That's a fair point, but where would the sound come from? I don't know if I've ever even seen a large bell in-game. lol Don't hold me to it, but I think somewhere in the Ishgard/Coerthas area they have a bell. I'm probably going to be looking around for that later this evening......if I remember. You get me a screenshot I'll eat my hat! ...also I'll send some gil to you or something for the trouble. lol I found one! I believe I need to eat a hat now -scarffing noise- Also thank you Sounsy! Your knowledge is impressive as ever. I'd tip my hat to you but I just ate it.

So would that would make the rain more of an amusing weather phenomenon due to programing of the game; rather than a sign of shifted weather patterns like Coerthas? In 1.0, during the fall of Dalamud, the massive amounts of rain in Thanalan was given as a huge sign as something being very wrong. The rain has just remained. There's also much, much more greenery than there was in 1.0. But is the extra greeniery just cause of improved graphics or an intentional choice cause rain? Are we talking trees or just Sade grass?

I don't have tea, but I can make cakes. Lots of cakes. You are certain these cakes aren't a lie? I'm 99.9999% sure the cakes I make aren't a lie. I can confirm that, due to that .0001%, that the cakes are a lie. NOOOoOoOOOOoOOoOOoOo!

Just let it happen, it makes everything better. I'll drag people along with me in search of this bell, make it into a party while i'm at it. RP event+party? What more could you ask for? Tea and cakes? 0.0 I don't have tea, but I can make cakes. Lots of cakes. You are certain these cakes aren't a lie?

Okay I suppose that's fair. But I wouldn't say the vegetation growing is that exceptional. Plenty of desert landscapes can have vegetation and not receive much rain. If anything, Drybone needs -more- vegetation to properly reflect the increase in rain.

I can make into some weird RP event or something.... "Remind me what we're doing here?" "Looking for a bell." "Why?" "Because i'm trying to be an artist and need inspiration." Boom. And thus, the journey that lead to the writing of "The Silent Bell", Eorzea's epic poem of silence and loss of purpose, was begun! ...I need to stop typing when I am out of coffee... lol

Compliments Galore! Compliment The Poster Above You!
Askier replied to Y'lani's topic in Off-Topic Discussion
Haven't rped with GhostlyMaiden ever (though I need to change this) But, since she joined, I've seen her helping people out all the time and just genuinely making the RPC a pleasant place to be. And her characters are fun to lurk on and read their wikis. (I have a wiki addiction okay?!) Plus she was crazy enough to become a mod so props for that Herculian undertaking And for everything else really! -

Having tanked, been killed, AND resurrected during the fight mentioned above before, I am proof that yes, yes they can. lol -

Ever been running through the game and noticed something off? Well post it here and discuss. Starters. Why is it called Drybone when it rains there more than anywhere else? Also! Everyone call the hours -bells- in the game, yet I have never once heard a bell chime the hour, nor seen a bell tower to signal the hour.

Roleplayer Uncertainty/Insecurity Theater
Askier replied to Warren Castille's topic in Character Workshop
I miss those days when they were around. -
Well howdy back at you! Glad to see someone is keeping the antagonist string going! I used to play a antagonist for -years- here in Realm and it was an amazing experience. I currently play a bounty hunter (first character in links below) so if you are interested in developing some conflict rp between them for your plots, I'd be happy to work something out. Feel free to shot me a pm about it, or anything really, and welcome back!

(A series of fliers spread around Ul'dah and Limsa) From the desk of The West Sun Shipping Company: WANTED: Target's Name: Hojo'to Zuginoch Description: Male. Tall for a miqo'te and broad. Encased in heavy armor with white hair tumbling down around alabaster eyes. A pixy nose rests above thin lips and his flesh is a purplish hue. Known Aliases: "The Ram" Last Seen: Taking a ship from Limsa Wanted For: A fortnight ago, the Bounty Hunter named Hojo'to Zuginoch broke into the offices of one Tobias M. Hendrick Jr., a respected member of The West Sun Shipping Company. The brute proceeded to smash his way through the office, wounding several and forcing Mr. Hendrick Jr. to flee into the city. In the crowded streets, the Keeper brute recklessly, and heedless of bystanders, proceeded to first wound, then decapitate, Mr. Hendrick; taking the head and leaving the body behind. We, at West Sun Shipping, are offering a reward for information in regards to this terrible crime; or for the location, or retrieval, of the Keeper bounty hunter known as Hojo'to Zuginoch. The individual is a bounty hunter and clearly dangerous. We, at The West Sun Shipping Company, are not liable in the event you are harmed in the attempt to apprehend this miqo'te.

Not sire if this counts but I know a lot of people who use Skype or even the pm features of this website to to as well. Been having to use Skype myself more since my availability in game is limited and the Skype method give you the chance to rp with people who you might not with otherwise.

This. Disney's sitting here making up all these dumb stories when they've got a plethora of tales already out there. Legacy of the Force and Force Unleashed, just to name a few! I bet they'd make millions! But no... I'm probably gonna end up seeing the movie too. And cringe. -sagenod- Its as if millions of fans cried out at once and were suddenly silenced. I feel like something terrible has happened. . . Its okay Chip. We can start a support group. Lol.

Maaaan. First Disney ruins my childhood by making all the books I grew up reading in the Star Wars universe obsolete (Especially Timothy Zhan's wonderfully written Admiral Thrawn Trilogy) And now Disney is going to milk this baby until I get tired of seeing the Staw Wars logo. ;_; . . .I'll still probably see the movie despite my feelings. Lol. -.-
