I wonder... will it import our characters as is from 1.x in to 2.0, so we can then edit them? I do not remember the specific options I used for Deir anymore, and doubt I will change too much...

Hey all~ time for a new project! Been doodling a lot lately but no real conformity, so I decided to spark up a new project that's not so out of date! (Come the new year, there may be a male calendar though~) The new project is going to be called 'Circle of Influence'. Basically, each person is going to get a plot of land on the paper (there are thirteen) and I will draw them. Trick is, the characters are going to all be age 13~ So, if you want to be a part of it, please provide your character name, your desired 'plot' of land, and a detailed description of their looks and personality at age 13! This isn't a 'huge problem', it's become like this due to the simple refusal of a request that in my opinion, couldn't be more basic or easily worded. Square-Enix is not going to care, in fact Eva has more of a claim in that regard, as if someone requests something on the Lodestone to be taken down because it has their name in it, they are in the right no matter what is said, because it's their name. Square-Enix will have no control of a third party website, such as the RPC. I count once on the Lodestone, her second posted comment viewable in OP. I count second, after she REPOSTED it because you deleted her comment. And now a third time here, on the RPC, where you cannot delete her posts.

You are the one making this in to a drama fest, everyone else has agreed with Eva on this. You posted first, and instigated. You remove it first, and Eva will gladly remove this thread. Anyone can see how that is the fair way to go. Just do it and end all this crap, the rest of us are tired of the drama being created.

This post was created before you posted anything in your blog stating you would remove it, while Eva asked you repeatedly. This thread would not have been created if you would have obliged in the first place, instead of ignoring and merely deleting her posts, then your own. It's simple really, there is no winner or loser in this. Just delete your post on the Lodestone, which should not have been made in the first place, and Eva will remove this thread.

Always willing to lend a hand~ Would be up for a moderator/development position, if needed. I've schooling in Java/jQuery/C++/HTML/CSS and databasing. Not to mention experience with graphics~ Please let me know if I can be of use! Using a newer, flashier way of coding will give the site a fresh start and some nice appeal. Sharp looks, fading, rotating image boxes, custom fonts, CUSTOM EVERYTHING. FFXIV is getting a facelift, so should the RPC~ I think it would be a neat idea to get a list together of forums that people like visually, and see what we all can come up with in the ways of ideas! If you can find it, it can be coded. If you can dream it, it probably can be too~ ~(._.)~

Town Square (IC) Stories, journals, and interactive RP. This is what I meant Eva. This is the current place for journals that not many are using. I just think it would be neater if we had a place like a blog specifically for journals. I can work with Kylin to figure out some coding, but only if people would end up using it. It could end up being similar to the way the Wiki is laid out.

Welcome! As for the EU shells, I don't think so. Personally I'd wait until a few weeks after ARR launch to find a more established EU shell. There are a few NA shells still kicking around here, but everything might change come 2.0~ Let us know if you need anything!

Kylin is basically a god I'm sure it's possible. I have to move all of my journals over from Lodestone anyways, so not like it will be any MORE of a hassle. Gives me a chance to do some kind of cleanup. I just liked the Lodestone personally for the exposure. So... a resounding 'add it to the RPC?' *I should add that I don't like the format of simply 'creating a thread' for a journal, which is what is currently on the RPC.

Hey all! As you all may have noticed there was a long post on the Lodestone this morning about the upcoming transition to ARR.The biggest thing that stood out for me would be the changes to the Lodestone itself, and the functions of blogs. In the transition to ARR, SE intends to change the current Rich Text formatting in blogs to Plain Text. This will remove features us as RPers use quite often, such and striked out text, images, italics and the like. Personally, I do not see them changing this back for us at all, so I propose a new more functional system, and would like the opinion of the community. As many journals as we can, in one place, viewable to everyone. Possibly an external site (which is easily made), here on the RPC or perhaps on the wiki! This way, for people like me, I can read everyone's journals (while I'm supposed to be working) without going to A HUNDRED different sites. Though I'm going to miss being able to post on the Lodestone properly Ideas?

(All of my plans are subject to change with the whole storyline and whatnot they present us, so I guess these are tentative decisions.) Along with Kylin I will also be aging Deir 5 years. (Her age has already been adjusted) Not going to give away all the details, but she will be in the midst of the fighting and survive. And for what happens after 5 years well... just gonna have to wait and see~

Navei Asue (+5): A man for which Deirdre has absolute trust in. Recent circumstances have parted them. Eva Ianeira (0): And old friend grown apart. At a recent encounter Deirdre found her changed, and has decided to avoid her due to their past, though having wished to become friends once more. Yssen Van (-5): Having previously started to warm up to Yssen, Deirdre has grown to loathe him because of his sister, Ysa, who he apparently has no desire to stop harming his friends. Ysa Van (-5): Deirdre had zero intentions of getting mixed up with Ysa, but after she harmed Gerik while looking for her, Deirdre went along with the scheme and physically assaulted the woman in return. She will try to kill Ysa on sight. Shurin Mizune (-5): Once her lover, now her enemy, Deirdre and Shurin are at odds after Shurin attempted to kidnap their infant son, Falke. Deirdre will try to kill Shurin on sight. Aylis Crescent (0): Having previously loathed this woman for her part in Shurin's 'duty', Deirdre now holds no love or hate for her after a brief visit to her home. Coerthas is defiantly a good place to start, there are a few out of the way areas that after sneaking through the lvl45 mobs (which would just take coordination) that we could chill. The hamlets are one of those. Owls Nest/Falcons Nest being good ones. I'll take a ride around and see if I can find anything else good. Actually thinking about it, it would be a super convenient thing for me to have Deir there as a bard, as she has taken up the harp as a trade. Better than killing for gil, which she is in no condition to do. Sign me up OOCly and I'll take care of the rest ;D

Have to say actually super excited about this event. Kinda picturing everyone huddled in an ornate temple (LOL stupid imagination) Won't matter who likes who when we're all GOING TO DIE! Is there going to be any kind of signup, or time laid out for this? :love:
