I am on my phone when I saw this, so apologize in advance if my ideas were already suggested If the intent is to raise Gil then these ideas might not work that good, but if it's about Rping, having some fun and meeting others , then here are my thoughts Story telling event, where each person that entered gets to tell a tale while sitting around a campfire , or some other places suitable . There is a lot that can be done with this, allows people to tell a bit about themselves or some other event they might or might not have been a part of. People can sit back and listen and enjoy , cry or rally behind the person (s) telling the tale. The other idea would be something along the line of a walking spooky ghost tour. This would require FC support to be tour guides and also perhaps guests that show up to act as part of the story . We had a lot of fun with this one in TSW around Halloween. We kept the groups to ten people or less and used lore to build our stories . Neither of these would bring in Gil, but they both facilitied role play . Quick edit for third idea Why not hold a market day , once every other month where crafters could sell their items ? A housing area would work good for this, crafters of all types can show up and see their own stuff.ight not ne theist amazing thing, but I would enjoy this just for the IC interaction that can take place .

People I want to meet to rp with.. I would not know where to actually start with this one, I enjoy just random Role-play. So anyone that attempts or makes an effort at Role-play goes on my list.

Ok so , I set up a twitter account for me , will mess around with it for a bit to see if this works twitter.com/KhloeMoshroca that is me on twitter now. Its not hard to use twitter, basically you just follow people, take them by following them and using a @xxxx in your message, they will get an alert letting them know they were. I was a bit twitter ignorant when I first used it, but everyone starts somewhere. Hardest thing is to get your message in the limited characters, buts its suppose to be short quick messages. anyway follow me if you have one, and i will add you back

The way they did it was, if you wanted something posted about you. You sent them a email or a DM via twitter. Every few days they would release a series of tweets as if this was what was being said on the streets. would love to see what other people thing about it as well.

I think this is a great idea, but had a thought . I use to play in another game that used Twitter to communicate among groups . Something like this would work even better if there was a mass media outlet for people to connect to. Only way I could see using twitter would be as if it were a pearl to talk to others on, but something like this would word great using twitter as a means to send out information. Thoughts ?

I enjoy playing the under powered troupe as well, sometimes not getting the meaning of things, while always trying to do her best. I have found it balances well with a lot of different RP groups , helps people bond , and makes for fun RP stories later on.

I enjoy the character that tires to better themselves over time , myself. I was out questing this week, when I ran into a group rping about the weekly hunt. Amazing , conversation going on as the attempt to look for their intended target. One of them notices me, and asks if i care to join them. Khloe is not that skilled IC but she says sure. I follow along , riding my chocobo with them until we drew some agro from a nearby creature. SorryI forgot what it was, but it was not really something threatening TBH. they go about IC attacking it. So khloe goes to help, daggers drawn she moves around, attempting to spin and slice at it. misses completely, nearly lops of part of her tail and falls to the ground. She stands back up , brushes herself off, in time to watch them kill the beast. that is khloe for now.. in time.. she will get better. it might say lvl 50 ninja.. but not ic Khloe

Some of the events hosted here , that take place within the game encourage people to meet newer people. i suggest trying a few of those out. It is a good way to network and learn other Rpers.

I am going to chime in here for a few , because I see a lot of great advice being given here but there are also a few things that perhaps I either missed or no one thought of. Sometimes while Roleplaying I get a tell from a friend, sometimes more then one. I get distracted by it, so i check to see if the person I am Roleplaying with has posted. This goes as well for when I am sitting around with a larger group of people, same approach I am looking to see if they replied if not, I have a few seconds to maybe answer a question a friend asked, someone in my FC or one of the LS I am in . Does it always happen no ? but I have done it so I know it can happen. The best advice though is a sending of a OOC tell/whisper to some in the group , to let them know you are trying to break in to the conversation. Do this and wait for several minutes. WHY might you ask ? Because sometimes people spend a minute or two typing a reply to a conversation going on. You might be trying to break in, but they are stuck waiting for a reply before they can even reply to yours. Are their cliques , yes its natural actually. I tell people I am RPer friendly all the time, and if you see me and I am walking by or hanging out then attempt to interact. I tend to hang back a bit from Large public area's because keeping up with the chat scrolling across my screen can be hectic at times. When that happens I do miss stuff. I wish there was a line break between peoples posts, that alone would make things better for me at least. I will say if your having a hard time breaking in still , go to some of the RP events posted here on this website. Tavern night every Thursday has been an amazing event. There is also a date auction event coming Saturday (shameless plug in because I am up for auction. ) , put yourself up for auction, it will get some interaction going, and let people know you are out there to Role-play . just don't give up and you will find Role play.
