in the fabled one true love?"

Well DONE, Askier! Here I was trying to figure out how to take that Sergeant down with Rae. Nope! Jin'li is way ahead of me! Excellent! -

Oh HO HO! Very interesting. Although... now I have no idea how and why I would involve my main. ... Dammit. -
I will echo Siha by saying... OH MY GAWD ERIK!!! We were WORRIED! I think we talked about you... three days ago? Wondering what happened. I am glad you are okay!!!

The Highlander laughs genuinely amused. "A man after my own heart. Except of course, he cares for his own only." She sighs, looking up back at the woman in armor, and gives her a lopsided grin. "What is precious to me? Me and mine. Above all. As it should be. Duties only chain you to a path that puts others before you. I care for no such nonsense." She glances over her to Mr. No Fun and tips her wine glass his way. "Aye, no point in romanticizing wars, deaths, or even hunting for wealth and relic." Her grin turns mischievous. "So then, let us speak of romance if not adventures! Has anyone called your heart their own?"
-
"Surely, there must be something more than a long wooden carved thing." The Highlander tapped on her wine glass with a fingernail. "Although... a bow is my preferred weapon as well. Curved and lean. A stroke of a fingertip can make it sing. But that answer still bores me. Come now, handsome. 'fess up. After you set your bow aside, what else?"
-
The Highlander looks pleased. "And why not? Too many bluster about honor, life and death, and all that is wrong in the world. I prefer to drink my wine over more pleasant conversation. And even better, scenery that is easy on the eye." She pushes off from the railing, reclaming the glass of wine that was precariously balanced on the wooden beam. She is not favoring this strange tea that everyone seems to be high on. "And boxes or briefs -- it is very important. It guards some of your most precious things." "Pray tell, what are some of your most precious things?"
-
"Anything," a voice breaks into the conversation. It is a raven-haired Highlander, leaning on the railings near Oscare's table. She wears a smirk as she watches those gathered, jeweled arms folded in front of her. "Anything that is precious to me. It could be a joke that made me laugh. Or my favorite bottle of perfume. Or my mother, I love her dearly! And no one goes near my Basht." She shrugs. "Bah, so serious of a discussion. Why not talk about what's really on everyone's minds?" Her green eyes roam to the Highlander men without shame. "Boxers? Or briefs?"

Truth! And... remodeling bathroom is NOT FUN. Zodiac books... just might be a little less fun though.

That response was something she did not expect. But then again, she really knew nothing about him. "Oscare... is it? Why? Is there someone you want to end without them ever seeing your eyes?"
