Wish I could had join on either Kestlona Guhtegeiswyn or John Waterstrike. Unfortunately, neither of them are high enough in level to ride the aire ship to Gridania. Not sure which I'll use. Kest is more into the fist to face kind of gal. John might be more willing and would also follow in his sister footsteps (who took of the sword and shield before she was killed).

John Waterstrike look out from the raise, taking in the lights from Limsa Lominsa peeking through the bit of fog. It would be his home, for however long she wanted him there. Yet, would anyplace feel like home without his sister there to guide him. He look down as his Carbuncle rub her head against his ankle. He pulled out the locket from the pocket of his beltpack, He settle onto the ground, allowing the topaz to climb into his lap. "Sorry, Kit, didn't mean to worry you." Her emotion brushed over his own magic, accepting her friend for what he felt at this moment. He flip the locket open, grazing at the picture that rested inside. "Tanya would have loved you." His thumb ran over the teenage midlander, red hair pulled back into a ponytail, and a gentle smile to the child miqo'te. "Sister, I wish that you had lived. I don't know if I could ever me this my home like you made Gridania yours." The purple hair keeper laid back onto the ground and let his eyes drift close. 'Maybe...just maybe, you could tell me why I'm having such painful headaches and visions of people that I know nothing about.'

I'll try to get Kest over there for the event. Can't make it a promise because I may have to work that night.

Kestlona Guhtgeiswyn looked over the message board in the Adventurers' guild, hoping to find a second job now that her Pugilist instructor ok her taking on a second guild. The female Seawolf snorted at the open in the Goldsmith guild. 'Yeah, I can just see myself trying to be delicate with all of those gem and metals,' she thought to herself. Her bothers would probably laugh their asses off if she took that. 'Weaver...nope...escort...oh, that kind of escort.' She sighed, 'Might check it out late but I need a steady source of gil right now.' "Hm," she mutter, "Gladiator looking for more students." She tap her finger against her chin. "Should check that. Can't hurt to know other ways of making the bones of my enemies into powder." An eyebrow went up at one posting. "Ah, the miners' guild is looking for workers." The post listed the amount of gil that would be pay. "Yes, this would be just the thing. What they didn't sell themselves, I could probably sell myself." She quickly made her way out of the Ul'dah Adventurers' guild, heading deeper into the city to try and find the Miners' guild.

*quickly write down name* I'll make sure to find you in game. Sounds like a fun LS, Kest is still trying to find a restaurants with large enough utensils and it never hurts to find out a new way to crush bone into powder.

Is she a Roegadyn? YAYS. So rare they are. Welcome! Thanks for the welcome Kat. Yep, she is a Roegadyn. I wanted something different from the Miqo'te and Midlander that I play on another server. Though I might bring my male Miqo'te in as an alt. Kest is something of a tomboy, having grown up with 3 brothers, and comes from the La Noscea. She in Ul'dah to train as a pugilist. That's pretty much all that I have with her background right now. As for Kest personality, she friendly, especially once she gets to know someone. She more comfortable during more maleish activities then girlish activities. I hope once I get some RP on her than I'll work out more of her personality.

Just popping in to say hi from Lurkerdom. Been cruising the site and getting a feel for the community. I haven't done any RP in the game but hope to get some light RP in the game. --MMORPG background Play a few MMOs. FFXIV, WoW, some GW and GW2, DCUO, and Rift. --RP experience No RP experience in any of the games I listed. But I do have some experience in the old pen and paper and also Message Board/Livejournal communities. --Character ideas/info My main character on Balmung is Kestlona Guhtgeiswyn. I have a basic story work out for her. I also have a story work out for an alt but haven't been able to do anything with him yet. --How did you learn about the coalition? I actually learned about the coalition from Nel Celestine's Youtube videos. --What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy? I'm aiming for light to medium on Kest depending on how often I can get on. --Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc)I work full time, so I'm a bit limited on free time. Also I'm 38 years old.
