Haha, yeah I don't blame you for that X3 I'm kinda doing the same thing a little (while still on the lookout for an opportunity appropriate for me to jump in on~) There's especially a certain part you unlock that'll allow you to find parties and such so more reason to go around and leveling >w<; Yus. Getting involve in scenes always seems to be the most challenging! ;~; So anxious when it comes to just approaching someone and being all "yo~" It doesn't help I haven't 100% cemented her personality, but all things with time and RP. Indeed.... I think >w< Yes... dat anxiety... Of course, all that's a thing of a past once the ice has broken... It's definitely a matter of finding that grove and getting used to how people act and such... It's interesting to see different things and different interactions when you're just in one place people-watching! Ah I see. Yes yes, also helps to read up lores and other characters for inspiration too, along with other things like in the forums that'll help too. In fact, I believe I saw one that says character development under Resources over at the front page. I never really looked into it and I'm not that familiar with where everything is but it might benefit you more than me maybe! >w<

Hello! Some of you may have already seen me on here. I fear my long-winded intro prevented people from really responding so I'll try to be brief: Since Mabinogi, I've been looking forward to an online game such as this and getting to make some memories with the game and with the people within the community.... thus, I do hope to get along with everyone here! >w< I'm pretty familiar with rping, but looking to gain more experiences in the process as well. My two characters, where more details can be found in their wiki page provided in my signature and down below here, are: Alexander Gomez, a midlander Hyur. & Wa'gozah'a Nunh, a Keeper Miqo'te, reared by his Keeper mother in a Seeker environment. I hope this summarized re-intro will be more approachable for others... though I'm sorry for this since, well, I don't wanna scare people off from my wordiness. So please, don't be afraid to approach me, I am friendly overall and I do try to make it easy on you to bear with me. Let's work together, okay?! X3 Until then~! P.S. And yes, Kingdom Hearts is not only my favorite and main or background inspiration for some things, but it's also how I became invested in FF and, ultimately, right here in FFXIV! =3

TT^TT I'm gonna update my post, prior to finishing up my wiki page of both of my characters, to somehow include some sort of summarized version so that I don't scare people away (and maybe get more responses that way~). But thank you! I'll keep it to mind! >w< Ah, well... Kingdom Hearts and the whole character creation concept influences me to, in a sense, recreate a persona version of me into the universe ^~^; (Lol, really? Used to have an alias, Twilight Dreamer, but you got the Twilight Saga series and MLP as the tools used to make fun of it... And even with Ligardian [Light + Guardian], it seems to still be made fun of in some way... And if people don't know how they make fun of Ligardian... then I'm not telling... >w> )

Hi! Hahaha.... *sighs* Sorry... I guess I did say too much that it probably overwhelms people from reading it VwV (That's probably why I didn't get much of a welcome here... That and/or I'm just that unknown or it was because I made this thread while it was very, very late... ) Hmm okay, I assume as much... I'll probably have to find a way to take a screenshot from the game and then use it onto wiki... I better get use to being friendly with that print+screen button for sure >w<; Hehe... I hope so too, Problem may be me saying too much though. I've been learning tricks such as summarizing myself if needed but it requires effort, that's for sure. I'm sure I'll be fine but I confess that I still get nervous about having to consider such things for the convenience of other people... VwV Right now, I'm trying to set up the character wiki page for my two characters before I log in as one of them... Although looking at the time, my cousin will be ready by then so that we can do that Tam-Tam dungeon place on my character in Couerl... But at least it'll be ready when I have time to log in to Balmung!

