I would have liked to participate from the very beginning, but I can not regret, it is just a troubled word for me. If at all right now, I am glad to wait, as my patience will pay off in the long run, because I will finally be able to participate then, hopefully meet a lot of you in-game, provide custom events to the community, and hopefully form some close, friendly bonds. Though, I hope you won't assume this as a negative approach to your topic, but just as an expression of my own thoughts.

I'm usually free a lot of the time, so I suppose just supply a date and time along with a link. As for movies, I'm not one for romance movies unless there's some chaotic comedy involved, but most of the time I enjoy a good old movie such as the works of Alfred Hitchcock, or silent comedy like Chaplin... newer classic movies... I don't know, but perhaps my choices may be a bit of a drag.... so maybe something more recent... Bucket list Rocky horror picture show The last castle Gran torino Million dollar baby Shawshank redemption Monty python and the holy grail Kingpin Edit in: Any of the Naked Gun movies The untouchables League of extraordinary gentlemen Bad news bears (the original) Coming to America A league of their own Teen wolf Back to the future Terminator Reservoir Dogs Pulp Fiction Star wars Star trek Stargate Kill bill The good, the bad, and the ugly For a few dollars & for a few dollars more Hang em high Pale rider Two mules for sister Sarah Toro toro! The green berets Flight of the navigator Cocoon Folks! Hunt for Red October Taegukgi: Brotherhood of War Empire of the Sun The Shinning The Green Mile Das Boot Die Hard Blade Runner Scarface Up So many options... too many darn movies... and I need to stop here before I get ahead of myself, eh heh heh.... ^.^;

Isa'to: Loyal Ghost

Thank you kindly for your reply. (Please excuse any typos and such, my tablet likes to type in random letters.) The reason for the smudged look is due to an acrylic tool, but I am unsure of a... "polished" look, and honestly that gets me to think of photoshop, which I am not too... favoured of the "digital" look (I hope you know what I mean?). I've always liked traditional painting looks such as acrylics, water colors, or oil paintings, but overall, the art supplies can be very expensive in total, and I get a little irritated in wasting paper, which is why I switched to digital, and it can be a little.. awkward over pencil, especially if it doesn't have pressure sensitivity. (Does this mean I'll get into artistry as a career? Probably not, as it is a HIGHLY competitive field, but its still a hobby I enjoy committing to.) I do notice I try to remain to roots on both digital and paper, but I don't know if this is how I should actually be approaching them or if I should separate them, though I do notice shading is a little more complicated for me with pencil than it is with digital. Pencil starts from light to dark, where as I start from dark to light with digital. Main reasons I dislike pencil is that, smudging, the pressure I place on a pencil, and the constant erasing that leaves line traces, and it just makes it look horrible to me. It may be a sign of perfection, yes, probably, but I know I am the worst criticism I could ever get, and I know I can do better. Anatomy, is another line, its like I can see the human body, but my hands end up drawing something out of proportion, and it can get a little frustrating - I don't understand it, anatomy is something I have always found fascinating. Facial structure, out of all anatomy, is the face that's the most irritating for me. For some its hands and feet. I think one of my issues is making every character look different, and that subconsciously I'm thinking of the natural off balance of the eyes. (One being smaller than the other.) ________________ I'll be sure to ask more questions, as I do a little reflecting, but again, thank you for your generosity in sharing your opinion, I don't receive helpful critique very often and it makes me a little saddened.

Comparison, and concept out of boredom.....

For Isa'to, a Panther. Elusive, secretive... aggressive and powerful when needed.

I'll be sure to ask for a pearl when the time comes, and by the way: @ Edricane: Awesome choice of song, it definitely put a smile on my face.

Again, so many people with epic line art skills. *flops over and looks at hands* "Why you no draw good!" >.< Anyways, besides that, I look forward to reading/viewing more.

5/27/13 - Update: Two new tabs have been added.

I. Basic Info Characters: Isa'to Jyn. I'll probably only keep one character just as I have done for XI. Primary character: Isa'to Jyn. Linkshells: Regalius, Empyrean Divine, (future alliance Linkshells) Primary RP linkshell: Regalius II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy Casual to medium, but I do love to attempt to keep the RP as close to the story as I can. Admitting, I have a hard time jumping into RP if I'm not invited, I feel it's a little rude to just start RPing with a bunch of people already in the middle of Roleplaying (unless I was invited), but that's just my perspective, as I've always tried to remain courteous to others and respectful of their space. Views on RP combat and injuries: I'm completely fine with anything that's non-lethal, such as scratches, tackles, etc... but this could be just rough housing. As far as sustainable injury, I'd have to be asked how I feel about it, because it would probably affect my character's views in the future. (I'm sure if someone had a deep gash on their face they'd feel a little more "jumpy" or cautious afterwards if not the opposite - Irritated, angry, etc....) Views on IC romance: Eh... I'm a female playing a male character. That may be a little awkward, so probably only to close friends that I know that we both would feel ok about the subject. Unless, my husband one day decides to hop in, then either Isa'to is going to have a little soft spot for a female midlander hyur, or a female viera (if they release them in the future.) Only issue with that would be is, it'd be all backstory, my husband isn't really the RPing type. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Friendships, Family, etc... --- Absolutely I honestly love them, but I'd like to be noted if someone wants to be within Isa'to's circle, again this is a situation where it can affect anyone's story. Views on lore: I try to stick to the lore as much as I can, though if something is "made up" that can fit within reason that's fine from my view. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): Most of the time I'll use /say or /group for RP depending on the situation. I like to leave the /linkshell to OOC in case someone needs to ask some questions or something. [*] III. Other Info Country: USA Timezone: Central Contact info:Here, Regalius Website, Skype: Acistian.

