  1. That's where Askier's arm went!
  2. Askier's golden eyes opened slowly, and blinked. The Garlean used his right hand to rub the sleep out of each eye as he yawned and rolled his neck. The table he had slept on in the basement of Red Wings HQ was far from comfortable, but he hadn't had a chance to set up any kind of personal quarters yet with everything that had been going on. Askier sat up, his spine popping in protest and his muscles were incredibly stiff. He felt the left half of his body dragging behind and his tired mind was momentarily confused. He looked and then remembered why. His golden eye saw the metal, magitek arm hanging limp at his side. The shoulder mount had been bolted and grafted to his bones and muscle tissue, wires inserted into tissue and nerve endings. The arm itself was attached to the metal mounting base and was a simple appendage. There was a tingle of electricity as Askier stared at his mechanical hand and watched the fingers slowly open and close as he made them, feeling nothing. The woman Alexei had brought him to meet the night before, this Oria, had informed Askier it would be years before he had full, functional control over the limb and he might never be able to move the limb without looking at it. Askier had been a bit disappointed, but between Oria's promise to tweak the settings of his new limb, and the fact that he didn't have to gaze at an empty stump anymore, Askier was willing to wait years. The thirty-one year old miqo'te looked over at the sleeping form on the floor and smiled. None of this would have been possible without Alexei, whom even in sleep seemed to be frowning. The man was a skilled surgeon and had installed the arm well enough. Askier looked at the sleeping hyur's face and marveled at how that man had gone from stabbing Askier in the stomach to acting as Askier's bodyguard. Life had a weird way of working and Askier was glad it did. Alexei was the most honest man in all Eorzea in Askier's mind. Not a great conversationalist, but if he said something, you just knew it was true. There was a jolt of electricity in Askier's muscle where a wire met his muscle and he tensed. It had been that stray wire that had prevent him from using the new arm at all last night when he finally got to use the tool he and his small band of allies had stolen from the Castrum to disarm Jin'li's collars. Askier looked down at the black bag resting by the feet of the table and the tool that was poking out of it. It was a simple, crescent shaped piece of metal, attached to a handle, not unlike a pugilist's weapon. Askier closed his eyes and thought back on the tense moments in the Golden Bazaar last night when he had completely removed Kiht's collar and disarmed the explosive in Miah's collar. It had taken three people, Kahn'a, Alexei, and himself to disarm them, but it had worked! Soon the other collars would be disarmed and removed as well. He wasn't sure why Miah had requested her's left on, but she seemed to have a plan and any plan against the white-haired runt was a good plan. Askier kept gazing at the tool and smiled to himself. For the first time since he had been carried, bloodied and broken, like a babe from Itar's clutches, he felt a sense of pride and confidence in whom he was. He still had nightmares, he still hated surgery equipment, he still had to sleep with a stuffed animal, which currently rested beside him, but he had used his knowledge and skills to help someone in need, and it felt good. It made Askier smile. Maybe he really was worthy of the rank of engineer that Erik had bestowed upon him. Just maybe.
  3. Awesome... time for me to shatter all preconceived notions of who Crofte actually is... I might have a clue...! (and I can totally get drunk for this PVP) (...may not be a little too goofy then though on VOIP) (.... maybe not a good idea) This can only end well. I second Warren's statement.
