I have a couple friends who use this. I don't use it often myself because I'm an impatient child who hates how slow the page loads, but I've seen some nice outfits on here!

I'm not looking for a static right now but if you ever need someone to fill in for dps/healer (sch,nin) while getting everyone past ex primals, send me a tell! Cessna wouldn't mind hopping in as dps (blm) either for primal clearing. Good luck with savage!!

I'm still trucking along through the low level story quests since I'm very new to the game, but I'd love to RP or casually hang out some time! If you don't mind me stumbling around a bit (a lot) as I try to figure out how everything here works ;^)

Stepping into Ul'dah for the first time in five years sent shivers up his spine, but stepping outside of the city walls and into the desert south of town caused K'akhi to freeze in his tracks, golden eyes darting nervously across the rocky horizon far in the distance and tail thrashing anxiously. To be entirely honest, life before the Calamity was a bit of a blur. He hadn't been that young either - fifteen, just shy of sixteen - but light, heat, fire and flame devoured all the gentler memories he had held. But he remembered the dirt, the sand, the sparse greenness - nothing like the Black Shroud, the place he currently called home. He lifted his head to breathe in the arid desert air, and it was the same as he remembered, but newer, fresher, cleaner. The Calamity took life away, but that same life grew back, stronger than ever, in the same way the Thanalan had always been - tough, resistant, and unconquerable - just like the tribes that lived there. K'akhi closed his eyes and in hesitant, almost inaudible voice, murmured, "I'm home." (After a moment of embarrassed silence, the young Miqo'te spun on his heel and darted back inside the walls of the city. He'd visit his old tribe one day. Just maybe not today.)

I was wondering why Gridania was so quiet! I have a friend who made a character in Balmung for the first time, and she was shocked by how much RP was going on in Ul'dah. Can't wait to actually visit there! Speaking of linkshells - I tried doing a bit of research, but is there a huge difference between linkshells and free companies? Still trying to figure out how these two things work, but I'll definitely look into it (and keep an eye out for events and meets, thank you!).

Hello, everyone! I'm actually 100% new to RPing in MMOs (no exaggeration - how do most people even RP ingame? Lit/paragraph RP, or just speaking as your character?), but I love the world of Final Fantasy, I love MMOs, and I love RP, so I figured I'd give this a go! I've done forum/skype RPs here and there, but I've always shied away from RP servers in MMOs - since the thought of an already fully developed RP community was much too intimidating. Anyways, I'm here with just the trial version of FFXIV, hoping to enjoy the game/community enough to purchase the actual game! I'm just running around Gridania like a lost child right now, but I'm excited to visit more towns and learn more about the lore. (I also just discovered the character wiki, and I'm so excited to RP with all of you and meet all your characters!)
