  1. Hello everyone, I've never posted anything like this and I'm really shy so please be patient with me and I'll try not to ramble. I roleplay a Dark Knight Miqo'te named Claire Harte (Unfinished RPC Library Entry) who is in desperate need of a mentor or someone to give her guidance in general life. Although Claire is good in combat having been raised aboard a pirate ship from a young age she has next to no life skills and is not equipped for day to day life since outside of combat she acts like an emotionally fueled child. I don't necessarily need someone to guide her in combat but instead someone who will teach her how to live and survive, be a mentor to her and such. I'm definitely willing to talk out specifics, since I've been roleplaying this character for over a year now it's hard to fit everything in a reasonably sized post. I appreciate any and all inquiries and i hope this post was detailed enough. RPC Library Entry:
  2. Claire Harte Battle intro: Forces Victory: Time to carry on. Defeat: You...bastard! Assist: Get out of my way!!! Taunt: *stands silently looking at her opponent with a blank expression* Reacting to Taunt: I hear their call every day... Flee: Why am I running... Am I still truly a coward? Reacting to Flee: I expected more from a primal! Tie: Cannot...stop! Perfect Victory: You're not ready... go back to wherever it is you call home.
  3. - How does your character deal with killing? She drinks and tries to act like it doesn't bother her. - How did your character feel after his/her first kill? Claire was forced by her captors as a child to lure civilians to be captured by pirates and taken to Sahagan. Counting that as her first time killing Claire was devastated and traumatized. - Does your character mull over it later on? (Exe. The nightmares) Claire will often sit and remember the lives of those she has taken, when this happens she usually starts drinking.
  4. Waiting until a maintenance ends is the most reliable way to get on the server from what I've seen. I had friends try to join Balmung to play with me and they all got so frustrated. I have to say it took me a weekend to get on Balmung and it was well worth the effort.
  5. Until Heavensward I'm basically just grinding poetics and WoD gear for my bard which I just got to 50. I'm also working on getting Blood for Blood so I can try to maximize Bard DPS. I've put relics on hold until the expansion and other than just grinding poetics I need to finish the last bit of the main story.
  6. I joined this forum today which I'm really excited about. I think that's a pretty good thing!
  7. "I'll protect you." "Why aren't you wearing pants?"
  8. Hello there, I'm new to this forum though not so new to FFXIV. I've been playing on Balmung for almost a year now. A fellow company member pointed me to this forum when I was lamenting over the seeming degradation of Ul'dah lately. I must say I'm really happy that this forum exists and I am really excited to meet all kinds of new roleplayers! A little about me: I'm some 24 year old Canadian girl who spends a lot of her time in game. I am pretty shy and timid but despite that i do my best to socialize and come out of my bubble whenever I can! Although walking up to strangers and initiating RP is still something that i find pretty difficult but I'm working on it! A little about Claire: I roleplay a wandering Miqo'te who is very much learning about the world and finding her place or there-lack-of in Eorzia. She's strong willed but incredibly naive and often finds her curiosity getting her in trouble. Due to the nature of her upbringing Claire tends to put herself first and can at times be fairly selfish. She hates being rescued or protected but is not the strongest of adventurers though she aims to change that in any way she can. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope that through this site I'll be able to have more roleplays than i can possibly handle.