@alothia - if you want me to attempt a full body drawing, let me know. As for anyone else, if you want any characters drawn let me know, because again, the practice is absolutely awesome.

Black Cherry Jubilee, but then again, I could just be hungry. https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQUaoI2MxSUpkvDWNy2fZjYytA_rGyQlBllnP5TDp72WjCSzTRDvw[/img] A fair balance of light and dark, with a hint of rum for maturity I suppose. (edit in: This is all diabetes waiting to happen. )

Grr, double post! Anyways! Trying out some different ways to draw things out.... still learning... still feel cruddy about it T.T Just open it in another tab to get a closer look. I believe I made the image 1028 x ? I forgot. I'm particularly happy with the nose... <.< It's the best nose I've drawn so far.

I'm in a debate over one song of many that I would like to use for a theme. I suppose out of the what you like, let me know which one sounds the most interesting. (It was so hard for me not to link the entire soundtrack  ) By the way, I linked them under the link button, and they still showed up as youtube videos. >.< So I apologize that it looks like a lot - eight songs. (There are around 40 songs to this one OST - Including different versions of one song)

More easily understandable, thank you.

Either way, it would present an... interesting challenge/story. I hope.... Originally, that quote had me a bit confused, but I had thought that the Miqo'te in general were one race, while just keepers and seekers were divided by cultural and religious outlooks, which provided an adaptation through their ways of living (i.e: markings, coloration, etc...). Perhaps maybe there was a miss interpretation of the words "race" and "clan"? Or maybe someone forgot to press the enter key and put it on its own line. Either or, the idea of how they suddenly popped up is a mystery, but I can only guess a reasonable explanation, but this shouldn't have much affect on his story line at least.... unless I'm going into extreme detail, and that could be a little overkill.
-
Thank you for clearing some of this up. As for the miqo'te situation, its more of a small curiosity, but also under the lines of evaluation and understanding. I've yet to play FFXIV, so the story line is a little more blurred without seeing the full picture in action, and allowing things to connect naturally. I'm not a heavy RPer, but I've always attempted to remain close to the story as much as I can, and at least try to have a back-story that won't be seen as "carelessly thrown together." I feel the need to put some effort into the creation. As deduction, I can assume he either traveled with his mother to Ul'dah or ran away from home/tribe, perhaps trying to escape the matriarch society and rules to live a life more to his favor. Being as the second birth son ('to), I am also debating if this relative (the first born) is alive, missing, or deceased to add another section to his story. I am fully aware that these are all my choices, but its really nice to get some opinions and see the outside looking in.

Welcome, I understand your need for RP, I've been rusty for quite a while, but very eager to jump back into it again. I haven't come across some decent RP for a while now, but none the less, I'm looking forward to all the future FFXIV RP that's going to happen, hopefully with a lot of cross-linkshell interaction. -squeeee- Sounds so exciting! :moogle: Anyways, I apologize for the off track --- *gives cookie* Welcome again!

Isa'to will be twenty-two at the start of ARR.

Just reviewing, but going back to the 5th letter: I've looked at the video a few times, but I can not see where Bahamut supposedly "missed" Ul'dah. I only remember seeing some debris from Dalamund falling and (near) hitting the side of it. This makes me wonder, because I have my "future" character a citizen of Ul'dah. Would it be even correct to say that this character had witnessed this event, but didn't actually participate in it? (wasn't in the game for 1.0) As I am attempting to write out his history. I have my character that was born in 1555 of the Sixth Astral Era, which at the start of ARR, would make him currently twenty-two years of age. (By what the Wiki says, and my calculations.) Also from what the wiki says, is that Dalamund fell 1572, which would make him seventeen. On another note, with the male Miqo'te being introduced, I wonder how this would be placed into lore, as once there were really only female Miqo'te running around. I'm just wondering how the sudden influx of males would have come about and if that's even plausible due to the "low" birthrate of male Miqo'te. Could there have been another migration from where the Miqo'te originally had resided? Did perhaps the original males "hidden" away decide to one day just go out and explore, and defy their roles within Miqo'te society and culture? Or maybe at some point, fate decided to say, "Hey, baby boom of Male Miqo'te" at some point in time? (but this could be irrelevant due to: ) (My character would be a male Keeper of the Moon by the way.)

Welcome, welcome!

Alrighty, I'll see about doing some drawing tomorrow or later tonight.
-
@ Kass: I may draw your character again. I'm a little unsatisfied with it, and I know I can do better. @ Alothia: Always eager for practice, so have no worries. Asking for art is helping me in the long run as far as custom replication and design. @ AeroCura: I was always told lighting and shading were my greatest strength when drawing, my weakness is line art and pencil work. I dislike having to draw with just pencil and paper due to the fact that I feel that a 11 x 7 in paper is too small and makes me feel like I have to scrunch everything down, and prevents me from making finer details. Not to mention it can be a bit difficult without proper lighting and smudge control. I do enjoy drawing with charcoal though, but again its a major pain without smudge control, and gets very messy. If you'd like, I could try and make you a tutorial around how I draw, if it can help you?
