The Sword and Spear is a Roleplay Free Company in Final Fantasy 14, based around the Adventurer's Guild and it's Leve-quest system. All members of the Free Company are also members of the Eorzean Alliance's Adventurer Guilds - and are granted access to special grade Leve-quests based on contracts negotiated on behalf of the Free Company. Is there somewhere I can read up about the theme a little more? Easily, Friendo! A tab has been created with a condensed history on how the Free Company came to be, how it operates, how to get in contact with it in-character - and other easily taken hooks to get involved and play video games with us! Roleplay is super cool but man it gets old, I like all video games! Well, Friendo that may or may not be me, Madison Allard, typing questions to myself in an effort to make this easy, clear, and concise... I have news for you! - likes video games too, and our interest doesn't begin and end at Roleplay. We also like to suck in Savage content once in awhile, slap other PvE things - jump into other games like Overwatch and cheer each other on while our 5 Torbjorn team smothers each other in finely tuned beard hairs. a little update on the state of ERP: NEO last i checked, we are sitting about 70 odd out of 128 capacity, and it's getting active! which is nice i'm not saying it was not active before, it was totally active the entire time the ENTIRE time puhlease believe anyways, we are still recruiting, please contact any of the leadership of the ls written in the page above, - we're getting active enough for erp neo to contemplate making a discord channel for it's membership (memebership) for any members of erp reading this, encourage friends and rp partners to give us a shot - communities thrive when it's representitves make good impressions - i'm basically telling you all to either meme more or meme less then tell them to join you in erp, where i will invite them into a channel titled EXCELLENT ROLEPLAY : NEO-VERSE and make them feel disappointed that it wasn't the erp they wanted but the erp they needed!

I haven't gotten around to it yet in FFXIV, pretty much because... well - there is a game to play. And It's super fun. Yes Sir. I like it. Anyways, I'm going to try and run this event in a simple and straight forward manner. In another game I used to play named Champions Online, every event page came with a little Sign-Up sheet in the lower opening post, to limit how many people could show up - a way of not over loading the DM/GM. I'm going to give that a shot here. I usually let the RP spell out the details of the job, but the nutshell outline of the event is this. Red Duck, my character, is going to pirate some stuff. He needs other people, of a loose moral compass, to help him pirate some stuff. I'll be running it as an event for five people - in a very Final Fantasy way. The BCG [black Chocobo Gang FC] did this for an event we did for ourselves and it was A+. Everyone stood in a line, we blasted FF battle themes from all the games, did little step forwards - emoted, did a /random - then stepped back. Genius, right!? I know!! The rolling system for this event will be stolen borrowed nah, STOLEN, from Warren's Grindstone rolling rules! I'm entirely open to doing pre-event RP to give people who have signed up a better anchor into the event, as well. When will this event take place though, Red Duck/ DrDucker /Johnny? I am glad you asked! - My initial plan is to host it on APRIL 13th, Wednesday, 6pm PST -8. Which gives plenty of time for anyone who wishes to get pre-event RP done, done! my character is just edgy and dark gosh okay? killing really has a different impact based one the society you come from - and lets be honest, Eorzea is a terrible, terrible place. where people were fed to the Primals so the Company of Heroes, while fighting, could remain untainted with all that though, i agree there is long term effects that should be present in character development with characters that kill - but i don't see it as something that must be all encompassing - just vague and warping to answer the question though, my character is a monster - more or less built to be an antagonist. death effects him as the ultimate test - your alive if you're doing it right, dead if your not - the arrogance angle for me
