Might as well give this a shot. Rauffe's style is rough. REally, really rough. She's the kind of fighter that would rely on anything and everything within her disposal to tilt the odds in her favor. She keeps her body low most of the time, and if she's having to fight someone one-on-one she's highly defensive and posturing. The thing is, however, that due to her nature as a thief, fighting directly hand-to-hand isn't a forte of hers. She's not the greatest with survivability, which is why she instead runs on a mentality of hit and run. Even with her new samurai training, as thorough and dignified as it is, it gets tilted by her to be far more about speed and evasion rather than calm grace. (Best example I can give is Mugen from Samurai Champloo.) She prefers lighter blades (knives and tanto and the katana) and will not hesitate to harass an opponent from afar with anything - bows a particular skill of hers, but firearms and the like are quickly becoming beloved too.

Yo! If you're looking for an adventurer mentor, I believe I could volunteer. I've got someone who could definitely help out with the guiding factor, if not pure adventuring buddy. Rauffe Bell's the character I typically go by, a rather rough-and-tumblr Ul'Dahn who's setting out to try to right at least some of the wrongs in the world around her. Doesn't take shit from those trying to start anything, but more than willing to help those that look like they're unsure of where to go or what to do. There's quite a bit mmore to her than that, of course, but in the interest of keeping it short I'll probably end it here. I can prolly say for sure, at least, that Rauffe would definitely be interested in helping out.

Rumor: Someone has been successfully stealing lucrative goods of the Monetarists, specifically those that have been clearly not part of their reported trade - corrupting drugs, large shipments of arms and ammunition, even shipments of uncut gems and precious metals. Subsequently, the downtrodden in the area have been showing signs of better health and a bit of prosperity to their names - at least enough to cement their own foothold in the world around them. The Monetarists who have been robbed are really tight-lipped, though, about the suspect - only mentioning a woman with the scent of smoking tobacco and spices, and long, elegant dark clothes that stood as a counter to the brusque exterior. A veritable Phantom Thief...
