I'm one of those who doesn't include the game's story arc into my own RP (except the big events, like the Calamity); so this has no direct impact or bearing on me. Seems like a fine event to me.

I'm relatively new to the community so I haven't gotten into any Free Companies or Linkshells yet. So we'll see! I kinda wanted to find one ICly instead of just joining one that seems good and making an IC reason for my character to join, you know? It shoots myself in the foot at the same time, though. I'm in RP withdrawl. Personally I think its a pretty cool idea! Would be nice to see more FC's/LS's recruit ICly, rather than OOCly world shouts. In the meantime, you could always start a bunch of Open RP threads here on the RPC! I think there is an RPC RP Skype channel too, but I could be wrong

Honestly, our FC's Skype RP has been as addicting as crack I haven't needed any other distraction

My warrior-esque Elezen kept getting told by friends to lighten up and take up some hobbies. Sooo.... she took to carving up fruit with her daggers into different shapes. She particularly like to make little fruit chocobos

We have about 10ish VERY active on skype RP (and when the game launches) with about 5 more pretty active. We have about 10 others who have shown interest who may join us once OB and launch hits. Ultimately, our goal is to create an environment where everyone feels very involved with the RP, and feels like part of the family. So there is no definite 'size' we are shooting for, but if we feel too big, we will close recruitment again. Hope that helps! =)

They develop new weapons, and maintain old ones. Thanks! I used your post on possible Miqo'te mating structures to figure out her family. And yes, though this character is faring better than her previous incarnations. At least she has a family in this verse! I'm... Not very nice to my characters. Being orphaned or having a single parent, or having lost loved ones is pretty common in literature, character creation, and backstories. It gives the reader and/or viewer a chance to immediately symphathise with the character. Sounds like you have a well-rounded Keeper here, and a lot to work with in terms of keeping the RP going strong. Best of luck to you!

As Aegon said; short but sweet. I sandwhiched it into a very busy weekend for me, because I wanted to give it a test run. Next time it will be better advertised, and run longer!