  4. Jin'li stood in the middle of the room, his black eyes staring wide-eyed at the wall, which was covered in calculations and numerical values. His left arm moved furiously as he played a violin, the bow screeching back and forth across untuned strings, blood dripping from the finger tips of his right hand. For bells on end, he had stood there, staring, and playing, violently. The cacophony his instrument had been making had forced the two assassins whom had stood just outside to distance themselves from the open door. The miqo'te was lost in his own mind. Jin'li's mind saw the face of his dead master Adin, standing over the mental image of the dead, headless, corpse of Lady Rema, his second master. Adin was smiling. "Rema is no more. We are done with plans of conquest, Jin'li. Ul'dah's destruction awaits." Adin's voice whispered in his mind, causing Jin'li's right ear to twitch. The white haired miqo'te played on, the notes growing louder. Jin'li." the mental voice of Adin said as the imagined face turned into a scowl. "Stop that insufferable noise." Jin'li played on, silent, his face emotionless as he gazed into his first master's eyes. "Jin'li that's an order!" Adin barked. Jin'li blinked and then played faster. "You are no longer worthy of service, Master Adin." Jin'li said in his monotone voice The imagined Adin blinked. "You will repent for your backtalk slave, do not forget whom saved you." "This humble slave saved himself by impressing you with my skills ten years ago. You are not worthy of service. This humble slave has broken Ul'dah with his hands and Lady Rema's plans. You are just anger and failed plans. I rid myself of you." "And then whom will you serve?! A slave must serve Jin'li!" Adin snarled. "This humble slave shall serve himself for the first time in his life that soon shall end." Suddenly Jin'li bent over, adjusted the angle of the violin and the bow and then shoved forward. The bow pierced his left ear violently and then tore most of the left ear off. Crimson immediate stained his white hair but Jin'li's black eyes gazed at Adin, an imagined spear now thrust through the imagined hyur's chest. Adin gasped in surprise and Jin'li bowed as he kept playing the violin. "That was rude of me, Master Adin. I'd ask your forgiveness, but, I no longer need your approval." The imagined forms of master Adin and Rema faded away and his black, dull eyes focused on the wall. The defenders of Ul'dah had counter Jin'li plans well. The numbers of dead were low, between a few hundred to a thousand had been slain by the Doctor's poison, and that estimate was a best case scenario for Jin'li. The chaos it had created had been pleasing, however, and even a few hundred was more than Laforet needed. The black mage was already altering the dead remains for the next assault upon the Gate of Thal. The plan of his masters...no...HIS plan...it was working. He was doing so much. He only wished that he had more time. The Doctor had come to him just last night. The blood work the Doctor had done on Jin'li showed what Jin'li had already suspected. Jin'li had less than one moon cycle to live. The diseases he carried in his veins were finally catching up with him. He was going to die. Though the white haired miqo'te had no plans on dying alone. As the violin screeched in protest to it's harsh treatment, Jin'li blinked and then smiled. The smile was awkward and contorted. He had smiled less than five times in his entire life. But he did it now and he suddenly giggled. An energetic, youthful laugh, one that mixed with rancor of the groaning violin as he played on. From the doorway, the Doctor watched his fiddling patient in silence. The Doctor's golden eyes held both pity and fear in that moment as they reflected the lamp light. The Doctor had already packed and held his bag in his hand. His patient had long since gone insane and the Doctor no longer felt safe. Without a word, the Doctor turned, his tail swishing as he walked away, outside the compound, and into the light of day. The Doctor sighed as he approached his chocoholic, which was pulling a wagon. The wagon was loaded with the antidote and more vials of his Blue Blood Strand 2. The Doctor smiled. He had already sent letters to Rae and Kanaria. His employment to the Garleans was at an end. His poisons, his antidote, and his skills, were once again at the the service of the highest bidder. The Doctor mounted the wagon and cracked the reigns and he rode off, constantly looking over his shoulder, at the two assassins that watched him leave.
  5. JUST BECAUSE WE HAPPEN TO BE IN THE SAME AREAS TOGETHER AND STUFF AND HAVE A LOT OF THE SAME MANNERISMS AND STUFF AND ALL DOESN'T MEAN THAT SHUT UP DOGBERRY YOUR FACE IS STUPID. I am a mature adult. I think Dogberry broke the Warren You haven't been paying attention if you think he's only just been broken! I might try and collect some like-minded folks this weekend or late Friday for some (probably drunken) Frontlines. As long as you guys don't mind being saddled with a useless paladin or two. Is being drunk recommended or required? Cause either way, I'll be happy to join in and lose with you!

  7. Askier is in your your base. . .getting steamrolled by all your dudes. Pretty much my experience in Frontlines as a Flame, but damn, the masochist in me does enjoy it. Lol. If anyone ever sets up a pre-made, I'll gladly get steamrolled with you. Wait a sec . . .
