Here's a related question for you: If someone told you to not put your foot over a line unless you want to lose it and you do so, with that person chopping your foot off... who's at fault?

Thank you for the welcome! I'll be sure to set aside some time to poke at you folks when I can! Got a busy week with work at the moment. and yes more Mhigans I love Mhigans give me more lore Yoshida please

Hello everyone! How are you all doing? I am Alphysian (Al-fis-ee-an), most call me Al simply because they can't pronounce the name. I've currently written up a rough character sheet, which you can peek below. In short, my character is a Mhigan alchemist that is aiming to create medicine that is not only combat ready but superior to current medicine (what a goal). I've recently made a character on Balmung, my main sits in Behemoth simply for raiding purposely only, and I'm currently leveling but I'm quite happy to roleplay to virtually anyone! There's not much else to really say aside from that! I hope to get along with you as well as roleplay with you.

Mayonnaise please. Go back to your potato salad! Run while you can, these people will eat you! JUST GO WHILE YOU STILL CAAAAN. Welcome, don't mind me. This is an FC-mate and we call her mayonnaise.

I can see why the GM don't want people to sell houses, because it can lead to scams plus you're forcing people to pay a much higher price to get a house than if it was just relinquished for nothing and then someone paid for it after.

But does it blend? That's the real debate.

I use quotation marks in say because there are times that I write something extra as an action and I'm too lazy to stop a sentence and then do a /emote after. For example: Auriaune Rondelet: "I do believe you have the wrong person. The person you'd want for the complaints department would be..." She jerks a thumb at a random guard, most definitely the most lanky and likely to be easily beaten up, "Him." It splits what's said and what the action is nicely. It's also a habit from RPing on SMT:I where /emote didn't exist waaaaaaay back.

Such a fantastic troll thread, I applaud the man that started this. This was the best thing to read after a shitty night's sleep. Just to sound like I'm actually being productive in this thread (because not contributing to the thread is an offense apparently), as everyone has stated there's no such vampires in the context of real life myth. There is however a play on the concept, which is shown in Haukke manor and even the information on the Succubus. They're known to take over dead bodies and become that person once again, sounding like them and acting like them perfectly and they all do this just to steal aether and cause torment (cus that's what the Void does, make babies cry). Do Incubus do this as well? Unknown.. I'll also state the "do what you want, don't listen to everyone" statement is by far the worst thing to say when someone is asking for feedback. I'd honestly avoid it unless you're going down the route of venturing into voidsent shenanigans.

Her scowling makes her appear younger than she actually is. I heard it's an old Mhigan technique to look youthful. My characters range between 25-30, with the exception of one which is just questionable on age.

If you can add Klynsunn Kelthyllsyn that'd be totally awesome. Yeah.

I seem to have an uncontrollable switch for being a "Wallflower". On some days I'm like "YO LETS GO RP YEAAAH" and smash by way through someone's house to RP with them like the kool-aid man, shouting "OH YEAAH" is optional. On other days I go into ultra shy mode and end up worrying more about people's expectations than actually going "You know, people aren't going to know your character until they meet them, so you should go out there already". I literally turn into a painting and get scared when people notice. Is there a way for me to overcome that? Nope, I've never found a solution that works for me in particular. Sometimes I really do need someone to smash through a wall and yell at me when I'm in shy mode. Open events are nice for things like this, just wish people were a little understanding that you can't just suddenly gain a boost of confidence or courage or whatever and get out there. Sometimes they need a nudge in the right direction, or a helping hand.

Because a lot of people messed up on the voting (they didn't read the rules that the last vote is only counted), they really should do a revote. The male eastern themed ponytail had a loaaaad of votes, but barely any of them counted. It's kinda lame and I guess a bit disheartening. That and the style that won are a bit...limited. I was hoping to see something a little more appealing to all races. I'm not saying that it'll look ugly, but rather there's a chance it's not going to be used on certain races due to it's style. I'm probably not going to see female Roes with that side ponytail, I don't even see them use the side ponytail thing already given to them (and Highlander I think?). The male hairstyle is limited on facial shape, square shaped faces like male Roes won't suit such a thing but of course I've yet to actually try it on my Roe so we'll see.

I'm classified as unfit for work for an indefinite period of time due to mental disorders and a bad leg. What do I do irl if I don't work? I either play games (like FFXIV) or I go out for walks to recover my bad leg. I try and keep myself as active as possible without stressing myself with my disorders, as pushing myself does give me panic attacks.

They're pretty fun! Totally free to play, and you don't lose out on much by not spending money. You just gain XP and Silver at a lower rate. It's a bit of a crapshoot on games though, as sometimes your team can be really good or really bad. After playing "Diamond Tier" League of Legends for 5 years (To think I even dared to hit Diamond for 3 seasons...don't do it. It's stressful.), I think I have tough enough skin to handle another game where the odds of getting bad teams are greater than good! Probably set this all up when I sleep, since my peasant barely 12mb/s speeds doesn't like it when I download something and play FFXIV at the same time.
