  1. I would equate Nobility in Eorzea to simply being well off in some way. Rich, educated, generally "above" the status quo. If you define Nobility as the ruling hierarchy, then the only one shown is the line of Ul, that I have seen.
  2. And I'm on the other side of the country. Ah well. I'm sure I have enough pieces laying around to almost build you another.
  3. She looked back to Aya from the men with a questioning and concerned look as if to say 'Does this happen often?' Unsure of how she should react, or what would even be proper in this case. Her voice broke slightly. "I-I'm not sure... I mean... w-we don't need..."
  4. I can't play evil characters. I've tried, it just doesn't work. The most I can do is play someone who's good but tries to stay neutral.
  5. I believe her character is just looking for like-minded individuals to converse with.
  6. Anything can happen in the amazing world of RP! I'm waiting to hear back from someone regarding another major story arc right now (*poke Nero*), but so long as she's not detained you should be able to find her in Ul'dah most of the time!
  7. Erm.. if this is what Queen means, then no. Coatleque would not be 'personally' close to the Sultana. She is, however, fiercely loyal on a professional basis.
  8. (( *gasp* I can't believe Verad doesn't trust Crofte! I always enjoy reading other people's insight to characters not their own. I have to say, though, my favorite part was when Verad poked his armpit with the helmet spike. That little detail speaks volumes to his general absentmindedness. It reminded me of the bow flying out of his hands at the Grindstone. ))
  9. Shouldn't be hard. You're 'free' after all. Leave Thanalan. Become a fisherman. Look for mercenary work. Disconnect 'free' from 'Paladin'. The latter half only describes how you would be expected to react to a situation.
  10. Considering the topic that took up most of today's posts, I think you can make whatever comparison you want.
  11. I'm always willing for Coatleque to jump into open stories as a side-character so long as it makes sense for her to be there. If I see an opening I'll PM you before presuming, of course
  12. We usually chew each other out here so that we can be perfect angels in-game.
  13. Dear Phoenix, It has recently been made public knowledge that my availability in the evenings has become free once more. Since then, I have had no end to amorous advances, propositions of 'fun times' to be had, and even some unexpected affection from co-workers at inappropriate times. As much as I would like to accept some of these offers, it simply would not do to have someone of my position be seen in the sort of scandalous picture this would paint. How would you suggest that I balance both work and personal time while avoiding the need to shatter others' expectations as to my availability? ~ Smothered yet Frustrated

  15. I don't know, all the males Crofte has had to deal with have been quite civil in public. Although those Tia's can be quite rowdy in private.
  16. Have a personal life. I still get tells from people saying "I've never seen Crofte NOT in her armor" whenever she wears her dress.
  17. And those are some stone, cold ones at that.
  18. Wow... just wow... Rivi, I think you answered all our questions with that picture alone.
  19. Le puff-puff de l'Highlander femme? Oui, oui. I'm fully prepared to add this to the list of things that have happened to her over the course of her career now. Not that I encourage it, mind you. But now I'm expecting it at some point.
  20. That I had just purchased a shirt conducive to motorboating but now realize it was a waste of gil. Farewell new
  21. Well, you know what they say... Something to keep in mind in all of this discussion is that there is a huge difference between writing about a subject, and fully endorsing said subject. In the above example it was made very clear that what the sisters did was wrong.