  8. Okay. Brainstorm on event number 2 time. WOOT. I have been reading threads and posts involving this event very intently and have been doing a lot of thinking on how to make it work in a way that shows I am trying to respect the feedback people have brought up to my attention. There have been changes to accommodate, but overall, I think this may turn out better. Event 2 "Whom Fiddled while Ul'dah Burned?" Note: No Ul'dah is not going to be on fire. Title is cool though. For this event, the more NPC's we have, the better, as the number of heroes has grown. Actually the number of NPCs determines if prong three of this event can occur or not. More on that below. Prong 1: ((Get back in yer hole, partners!)) A certain Black Mage will be leading a host of voidspawn(think zombies)(the NPCs)created from the remains of the poison victims against the city of Ul'dah. We will be keeping this prong outside of Ul'dah by the Gate of Thal. This will be the majority of the event and will be akin to the attack during event number one. However, there is a catch to this event. Every time an npc player is defeated, they come back, representing a different voidsend. The only way to stop the voidsend is to find the Black Mage, whom will be lurking nearby and defeat him and his guards. Once he is defeated, the void sends collapse. The idea is that the heroes are working against the clock. Heroes will probably have 4 hp, the Black Mage may have a higher pool based on how many players are present, and the voidspawn npcs will have 2. Hero side will be led by Kahn'a again. Also thought would be kinda fun if everyone kept count of how many voidspawn they killed and the one with the most gets a 1,000 gil from me...I'm poor okay?! lol Prong 2: ((It's not easy...committing regicide)) A small group of assassins are going to move through the city and try to make an attempt on the Sultana's life. Please note, they will not get to the room where the sultana is. There will be no Sultana npc. They are simply going to try to reach the room. They will be stopped by a small group of heroes. Heroes will be led by Erik Mynhier, baddies by Osric. Erik will be picking those he wishes to aid him in this. Prong 3: ((There's a kitty, fiddling, on the roof! )) So long as there are enough npcs for prong one, I will be rping Jin'li playing a fiddle as he walks around Ul'dah. He will be able to be stopped by anyone who sees him and recognizes his appearance. I'm sure a fight would be inevitable.... lol. Please note, if prong 3 does happen, it is possible to win prong 1 by dealing enough damage to Jin'li that he has to summon the Black Mage to him to teleport him away. However, if there are not enough NPC's for prong 1, I will be attending as a voidspawn NPC on Askier to help balance the sides and Jin'li will need to be dealt with at a different time. I'm think a small group of three to five pc's looking for Jin'li would be acceptable because once he is found, I can only rp fight so many on my own. lol. If anyone is interested in organizing a search for Jin'li and selecting up to 4 others to do so, please send me a pm. That is the outline I have for the moment. I will be making tweaks to the combat rules ever so sightly based on feedback from event 1. and probably give the heroes 4 hp each and the npcs 2 hp since they can keep "re spawning" Please post your thoughts below and I'll have the official rules posted tomorrow.

Nat this made my day. Lol. I think the idea is great and I know some of us could use a little, light humor. If you need any help with event in any way, I'd be happy to help out. At this time, not sure if I can commit Askier for the actual event or not but will get back on that.
  11. Oh forgot to mention earlier. OoC update, several rpers are working diligently on the posion. It is possible cure for posion in water will come by event number two. Just letting people know. Making sure I keep as many people updated as things happen to avoid any confussion.
  12. Morning everyone. I'm just posting this to let everyone know that last night we had a mini-event and got the tool that disarms the explosive in the collars. Now removing the collar is a bit more tricky but we can do that too if anyone with a collar wishes it. I just want to say thank you for everyone who attended last night since it was honestly, mostly, improvised. I'll be posting information about part two after work once I am done tweaking a few things based on feedback I have received.
  13. I'm glad you came. Thank you everyone involved last night in the mini event. It was, well honestly it was almost entrily improvised at the last minute due to several reasons but it turned out swimmingly.
  14. I know Tiergan was working on it and there were some others. I'd be happy to give you any information regarding it if you have any questions.
  15. ...why did you leave? My current company offered me more money....does that make me a whore? lol
  16. I worked at a ski resort for a year and my morning commute to work was thirty minutes of snowboarding.
  17. ...for he is kind? Those poor puppies :< He is ever so kind. And polite... And crazy... And a hater of puppies....
