Hm I want to do something slightly different and post pictures from time Ive spent with Kerwin from first meeting her until now. This is the very first time I saw Kerwin. I was lucky in the fact that she was fresh off her transfer to Balmung, maybe a couple of hours total on the server, and I ran into her as I was leaving The Quicksand. We spoke for a moment, I told her she was attractive and when about my business. Until my friend had to cancel our plans together so I went back to her and asked her to go on a date with me. Fast forward a few weeks, and Ive gotten her attention on a more serious note. Now we're just in the groove of things spending what time together we can afford day by day. Its cold. And thats it. This covers 6? weeks off and on.

Kerwin and I are here in all seriousness to compete for the 7th month. We are best couple Balmung 2014.

I don't raid a whole lot right now but I occasionally enjoy healing the EX primal encounters like Ifrit, Garuda, Titan, and Levi on Extreme setting. Im not entirely sure on the times assuming people show interest, nor am I sure on the frequency at which people would want to run these. I'm not sure if this community, or anyone would be interested but I would personally love to make some premades and get people EX clears for fun, necessity, and perhaps even RP if we would be so ambitious. Right now Otto and his IC girlfriend make a phenomenal Healer/Tank duo and I know she would want to come along to these sort of clearing runs. Kill experience isn't really required, and I don't think many of us would be upset over wipes considering Echo will help us overpower the fight even if someone is struggling with it a lot. I've never really tried to organize something like this before, and I really don't know if people would show interest on this site. I can make Party Finders and get my fun clears but I'd rather try and build relationships with people here vs randoms you know? Hope to hear back from others and hopefully also get some advice on how to manage such a thing.

I find it very hard to believe that bards beat out goons and monks consistently on a single target. If ever. The only way a Bard can ever do extremely well anyways is with a goon helping to buff them. Dragoons and Monks are the top two dpsers on bosses / dummies most times. Theres a monk named Momo on Balmung that cruise controles at over 460 dps in SCOB and a friend of mine named Amal who does over 430 dps on average to bosses in SCOB as well. Goons are fine, monks are fine. Summoners dominating as hard as they do is interesting. They might have too much utility for the output they can provide.

Doing Expert and High roulette gets you over 60k a week, not counting myth crafting items. You literally do no extra work other than run dungeons - which I do for fun anyways.

If only there was a way to test that...

I run a OOC linkshell with about 90 people. Finally had some of the trouble makers leave last night as well and its quite pleasant overall. Its called Casual Roleplayers and nearly everyone has Leadership rank to invite people as they choose. Ive made a bunch of friends making the Ls. In fact nearly everyone I would call a friend joined the LS and we chatted from there. I made it because I am just like you, taking a massive break, coming back and wanting to RP so I transferred to Balmung. I couldnt "break the mold" or "fit in" well at first in my attempts to RP so I just decided to take it into my own hands and make an LS because most of the LS's listed here are half active and most importantly, very hard to get into due to it being very hard to track people down in this game when they arent online. I dont actively recruit anymore for my LS, it balloond rapidly from 5 users to nearly 100 in under 5 days and at that point I quit advertising it and thats also why its not posted here. I think in a few weeks when the dust settles and Im ready Ill post it here to get more people in it. The LS itself is 99.5% OOC, and it has been used for RP meetups. Theres still one or two people that like to argue for the sake of it, but Ive gotten it curbed to an extent. Theres only one soft rule, which is sex/R rated discussion is kept to a low level, and if its too much I will make people cut it out but thats rare. Thats happened twice total and both times the people rage quit due to "free speech" issues. I actively avoid a hands on approach with the LS to make it as free and as organic as possible, and like I mentioned anyone can invite whoever they want. I would say my LS is successful, and by luck its seemingly 60/40 male/female split so its quite pleasant overall and diverse. If your interested Ill be on Balmung tonight after 8 PM EST. This goes for everyone on this website too if you want to join.

I would be interested. I can heal or Dragoon dps. I think I would prefer to dragoon dps. I lack a static and it could be fun (hopefully) if other RPers make a static for raids. Theyre usually nicer people. I just hope people have the skill and patience needed to learn fights and succeed. Some are quite challenging and leave little to no room for a casual attitude to beating them.

Wow I need to find a waifu now, I guess Otto begins his prowl in earnest for a woman worth taking as a wife. Before it was child's play and casual encounters now the try hard comes. RIP Uldah.

Ill heal it, but people if they really want to do this and havent done it before really need to research the fight. Its a long fight, with way too many phases for anyone, regardless of skill, to do without knowing it. I heal it all the time as white mage so Im used to it. Ive also pugged it with people so its doable with people from here. But you really need to be on your A-Game.
