Hey there! We have 10 FC members at the moment and several talkative allies in our OOC LS. Our peek times are about 5pm - 12am PST but people come and go in the afternoon as well. We also have two RL couples, soon to be three most likely so you'd be in good company Our FC tag is , if you see us about please feel free to strike up some RP. We all love random roleplay.

Our FC is in-character and our LS is OOC, I'm afraid. We're always looking for people to interact with though. If you've a job we might be interested in, or in need of send a message to any of our members. We're mad about pick-up roleplay

Roleplay and social interaction is what makes MMOs for me too. The core gameplay of an MMO is rarely good enough to be fun as a totally solo game. I don't have many RL friends who play these games but I have a group of online friends I've played with for about 8 years now and I know I tend to not stick around after they wander off. Making new friends can be hard but Balmung is really friendly and welcoming server. So welcome, and best of luck ^^

The Gilded Mirage is based largely out of the Golden Bazaar at the moment. We'd love to have a presence at any events there, especially of a merchant type. Love the idea!

There are plenty of FC/LS in the Hall that aren't active but there are tons that are. You've posted in several threads in the LS hall, have you gone through their recruitment processes? I know for a fact at least one of the threads you posted in is active. Don't just look for warm bodies though, pick a theme and group that fits your playstyle and your characters. Good ways to judge activity is how recently the thread in the LS Hall was posted in as well as checking out the FC's website. Another way is to look the FC up in game and keep an eye on how many members they have online at any given time. This isn't fool proof though. I've been in guilds with 30 members online at once who rarely talk and never actually RP and in guilds with only five or six that are super chatty with active RP.

Thanks for the kind words, Ozmo. You won't regret a transfer to Balmung. The RP is awesome and the server in generally is very friendly and helpful.

Hi Brynn! Everyone started out at level 1, no worries. And we've several lorehounds in the FC (self included) that love to answer questions and ramble about Eorzean history. The Golden Bazaar is north of Camp Drybone in Thanalan, the area around Ul'dah. We're there a few times a week if you're looking to stumble into our roleplay. We just started a new plotline last night so there's lots of openings for interaction. If you're looking to join formally you can fill out an application on our site to start the process.

It is a perfect building! We usually operate out of the Golden Bazaar with side trips to Silver. Both are such awesome RP spots. Kaylie was happy to have something to do while all of us had our heads in paperwork and plots.