  18. Okay, after an attempted night of sleep, I have realized: We need a statuesque. This is an attempt at a compromise all round. Here goes 1) All wells, fountains, and contained water sources inside the Ul'dah and the Goblet are contaminated and will be for one week, after which the poison will disperse in the water. This does not include the pond/river/waterfall thingy in the middle of the Goblet, nor does it affect the surrounding water sources such as the river outside the Gate of Nald. 2) The death toll: High hundreds, low thousands. I'm putting my foot day and giving us something. Why these numbers? Well first, in my mind, Ul'dah is not like Rome during the height of it's Empire, which housed nearly a million people. Ul'dah is a city state like Athens or Sparta and would likely house around 50,000 to 100,000 people. So if we keep the number of dead low, people who do not wish to rp tons of people dying, or are not part of the event all, simply rp as they please, and those whom are part of this event say the named npcs never got a chance to drink the contaminated water and that anyone rping drinking drinks from the Quicksand are drinking non-contaminated beverages. Secondly, we must remember Jin'li was caught in the act, so people knew something bad had just happened within minutes of his completion and those whom nearly nabbed him: Warren, Saravena, Alexei, and Erik, spoke. IC law enforcement players such as Erik, Kahn'a, and Kage were sending out orders about sealing off the water sources immediately afterwards, just like would have happened in a real crisis, and started shutting down the water supply down for testing. These facts, mixed with the fact that a bomb went off outside the gate and caused a distraction to the npc civilians, means that the window for people to actually obtain the poisoned water was, even in real world time, extremely small, thus leading to a small number of infected. 3) I have gathered from Kage's posts that the water supplies are under lock down by the Brass Blades and other law enforcement, but fresh water is still obtainable via the river outside Ul'dah and the pond/river/waterfall-thingy inside the Goblet. This means that the city of Ul'dah can still function, albeit with a high level of tension. 4) Anyone whom has a collar is free to have it disarmed after this evening and the player is more than free to rp the fallout of their character as they see fit. There has been statements saying fallout is needed to be appropriate for the crime and I understand from personal experience both sides of this arguement. Askier tried to blow up Ul'dah to save his sisters's life. He failed, was put on trial, had to fake his own death, laid low for awhile, slunk back to Ul'dah, was hired by Natalie to kidnapped Roen, had the kidnapping backfire on him, was skinned alive and tortured and lost his arm, developed PTSD from the event and has to now sleep with a stuffed animal nightlight, and now works for Erik Mynhier, whom in turns serves Ul'dah. I still get repercussions all the time from Askier's actions. Last night alone, a lynch mob showed up and tried to lynch Askier and Erik and Kahn'a had to drive the mob off. I understand these repercussion are mandatory for his action. However: None of it was without my permission. That is the most important thing. I don't have time to level or redevelop rp connections with my RL responsibilities plus I am way to attached to the one-armed bonehead. I ask all those whom have shown concern about how justice will be handed out to those involved on the bad side to just trust in the players rping and see how things ultimately roll out. If, in the end, their punishment isn't as severe as you believe it should it should be, or it is a bit hand waved, please remember, it is the player-of-that-character's choice to ultimately decide what happens with their character. There was once a person who wanted to chop off Askier's tail and really, Askier couldn't have stopped him, but I said, OOC'ly, I was not okay with losing the tail. Perhaps it was a tad unrealistic, but Askier is my character, no one else's, and at the end of the day, I want to be able to enjoy rping my character and no one has the right to make me rp in a way l don't want to. That said, I have zero right to make someone who is uncomfortable with the whole poison idea to rp it it at all. If someone tells me they don't want to rp it, I understand 100% and Askier can rp about something else with the person in question. I one hundred percent believe those whom participated on the bad side will rp appropriately. I know for a fact Jin'li will be dead at the end of this event, and I'm kinda attached to the little, crazy kitty. I want to say, Everyone here on this forumn is a stellar rper. If you all weren't, I certainly wouldn't be running this event.:love::love::love::love::love::love: I hope that this 4 point post is something we can all agree upon. This is my attempt at working with those whom have voiced opinions all around. Is this list perfect? Probably not. But it is a compromise and I hope it is an indication that I am happy to work with people. My one request is that we DE-escalate this thread. There is a lot of tension in this thread at the moment and I really, really, really don't want Freelance Wizard to lock this sucker down. Because I would need permission to open a second thread to finish the event off. Thank you all again for all your feed back and I will continue to work at this event. I did say there would be hiccups in my event post. I think it's safe to say we found a couple. LOL. Thank you everyone for be understanding with me.
