It's been quite some time since I have played FFXIV so I am not really familiar with anything after the base game and have some lore questions I can't seem the answers to in the wiki's. Question 1: Are Viera welcomed in RP? The lore mentioned that they are banished from their homeland if they ever leave, so are they to rare to be considered seriously in Eorzea? Question 2: If Viera are fine for RP, is there anyway that she could be practicing astrology? Or would that be pushing it due to the Sharlayan's frowing upon teaching outsiders? Question 3: If there is no way a Viera could be an astrologian if following the lore, what races could be considered Sharlayan I could play? Or is astrology frowned upon like white and black mages are? Thanks in advance for the help! ^-^ Hopefully those questions make enough sense....lol

Hello all, I am coming back, and I may be starting character commissions due to extra time. But I have never done them before, and would like to know if you think or you would by art from me. Hey all, It's been a few months but I have finally been able to rejoin ffxiv. However, during my break my main character (Elza Fairhan) was abruptly absent in the RP world. I decided coming back however, that I wanted to play a character I wasn't so bored of, so I came up with a story to change her identity and fill in the random disappearance at the same time. But I need some new contacts to help me flesh out her new storyline, and if you think we can both help each other out for some great RP please let me know who your character is and let's meet up! To try and sum it up, she was kidnapped by a group of merchants who deal out mercenaries for money so she was basically a slave for their dirty work in exchange for keeping her other friend they kidnapped alive. Who this group is and how they are or connected to still needs to be filled out. However, eventually planning out an escape after some time planning, she was able to get away with her friend and some money to boot. But being free of them now needs some work again and she can't go back to what she used to do due to 1. Her identity change to keep herself and friends safe and 2. The fact that she doesn't believe she can practice Conjury anymore due to the things she has now done. And now she also wants to start planning to seek revenge on them one day and keep others safe from going through what he did as well. Nods in agreement to Xha'to as she looks down on the Lalafell tugging her robes. She gives a sheepish smile. " Well...the patient is over here. I will bring you over so you can take a look..." she says motioning towards the door in the room that Evangeline is fast asleep in. She quietly opens the door as the Lalafell follows, and she heads over to the Elezen woman. " We gave her a drought. Xha'to said it should keep her out for a long while, but if she does start to wake up, I can cast a light sleep on her again. " She looks curiously at the Lalafell as she lets him exam the patient.

Nods to Xha'to as other patients walk in. Surprised at how busy it has gotten, Elza looks over to Xha'to for instruction.

Elza nodded to Xha'to in agreement and went to taking care of Evalengline for the time being. Seeing the girl fast asleep, she propped her head over a pillow and lay a blanket over her to keep her warm. She went over them to gather the other supplies needed for Xha'to politely greeting the other woman walking in as she did swiftly.

This is a PERFECT way to get my character Elza to train herself to cast spells under pressure and stress without getting herself hurt on in danger. Looking soooo forward to this!

As they converse, Elza heads over to the cabinet to find the sleeping droughts. Although Elza does not use traditional alchemy medicines, she is knowledgeable in the potions and concoctions that can be made through alchemy from her previous Mentor in Gridania years back. Bringing it back over as they pull out some Brandy. She smiles as well keeping a hopeful face. " I don't doubt that we can help you Evangeline. I promise to do everything in my power to help you out. Gives her a hopeful smile. " Don't worry. We will do everything we possibly can. " she then looks to Xha'to with focus on her face and determination. "Alright. Tell me what you want me to do to help. "

It is you who should ultimately decide on what feels right to you. No matter what you agree upon, we are here to aid you in whatever way possible. "

Looks surprised at him and nods. "Well....personally I think that by the signs she shows, it's is definitely a bigger problem now as it has grown within her on her Aether and like you observed, is now tainted Aether. I believe, if it is this big, we might need to extract with with an excursionist from her body...and then if successful, we help restore her Aether amounts back to normal with some Aetherflow healing. " She looks to Xha'to for a response to her opinion adding. " Although, it will take a day or two to make necessary arrangements for such a big ritual, any ideas you would have to at least pause the growth of the void in her for the temporary time being? "

He looks towards Evangeline with a smile. She starts to speak in a comforting tone. " Well, by this I meant it is basically more work on the casting part to rid of the void, then the patients body. " she says to try and easy her mind. " However, like I said, my option is still a bit more taxing. If the void has not manifested itself deep enough into her, starving it would be a less..." she looks for the right words " dramatic and option. But that to, comes with risks..." She looks up at Xha'to for his thoughts on this as her face gives off an unsure of expression herself.
