A bit surprised as the robed man who approached him appeared before him suddenly, he regained his composure as the man motioned towards the circle. Uruvion walked forward towards the chanting men, keeping his wand at the ready and reciting spells in his head as he approached.

Uruvion approached the robed men slowly, taking the small wand from his waist and preparing for what could happen. His eyes widened a bit as he looked to the child, not being able to understand the chanting or ritual that was taking place.

Ok, first they say this: What if I bought the old version of FFXIV, and I already have characters on my account, but I'm looking to get the in game pre-order and collector's edition items. If I pre-order the collector's edition, then register the pre-order and collector's edition codes to my existing account, will I be able to get all the in game items? You will receive the pre-order items, but the registration code for the Windows collector's edition cannot be used with a pre-existing Windows service account. To receive the in game items for the collector's edition, please use the digital upgrade. Early access is a pre-order bonus for those purchasing FFXIV:ARR. Players who purchased the original collector's edition are also required to pre-order FFXIV:ARR. **The collector's edition bonus items are included in the product code, so any registration of the product code to a specific service account would include all the bonus items solely to that service account. Pre-order bonus item codes however are separate and can be registered to any service account. I need to get clarification on this. I submitted a support ticket and I'll be calling customer support tomorrow. I guess I could just start fresh with a new account. The only thing I would be missing are garland goggles and a level 14 archer.

I got my digital CE, pre-order bonus and I have my preorder goggles from 1.0

This is more for description on a forum based RP or possibly text based RP, as it can happen instantly in-game. but my curiosity in this is how will characters change jobs from one to another? Example: If my character(WHM) was on his ship, and needed to fight unarmed, would he simply reach into his pocket, pull out two cesti and 'transform' ala sailor moon into a monk with full gear or would he rush into the cabin and emerge a monk, like superman? Or Maybe more 'bleach'ish and change under the cover of light/smoke? How would you do it? What's appropriate in this situation?

I know we're all excited about the pre-order options for ARR, but take it slow! The default order platform is for the PS3 version of the game. Don't just hit 'submit' as soon as humanly(or miqo'tely) possible! The other options are on the lower right of the screen in the "Also available in:" section. Choose wisely.

Im also excited for the 1.0 player perks. I will be pre-ordering the ARR CE when I get home today for the extra items. I remember playing when the game first realeased and then picking it up again when it was $14.00 and free to play. It was still disappointing, so I stopped playing again. I am really excited for ARR and getting to experience it with an rp community. I was looking at my SE account page and I had a pair of goggles on my account, though I cant remember what those are from.

Name: Uruvion Firelight Race: Duskwight Elezen Profession: Captain of a small ship which sails with the Knights of the Barracuda, Pirate in his off hours. In-game classes: WHM, BRD(?), PUG(?) Height: A bit short for an elezen Body: Slender with some muscle tone. Hair: Shoulder length, Silver with one side longer on one side of his face. Eyes: Light blue or silver. Skin: Tan Markings: (haven't seen character creation options) Clothing style: White mage garb when he is in battle or on his ship. When he's in town he always wears a wide-brimed black hat, tan cloak with a black sleeveless shirt underneath, brown forearm-length gloves, baggy navy blue pants and brown boots that reach mid-calf. Other: He is effeminate and strikingly beautiful. He always wears a silver cross around his neck, square rimmed glasses, and always keeps a gold ring in his pocket. His traveling attire looks similar to this, but different colors, and his hair is shorter. Also missing the hat/glasses: His hair is similar to this. Houston, we have a problem! Those of us who want to upgrade from 1.0 to either the standard or collectors edition of ARR... is there a way to get the pre-order bonuses by digitally upgrading or do we have to buy a new copy of the game to have 'pre-order' status?