  19. One thing I love about these plots is that RP things start to almost have as much weight as things that are written into the lore. After the poisoning, 'Collared' seems almost like on the level of 'Tempered' in regards to the level of scariness. I think Tiergan is right, people might have agreed to have to have been collared so that the sides could be even for the saturday event, but they don't want their char to be hated forever. Currently there isn't any IC way for people to get out of their collars, so anyone who has been collared has one of two options. 1: Go along with what they are told, which could lead to very bad long term consequences. 2: Tell Jin'li to go fuck himself, and die. I think we need to consider that maybe there needs to be a third option, "Get rid of the collar somehow." While this would rob Jin'li of many allies, I think quite a few of them would be willing to come back as NPC's or the equivalent. Part of the problem with not telling anyone ICly what being collared meant, is that many people didn't know OOCly as well what they were getting into. I think we've done the whole, "What will happen as punishment" to the collared people discussion to death, so this isn't about that. This is more about giving people an out who might not have know what they were signing up for. I had actually set up an event to obtain the tool Askier needs to disarm the collars a while back and been working on it since . I started rping it the the same day I collared Osric since I back-storied Askier having designed said collars back when he was a Garlean solider. I am more than willing to disarm the explosive the collar to anyone whom is collared TOMORROW after the mini event is done should anyone with one like. I am more than happy to make sure anyone whom wishes it to allow them a way out immediately to not cause them any problems IC'ly, and if doing so makes one side lop-sided..meh....baddies gotta lose eventually, right? Even if Jin'li dies at the end of event two and we don't get an event three. Now, I have created what can only be equaled to a firestorm of conversation and controversy over my event and I apologize for all those whom have been blindsided/offended/put off. I never meant to cause anyone to feel anything other than enjoyment for my event and in a way, I honestly feel a little disappointed in myself for not doing a better job communicating. Please do not blame anyone save me. All those whom have helped me have been fantastic for sparing their free time.
  20. LAST TIME I EVER GO AFK WHILE POSTING ON FORUMS! lol
  21. ...the Goblet is directly connected to Ul'dah via a passageway by the Miner's Guild. That's really close, vicinity-wise, if not a part of. I feel the need to state the above because, um, I ran into some people who didn't know that that entrance existed... yeah. I used to be one of those! lol
  22. Just told Kage in-game but need to post here. The -fountain- in Goblet is poisoned but the water and river in middle of Goblet is not and drinkable cause there is a water fall and that would have swept poison away.
  23. Oh..I almost forgot and this is super important:|. I was unaware of the fact that, during the Satruday event, there was -not- a search party looking for Jin'li. I had been under the impression there was going to be one and when several people (who apparently were not related to the event) -did- stop me while I emoted, including Warren, I assumed that these people were part of an effort to stop me. It wasn't till -after- the event that I learned from Aya that said search party had never been implemented due to confusion/schedules not working out/ general chaos of trying to mange an event of this size and I do feel bad for that. :frustrated: This was a hiccup and I am sorry since most of the feedback has been regarding this particular issue. It was simple miscommunication and I don't want anyone to think I tried to manipulate events to my favor in anyway. Like I said, baddies gotta lose and I very much went into this event planing to lose. Also, the collar situation...um...let me say, simply that I never planned to collar more than three people. Osric, Kanaria, and Leilani. However, one of my baddies, whom has been a huge help, said he thought using them against some people would make sense and could he have the go ahead and try to. I said sure, so long as the players agreed ooc. To my knowledge, everyone whom is now collared did agree ooc. But seriously, I never planned on so many...funny how rp happens...lol. And just in case people were wondering, yes I do have a plan to disarm explosive on collars currently being undertaken. Was planned all along, just not for so many people. LOL.
  24. Oh my, I stop checking my thread for a day and look what happens! lol. Alright, I am going to do my best to answer the valid points here and hopefully work a decent compromise to all this. Before starting, I do appreciate constructive feedback, good or otherwise, so let us begin. *crackles knuckles and begins* I certainly have no intention of fucking the world of Eorzea, which I -very- much enjoy , and I did not poison any water source outside of Ul'dah. The amount of poison used was enough to contaminate water sources in Ul'dah, no more. Just like a real poison, too much water would disperse the poison out over to great an area and eventually render the said toxin useless. I love seeing the consequences of my rp actions, hence why Askier is missing an arm. Jin'li is going to be dead after this event. I went into this event with this plan and he will suffer his consequences because he must. Though all those whom have -helped- Jin'li thus far were completely unaware of his poisoning plans. This was one hundred percent intentional. I deliberately did not poison water sources outside the city, including the river running before the Gate of Nald, so water could still be obtained. There is a crisis inside the city for sure and people who drink the contaminated water will die but with word having gotten out so fast, people can start lugging buckets to the river. I hear you, but what starting to bother me is the absoluteness of the scope of this. Every source of water in Ul'dah has been contaminated with a toxin that kills people within 24 hours. That goes