This seems like a perfect style for a Fem Roe. It earnestly reminds me of some of Amano's work, especially on more muscular characters. I'd be very curious to see what Nykkus looked like.

Lots of spontaneous RP, endgame from Atma to Coil to tome farming going on. Dungeon runs, T-map grouping, Chocobo leveling, spiritbonding as well. Not to mention the main RP events coming up. The USH is planning a ball of our own that may also include a date auction. It's never to early for anyone to sign up for either. Check us out!

This was a major issue when people were first trying to set up sub accounts at the beginning of their paid service. I don't know how most got around it. Curiously enough I would get those same errors on my gaming PC, yet when I entered the info on my wives older laptop, it went right through. Something with the browser I think. And now that it's been a while, even my gaming PC gets things through. When I had the issue I checked with my bank to confirm all charges were being accepted. They were. I contacted the payment service company (I forget the name) that SE uses, I contacted SE, none of it helped.

You may be interested in looking the USH up - URL: http://www.unsungheroesguild.com We have consistent RP and RP events, as well as side and personal RP stories going, and an Academy/Adventurers Guild setting that makes it quite easy to ease a character into things. We also do end-game, and have several Coil groups running. While I understand being busy (and certain RL comes first), it would be quite easy to set yourself up as a 'reserve' with the raiding crew. With that system, several current members of ours that are also quite busy are still able to occasionally raid with a known and experienced crew of friends and mates.

I've begun seriously considering looking for a sibling for Ny. She's also a Hellsguard Roe, but the character is around 35. Bit much of a time difference there unfortunately. I do hope you find someone though. Roe Unite!

Unsung Heroes has a large RP presence, and having someone dedicated purely to that would be great. We have both social and Academy RP storylines going on, not to mention plenty of RP adventures. We also do end-game, but have several members who do either one or the other. There would be positions open for both research/teaching/student/ally types within the FC. I'm always happy to see more fem Roe around. There are a few active within the RP community, but by far the least numbered. Welcome to the community - you sound exciting to have around. If you catch yourself on Balmung, look up Nykkus (or Rhuvian Vastitas) and say hi. Ny would love to have a sister, but she's a Hellsguard so that would prove unfortunately problematic. Hey there - The Unsung Heroes would be a good fit for you as well it sounds like. We have a lot of both individual and story arc RP going, and are always doing dungeon runs, including endgame should that be of interest. While IC - if not smashing things - Nykkus is most often found in Ul'dah at the Quicksand, or out and about in Limsa. She isn't the most approachable person ever, but I'm always happy to discuss getting some RP going.

I'd never even considered the possibility that any of Ny's family would come looking for her. THAT could get interesting. Thanks for the idea.

All of this, and the previous suggestions as well. The point of RP is to come up with storylines. To truly LIVE in the world of Eorzea. BE your character. Make up the reasons and allow yourself the chance to enjoy them. Also switching to another class, be it WAR, DPS, or heals, can completely change the way a game feels. Especially if you do it for IC reasons, and let it progress naturally - or even if you have someone helping to train you in that class through RP events. On a personal note I've always enjoyed your posts and was excited to hear you'd transferred over. Everytime I'm wandering about a major city I keep an eye out for you. Not enough Roe around. As a bit of shameless self promotion, Xellie and I belong to an FC that meshes very easily with outside RP, and we always welcome more. If you're ever in need of people to hang out with, give the USH a shout. Hell just last night we had a little sparring tourny that anyone was welcome to come to. Shoving open the tavern doors with a customary excess of force, Nykkus took deliberate and long strides into the tavern. Seemingly ignorant of the surprised glares she received, her large Roe frame moved smoothly through the tavern. Bright green eyes calculated the potential threat level of all they could take in, paying special attention to any newcomers in the Quicksand. A curt nod towards a server was all that was needed for her - the staff knew what she drank. It was all she ever consumed that they could tell. She chose a table with a single occupant - vacant for the usual standards of the popular pit stop. The lone Lalafell merchant quietly attending to his accounting books barely looked up when her over 7' frame sat across from him. Until the double take. Without even finishing his meal he slammed his books closed and left to find somewhere more comfortable to work than under such an intense glare. A Miqo'te server brought over a small tray with two drinks on it identical to each other. Dark brown liquid with swirling grey tones and a powerful smell. Two Mhigan Dry - her favorite. She paid for them and tipped well, but otherwise did not acknowledge the waitresses presence. Frowning (as always) at all the excitable conversation around her, she pulled a small booklet from her rucksack along with a quill, and began to write - carefully watching all around her as she did.

Nykkus rides a Coeurl IC - for one it fits her personality better than any other currently available option, and I do have a bit of backstory for it. Since she currently doesn't remember that time period, it'll be something revealed as things move along. On very rare occasion she will summon her Chocobo, Sheol, to fight alongside her, but has no true connection with it.

For Rhuvian it's all about the mood. Typically he just assumes it to be another facet of "the game" and will play along. Nykkus will likely try her hardest to kill you. The person, the reason, the moment - all irrelevant details to her. It is not wanted, is not appreciated, and will be perceived as an imminent threat, to be dealt with lethally.
