  1. If it wasnt, I am tottaly using it now.
  2. From my understanding of DRK questline is its about tapping into this Abyss. But its powers based off emotions, and dark emotions work, but positive emotions are more powerful. DRKs find Charges and become their protectors. Seeing as hes training to be a samurai maybe he finds a lord or lady he wants to protect. And to match his DRK side you have going maybe more then a Samurai of Honor hes a Ronin who forges his own Honor?
  3. Dwarfs yes! Give me a game with good dwarfs in it and I will solidly play a dwarf! Diggy diggy hole!
  4. How is that surprising these days?! Honestly, the only times I see that happening is when they had intentions to develop something IRL. I did get rather stunned when I found a few guildies on WoW were women playing guys because they played it pretty solidly, but it's often best to assume the chick is a dude until proven otherwise, and even better so if one has a more lecherous mindset of trying to progress something IRL and instead just trying to be your friend. Personally I simply refer to anyone by their characters gender until I hear them in voice. Perhaps my quote there didn't have enough background. I was referring to a time in Tera when I played an Elin. For a few months I was in a guild but didn't use voice chat. So when I joined everyone was surprised. Not that its fun to do it intentionally but its amusing and satisfactory when you can play a character well enough of the opposite gender.
  5. I tend to play female characters more for writing and aesthetic purposes. For writing I just find it more fun to create a story with a heroine. My males tend to need a very specific criteria in-game before I play them. I like the White/silver hair mysterious and strategic warrior god mode types so for RP its not very good Aesthetically females just get more attention to their clothing I feel. Most of the time ERPers or RPs that become more mature get miffed if they find out im a male playing a female. I feel it doesn't matter though, as we are both writers creating a fictional setting. I will say is hilarious to play a female character and then join a voice chat later and hear everyone's jaws drop. "YOUR A DUDE!?"
  6. Cocotsu Cotsu is a student of all things aetherical. Would love to have them meet and throw ideas between each other =3:tonberry:
  7. That... actually jives pretty well. The Coven currently is trying to offload a bunch of relics and artifacts from Amdapor from an earlier (*cough*Talan*cough*) event and encounter heisting them from a convoy. Entirely possible that Coco has heard a rumor in the underworld about where this stuff is currently. In that case, she could visit the tavern and order the bloody mary and inquire in the back rooms about arranging a purchase!
  8. Coco has done her fair share of delving into the underworld to obtain spells or tomes that pique her interest. I would love to build more connections to people who might have relics or have heard of her own acquisition of otherwise not permitted tomes. :tonberry:
  9. I have struggled with this myself as my character is attempting to study and master all forms of aetherical manipulation as she calls it instead of magic. I started her as an Arcanist since in that area I feel as there is the most room from creation of our own spells. From all I have learned it would seem that Arcanum, given enough knowledge and time, can do just about anything. The drawback is that you need to have the Arcanum inscribed on something, typically the codex's they carry around, so unlike THM and CNJ who can just wish the magic to appear the ACN has to have it pre-ready. This leads to having to predict what you need and thus a decent drawback to what otherwise I consider a rather OP form of magic. on CNJ and THM I find are much closer to each other them either school wishes to admit and is more based off of what each ones ethos is more then what they can and can not do. CNJ was formed in order to commune with the Elements and allow them to live in the Shroud. In this they have a more symbiotic relationship with things and tend to shy away from destructive magics so not to upset the Elements. Still the need for destructive spells exist to deal with dangers in the shroud so they use skills that dont cause much harm to nature, ie. Wind, Earth, Water. THM on the other hand was originally used in the preparations of the dead for Nald'Thal and was later found that its powers were great in the battlefield. So quiet early they were focused on destruction so we see the use of Fire, Lighting, Ice. I personally dont think there is restrictions to what a CNJ and THM can wield just more of what they prefer to use due to their alignment to the schools Ethos. What a hedgemage could do would be just about anything within reason. This topic is one of fascination for me and I love to discuss it so anyone feel free to PM me or continue here.