beyond "increasing tension". Speaking personally, what I'd like to know is: Shouldn't the NPC guards of the city be able to prevent some of the water supplies being poisoned? How lethal is the poison when it's at the dilution it would be in the water supply? What percentage of the population is susceptible to that? If Jin'li was able to do this undetected, how was anyone able to find out that it even happened? What percentage of the population drank a lethal dose of the poison before that happened? If I were running Ul'dah, and I became aware that this had happened, I'd assume someone was attacking the city. I'd focus on mitigation, but I'd also call up everyone who could hold a sword and ready a defense. This includes both guarding the Sultana (event 2) and the aetheryte (event 3). How will that affect those two events? This is a large event, and as large events often go, things go awry because people aren't aware of the whole picture. My concern is that this makes it too easy for the villains to achieve victories* that would have long term ramifications which are difficult to play out. This is a big wall of text, I know. I don't want to sound like an Angry Andy, and I don't want to sound like I'm calling Askier or Osric out for putting this together - this is a fantastic arc, and it's been a lot of fun to play in it (as it was to play in their last arc). I just feel that the actual details of these tension-increasing events need some clarification. C, you have made some very, very valid points and I hope I can explain this all well enough . Here goes: 1) The npcs could have if they had known he was up to something. I planned, and Warren can verify this because I rped it with him, is that I would walk Jin'li up to the water sources with a barrel of posion, but the posion was in in old whiskey barrels, and he dumped the poison in quickly. If anyone asked what he was doing, he answered, like to Warren, that he was dumping whiskey out because his master was giving up the habit. If someone smelled the barrel, they would catch hints of the whiskey from the years of fermentation inside the wood. So if the npcs had seen him doing this, while suspicious, would have probably just sent him on his way with a warning not to do it again. If I assumed their reaction incorrectly, I apologize but that was my line of thinking and I commuted to it as Warren can attest. 2) For the first day it would remain at maximum potency. However, like all toxins, it would begin to disperse and break down over time. In time, maybe a week, week-and-a-half, the toxin would loose nearly all of it's potency and the wells would be drinkable again because the source of the poison is not perpetually inside the water. 3) Jin'li was caught by Alexei, Warren, Erik, Saravena, and others immediately following his last poisoning. Alexei and Saravena both know who Jin'li is by name and face and Warren had seen Jin'li dump something in a well. Warnings were being send out via IC immediately after I logged back on as Askier after Jin'li escaped. 4) Jin'li is planning on people thinking the city is under attack. The reaction of the city being under matrial law is, in my mind, the most logical reaction and the one that Ul'dah is currently under with curfews, and rationed supplies. Jin'li's goal is, truly, to sow panic. He doesn't -really- serve the Empire, only the voices in his head. I planned events number 2 and 3 to be extremely one-sided for the heroes because of the increased security. Hence why I need npcs for them. Everyone wants to be a hero  . lol Orrrr maybe Zhi will finally have a way to firmly put him under thumb and therefore removed as a threat. Teehee. Now just to update ic knowledge. . . I hope that any merchant/trader FCs are getting involved in this! This is the sort of thing that makes me wish I had that sort of character. Legit rp reason to broker deals under tension? Yes please! I really admire all the hard work in the rp that is happening in Ul'dah, ooc tensions aside. Do remember that this is only Askier's second event, and that it's impossible to organize things in a way that will please everyone when there are a lot of people involved. I think if something happens that you don't like, or you like to be kept oocly informed, just pm the organizers and ask them to next time please give you a heads up as you don't like feeling like the rug has been pulled out from under you. That way they can surprise the people who like being surprised while not making anyone feel like they've been duped. Win/win? Keep up the good work, you lot. This rp sounds so delicious. edit - and remember, playing the blame game isn't fun either. I know for me sometimes I can do something and be all happy and excited and think it's cool -- only to have someone really upset because it wasn't the sort of thing they're into. It happens. It's easy to forget that the sort of rp you're comfortable with and love isn't the sort that everyone else loves. It's rp! Rather than feel upset, put heads together and start working out ways to solve the problems at hand. You're all super talented, creative people. I have faith. I appreciate the compliment Zhavi. My real world job requires I work 55 hours a week, 6 days a week, often 12 hour days. I know, for a fact, that sometimes I let things slip through the cracks on my events, or my rp, because of my work schedule and that is why I always ask that people roll with any hiccups that I know will occur. I feel bad cause there has been so many complications and confusion as a result of this event and it is my fault for not clarifying things. I simple ask for patience and understanding with this event and with me as there are over 40 people participating IC'ly to some degree or another currently and that I deal with an enormous amount of PM's and rp currently. I have never, ever, run an rp event this massive before. My last event was a bit smaller....okay a lot smaller. lol. Like I told Aya via PM, I am always happy to have feedback. I hope that I was able to clear at least a few things up with this wall of text. And, of course, you are all awesome and I love my time on this forumn and in this game. If you all weren't so awesome, I would never have thought to run events like this one and my last one.