EDIT: Made a wiki page for my characters! They can be found now in my signature and here. *inhales* Phew.... Okay... This is gonna be wordy but... Here it goes.... Hi! Was one of the lucky ones that waited around till the end of maintenance to join in on Balmung. Ever since I got the new alienware laptop for christmas, I've definitely been looking forward to getting more integrated with the MMORPG scenes and all those other games I've always wanted to play... But never got to because my comp sucks ^^; My only experience with mmos and online games in general, aside from this one site that was set as The World from .hack, are Mabinogi, the first one I ever played and one whom I've had many strong memories and experiences in, and Elsword, which was a nice game, even though it may not be everyone's cup of tea, to get into considering how it surprised me when it showed itself playable and, thus, gave me an excuse to get back into online gaming for a bit! X3 Besides that, I can finally say that I can add FFXIV into the list of games I'm aiming to play... Including GW2, S4 league... umm and some others I intend to look into... As well as to return to Mabinogi and Elsword... Granted, some games may get dropped though but FFXIV is definitely one that won't be dropping anytime soon ;3 The memories and experiences that I shared in Mabinogi were and are why I've taken such a strong liken to online games... And I do look forward to gaining more memories and experiences through this game and community too! I actually went and search up if FFXIV had an RP community and I see, obvious, that it does! I originally started in Couerl since it's where my cousin and his friends are playing but, alongside keeping my character there, I intend to join here for rping and join Distant world with Sambonz and company, the people responsible for my interest in FFXIV in the first place, back in version 1.0! (Never got to play it though.) I don't really see myself as a top-tier, top-notch kind of roleplayer. I'm not perfect... but I've had a couple of experiences roleplaying... Though I confess that they've mostly been on the ERP side more than story-wise... I still will be open to such 18+ kind of plays but I've been feeling a little depraved of the story side of things so I'm hoping this will change things up for me X3 I consider myself to be in the middle in regards to how I rp. Sometimes I'm just taking it easy with a bit of OOC chatter... or maybe I'm really feeling it and I focus a bit more onto my responses. Either way, I do aim to please and make it enjoyable for everyone involved, while trying to cooperate or if I ask something so that I understand. ...Although there's also that laziness that can come in or disinterest in general... but what I mean to say is that whatever that ends up happening, please bear with me! It'll take me time to learn how things work around here after all.. such as the appropriate way(s) to chat IC-wise and OOC-wise... and how people are able to emote different actions like if they're one of the game's emotes except they're totally different! ...And even though there's the forums and such to help people like me, I know that, it's likely that true experience will have to come from actually doing it, you get what I mean? >w<; There's 2 characters that I intend to focus on here in Balmung..... My Hyur male midlander, Alexander Gomez: Yes, I'm sorry... He does bear my actual name so there is self-insertion involved with this one.... That and you have a being in the FF lore that is named Alexander... and it also means the Defender of Mankind...I chose the name for sentimental reasons and also because I do like to self-insert myself when I can, which is why I dig games that allow you to create your own character! So, Alexander, in this case, is a wide-eyed adventurer who basically has a blank slate in his story ready to be filled in by the experiences that await him in the world of Eorzea... Therefore, this character is planned to be play a little more lighter, but will still will have some moments of getting into character. My Miqo'te male Keeper of the moon, Wa'gozah'a Nunh: Compared to Gomez, this character actually has a bit of backstory. He's supposed to be young-ish looking but oh well >.<; His father was a Seeker and his mother a Keeper. She ended up joining with the wolf tribe of the seekers to be a part of his father's harem. Gozah's a shy and quiet boy and comes off as preferring to be by himself, though he does not reject the company of his mother. The seeker tribes, particularly the females, seem to accept him well despite being born physically a keeper into a seeker tribe... In fact, his looks make him off to be quite an exotic sight because of it... However, some of the other Nunhs didn't take to well on the idea of him garnering the attention of the females (even when the poor male finds himself tormented with those who insist in getting in the way of his solitude). One day, an incident occurred between one of the Nunh and Gozah. Although it would have turned out that he would be forgiven, Gozah was still disturbed when the incident involved some strange magical power that burst from himself and repelled the Nunh bully away. His mother suggests that he goes out to the world to be able to learn how to use his powers. His mother gives him a staff, a keepsake of a fellow Thaumaturge male miqo'te sweetheart of hers whose life was lost while she was unable to have been there to save him.... And so, in search of strength and reluctantly taking up the title of Nunh, he goes out into the world of Eorzea... As you can read, I have at least a rough idea over Gozah's backstory... I hope it's enough, so far, to peak anyone's interest... Same for my Hyur being one with a blank slate X3 I plan to go to the wiki page to make their character page.... I can try to tweak up their info on there but.... I really will have to take my time on it... Looking up inspiration, what template to use, what info to use.... A question: Does it matter what clothes they wear?... I ask because I'm not so savvy with clothes and such and it's not like i have an established garment for any of those two either... But if it's acceptable to at least have a pic of them even in their character-specifics when, ingame, they may not wear any of that at all then... I won't mind running it like that then >x<;;; Umm, just to wrap this up, I do have a lot to say sometimes... and sometimes, I do not. Please don't let it intimidate you though, I like to consider myself a friendly guy... Albeit, pervy-minded... and I do have my random, derpy moments... Sometimes, I may even come off serious... But let me tell you this: I'd say it'll be better, and easier on me, if I'll just show you how I am if you're interested in talking to me =3 Go ahead, unless I'm busy or afk, I'm approachable! ^^ One last note: I do have college... Unfortunately, I got some in the evening... Particularly at least one on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Just an fyi since I need to make sure to balance my school, gaming, etc. >.< Well I think that's about it about me.... I hope to meet with some of you ingame! I'll try to find some time and way to work on the wiki page when I get up from bed... Yeah, I was trying to gather as much of my bearings and up so late with the research and the details and such that my headache's telling me that it wants sleep >.< As much as I'd like to get right into my main (Hyur) right now, I, the player, need to rest....
