Once I get my character created I will post a pic, would love for a picture of him in pirate gear. No offense to the many drawers here but I love Cass's drawing the best, Gerik, you're second and still awesome.

Once Urvion is at the kitchen he could smell an aroma of exotic spices. "Well, talk about looking before you leap." Eadmund begins to pour the soup into two bowls and walks over to Uru to hand him one, Eadmund then begins to sip out of the bowl. "Sorry, no utensils." "Have you once thought as to why those culstist are free right now and not still locked up? This group have friends in very high places." He continues to sip the soup until it's all gone.
-
"Well alright then, you're in luck because I happen to be an excellent cook." He says has he begins to take out some pots, cutting boards, and turning on the stove. Eadmund hears Uruvions comment about the child, as he is there cutting some vegetables up rather professionally he begins to talk again. "If you think you can return the dead to the living, you might be a bigger fool than I thought. Tell me, why were you there in the first place, what business did you have with those cultist?"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=hPogSTwUREM#t=3996s :Edit: Well then, the actual youtube video and the link I have provided are showing completely different live streams, weird. Anyways, just go to youtube and type in Square Enix Presents Live E3 2013 Day 1, they are throwing random people in to fight Ifrit.

The PC will always be my console of choice but I do like a lot of the game coming out for the PS4 which I absolute can't wait for such as The Division, Destiny, FFXV, WatchDogs, and well, I would like to get Lasy of Us but don't want to get a PS3 for it when PS4 will be compatible.

The Hyur takes Uruvion to the lower parts of Limsa and into a very small house. "We can rest here for the night, let things die down for a bit and lay low." he tells him. "My name is Eadmund by the way and you're welcome. " he says as if looking for a thank you. Eadmund goes into what apears to be a bedroom and changes his clothes into something a bit more clean. "You hungry?" He asks.

IC: A news post was put up on the bulletin in the adventures guild as well as other guilds and shops about the murders of three robed cultists and that of a young child. It goes on to say that it appears the men were legally and harmlessly recruiting the child when a couple outsiders came and just started the massacre them, a trustworthy witness tells. We urge all citizens to be on the lookout for anyone suspicious and to report it immidently. OOC: I didn't to much for this part and this will be the last one for a while. At this point I would like for the RP to take on it's own course in the RP thread for this story and in the game itself once it launches, I hope you enjoyed it and even more so hope you will join us in the thread "Investigation into the Runes" for some awesome RP.

I will be getting the PS4 most definently now.

To be honest, I have been waiting for a Final Fantasy to come out that would return the name to absolute greatness like it once was. When I watched that trailer I had a gut feeling XV might be the one to do it, of course I would much rather have the turn-based style like the series is supposed to have but you got to learn to adapt. To me the last real Final Fantasy game stopped at X, and I know many don't like X but it atleast was playable to the very end unlike X-2 and up for me. Well, that is my two cents. P.S. For some reason even though the titles keep dissapointing me the games always draw me back to atleast give it a try once more. -sigh-

I am looking forward to recreating my character because the one I had in 1.0 was bland, no backstory really, or personality. I am also looking forward to RP'ing with all of you again even though many I never RP'd with and the ones I did probally don't remember me. The best thing though is all the new content coming out with ARR and of course the beauty that is Eorzea.

Quick question, doesn't reading and writing kind of go hand and hand?

The Hyur runs to the Elezen and grabs him, interupting his spell, and yells at him to follow. "Get up and run you fool, many soldiers are coming this way, and trust me when I say they will not trust what you have to say."
-
As the spell is cast, everything around Uruvion begins to blow away except the robed men. The spell just seems to go right through them. As they get closer and raise their daggers to strike at Uruvion, one of them suddenely drops, his head flown far across and into the water nearby. Before the others could react another goes down and then another. Once that third robed man goes down the last one, the man that talked to Uruvion in the bar, vanishes. Once the dust settles you notice a rather young looking Hyur wielding a bloody axe, he is staring at you. The Hyur is wearing common clothing, now blood soaked, from the killing.

If anyone is for the most part new to RP itself, I would gladly mentor you. I love to teach new people how to RP, if anyone wishes to be mentored by me, by all means, just ask.
-
I will be willing to teach new roleplayers the ropes, of course not sure how much I can do outside teaching them what is geenerally acccepted RP and what isn't because my old character didn't really have any RP friends and wasn't even really known so I plan on making a new character. :Edit: Well, I can also show them how to engage randomly with other RP'ers so they can make friends easier.

Who was your main, mine was Vexcily from Crimson Ground.

Of course the event wouldn't be hosted right at the start of when ARR is released so more and more people can be involved in it and not just ones that already have characters with Gil. Another thing is, this event would not only be for socializing and finding new friends to RP with or even finding the right FC to join ICly, it would be to help out the FC's in being able to afford housing. Another idea is to put all the money made together, give it to someone in the community trustowrthy to hold onto and after that people can make donations when ever they want and we, the RPC, can buy one of the large houses shown in the live letter and make it a RP hotspot.

Sounds somewhat similiar to Sanctus Refero. Was quite fun too, they had a Military section and a Merchant section.

The closer Uruvion gets to the circle the more he might notice that the robed men begin to dissapear into thin air. One by one the men just blow to the wind like dust, the body however is still there. Uruvion might be close enough to realize that it is indeed the bloody corpse of a young child. Once that is noticed the robed man begin to again reappear, but this time forming a circle around Uruvion. The man from the bar speaks once more, "Now is your time to do your part in saving us all." Once he stops talking the other robed men draw daggers, there is four of them all together.
-
As Uruvion approaches, the same black robed man that talked to him at the bar appeared suddenely and without warning in front of him. "Ah, so you came, I expected you would. Now all the pieces are in place, shall we begin?" The robed motions with his arm to move on forward towards the circle.

The problem with using pretend money is the fact that the bidding could go on forever and I mean forever if two parties want the same person really really badly. I am not saying the people would be expensive unless the bidding gets that high. Another thing is that you don't have to be a bidder or someone being auctioned off to RP at the event, it's more of a social event idea mixed with possibly helping out all the RP FC's. We did this exact event in Aion and we had around 30+ people involved, not all bidders and everyone had ana amazing time doing it. We even had some people interested in RP come up and try to learn how.
-
Okay, so I have an idea in my head that will not only be fun, incourage open RP with all walks of life RPers, and help put some Gil in the FC coffers to help out with getting a house in the housing district of their choice. Man and Woman Auction. Basically you would volenteer to participate and you would be auctioning yourself off to whoever the highest bidder would be. The highest bidder could take you out on a date, have you help them on a quest, dungeon, or basically anything that you would be okay with. People would be paying with their actual Gil and will give it to the auctioneer. Once the auction is over the Gil would then be split up evenly between all the FC's that partipated. You do not have to be in a FC to participate and could just join for fun or even help out the other FC's. What do you guys think?

Well, ain't this a good bit of news.

Welcome to the forums Zyl and glad to see more people getting interested in RP'ing. I remember my first time trying it out, I was a nervous wreck due to my insecurities but after finding the right people it became the most fun I have ever had in video games. If you want to learn on what is proper RP and what is usually frowned upon I can tell you if you would like if there isn't a thread about it already here on the forums. Anyways, good luck and hope to see you in game when it releases.
