  2. Oh! This sounds exciting! I love how it's going to be laid back, I can't wait to see all the crazy stuff that will definitively be said and done. Ana is going to be so stoked to be a spectator cheering everyone on! Also, I read through the thread a few times now but still haven't found where it says what time you will be holding the event. Am I blind or was it not said yet? >.<
  3. Ana had traveled to Hawkers alley on her icy-blue bird, Terra, with a smile and a short list of things she needed for the Midnight Moogle's garden. Ana had been itching to start a garden ever since the Adagio's hired her a few months ago. The two sad plots had old, dry dirt and remnants of someone trying to grow something but all that was left were dried up twigs of whatever poor plants they were. But, she had finally saved up enough money and decided to go down to the markets to purchase the things she needed to refresh the old gardens. Once there Ana begun perusing the stalls and looked for the things she needed with her large woven basket in the crook of her arm. Hm, alright. Let's see here: topsoil, seeds, trowel, bonemeal, and a cute sun hat! She thought as she mentally reviewed her list with a bright and happy expression and a skip in her step. Just then several brightly colored ribbons dancing around sunny yellow brims caught her eye. "Oh! How pretty!" she said as she carefully lifted a hat from it's resting place. It was a beautiful straw hat with a wide brim and a bright yellow ribbon tied in a bow. Ana inspected the hat and placed it on her head making sure her ears fit, a common problem with hats for the Miqo'te, and smiled as it fit nicely. Ana tried a few hats on finally deciding on one. It had a beautiful wine-red ribbon and an over sized bow with tails that hung off the edge of the large brimmed hat. As Ana gave the coins to the merchant she heard a familiar voice from a few stalls away. She thanked the merchant and started off in the direction of the familiar Lalafell's voice with her new purchase in hand. As Ana reached the stall she saw the familiar Lalafell finish haggling with a merchant and reaching for her coin purse. "Miss Adagio!" Ana said with a smile in her voice. "How nice to meet you here. Purchasing things for the cook are you?"
  4. E‘jusana was walking around the market in Limsa Lominsa with a large woven basket hooked in the crook of her arm as she looked for fresh fruits and vegetables for the day. As she perused the stalls brimming with a rainbow of goodies something caught her eye. It was a flyer pinned to the corner post of a stall it read Ana tugged the parchment from the nail and looked up at the sun and nodded to herself with a sparkle in her eye. The sun was still low, it was a beautiful morning as the sun tried to break through the remaining fog. Ana had wanted to make sure she went shopping before the crowds got bad and the food was still fresh. This sounds exciting, I don’t have any plans today and I love hearing new music. Hmm, I wonder who’s playing as her thought trailed off a smile crept upon her silent lips. I have time to get there before nightfall if I leave soon. Ana finished gathering a few more items for the journey to Camp Bronze Lake, placed the items into her basket, and walked out of the city to where her icy blue, feathered friend was waiting for her. Ana gently petted her feathered friend’s neck as she gave a fresh krakka root to the beautiful chocobo and said “Are you ready for a little trip, Terra?” The chocobo was excited to see the treat and make a happy noise as she gobbled it down. Ana packed everything into a satchel hanging on the chocobo’s flank, re-checked the ties holding her bow and quiver in place under a flap of cloth on the other side of the saddle and then mounted the bird in one graceful motion. “Alright then, let’s go!” she said with a big smile. Ana arrived at Camp Bronze Lake without much trouble and made good time considering the increased number of attacks on travelers recently. Since moving to the area a few months ago Ana was proud of herself for making sure she got good information from the locals on how to travel the safest and fastest routes to surrounding areas of her new home in the Mist. She sighed in relief upon safe arrival and started to look for a place to wait for the concert.
  5. Oh, fun! Ana would love this! Will you be online around 8pm EST today?
  6. If you're still looking for a place to call home we at the Midnight Moogle are searching for wait staff. Hope you look us up! =D http://ffxiv-roleplayers.com/showthread.php?tid=9706
  7. I am a lover of ballads and songs I hear them and sing them all the nights long I come to the tavern, and what lies in store But a tune that I’ve heard so often before? Its sound is familiar, it’s stuck in my head Swashbuckling adventures of courage and dread Great ships prowling oceans, their masts at full sail Blown about as if caught in a great storm of ale Sit down for a drink, and forget your sorrows! Let all your concerns disappear 'til tomorrow! For many a tankard and story have spilled At Momodi's Adventurer's Guild. You must be a pirate, for this rhyme you have stole From nautical minstrels, in part or in whole Don’t try to deny it; your breath you will waste Though I must commend you for excellent taste So I’ll keep my mouth shut and I’ll join in your tune (For plagiarized verses won’t go away soon) I grab my lass Nancy and sit at a bench For in all of this tavern there’s no finer wench Sit down for a drink, and forget your sorrows! Let all your concerns disappear 'til tomorrow! For many a tankard and story have spilled At Momodi's Adventurer's Guild.
  8. I'm new to RPing but I'd love to have a new buddy. I'm usually on around 8pm EST, I might hit you up one of the next few days (and you're more than welcome to send me a tell if I don't because I may have forgotten >.<). Ana is a gentle, kind Miqo'te that is usually found tending to her garden or working her waitress job at a bar called the Midnight Moogle.
  9. Looking off into the distance, what will Ana see?
  10. E'jusana came on an airship but a few short hours ago on her first trip to the busy and full city of Ul'dah. She had been extremely excited for this trip for quite some time now and had been saving every last gil she had to make the voyage. She had spent most of her time so far wandering around sightseeing in the Gold Court but finally made her way towards the nearest staircase to visit the ever talked about "Quicksand." As soon as she stepped out into the streets there were people everywhere! Ana looked left and right taking everything in with wide, excited eyes and a huge smile on her face. Ana jumped back a bit as she heard a huge explosion sound out and echo though the streets. When she looked around to see what may have caused it, a large group of people caught her eye. With an excited expression she bounded off to see what was happening, not wanting to miss a single thing As Ana made her way to the center of the crowd to see what all the commotion was about, there she saw a dashing Lalafell standing on the rim of a fountain giving a dynamic speech: She clapped and jumped up and down exuberantly as he ended his speech cheering him on when all of a sudden the man was right in front of her saying placing his linkpearl-on-a-stick near Ana's mouth waiting for her to answer. Ana's eyes grew even wider with excitement as she opened to her mouth to answer "Oh, Mr. Kalrath, everything! This is my first time visiting but I just love the hustle and bustle and excitement of everything as soon as I walked off the airship! And you! I love you!" as she ended Ana planted a huge kiss on the cheek of the dashing Kali Kalrath, made a happy squeal and skipped off down the street to see more of the city.
