1. This is such a huge list! Thank you for doing these so often!
2. I'm absolutely going to join this! This is such a great idea !
3. *raises hand* I'm also Australian and only recently met a couple of other players also in this timezone. It's very difficult (especially on FF!) to find consistent partners and free companies that don't mind our weird timezone- but I'm still holding hope! Poke me any time for rp!
4. 1. Orchestrion. 2. Plush Cushion minion. 3. Stuffed Mandragora Queen. 4. Wind-up Shiva. 5. Toy Box.
5. Two good friends of ours had their Ceremony of Eternal Bonding yesterday, and all of us were lucky enough to attend! We had a great time, and even baked the happy couple a (really pink) cake!
6. I'm super excited for this, imagine the possibilitiessss.
7. We had an event today where everyone got together on the beach in the Mist to celebrate the Rising with some interesting (slightly magical) drinks! Loads of fun (and a bit of drama) was had ~
8. Personal Profile Character Name: Sasha Delacour Gender: Male Race: Elezen Duskwight Domestic Profile Civil Status: Twelveswood Native Place of Residence: Nomadic, but primarily within the Shroud. Occupation: Researcher, psychic, and trained medium. Free Company: None IC. Social Profile Plenty of rumours surround the Delacour family. Namely surrounding the disappearance of their daughter (Sasha's twin). They're all well-mannered, courteous, and intelligent, as well as entirely Wildwood-passing. Sasha plays up to this, despite his relative aversion to sunlight and his preference for solitude, and quiet company-- it's a convenience, and one he takes full advantage of. He can often be seen around Gridania, offering his services to the wealthy, or simply enjoying the sights. He's often quiet, withdrawn, and reserved when in crowded or public places, but this is entirely a facade. He's talkative, and inquisitive, unruly, and open. He doesn't hold back. He'll admit he's a man of simple pleasures, who likes the wood best when it rains- but his tastes are opulent, and too extravagant for his own good. Meta Profile Sasha's twin sister was taken by the Wood. He doesn't know what sins she committed against the Greenwrath and he's perfectly happy to live in his ignorance with his fond memories of her. It's largely the reason Sasha refuses to venture to parts of the Shroud in fear that she might find him again. He's cagey about it, and his family simply express their dismay that she's gone missing, and that they hope she finds her way home again. His work is largely fraudulent. He uses targeted guessing and a bit of magic to force his results, and it usually works. When it doesn't, he simply pours more magic into the air to force his clients to believe what he's telling them. He also allows people to believe he's a Wildwood, because he doesn't have the patience to deal with a lot of the weight that comes with being a Duskwight. There's lots of possible hooks for him, so I'm always keen to find more connections! His Wiki page is here if you're interested to read more!
9. I'm not sure if this has been posted already, but Hanabee has launched a promotion in collaboration with FFXIV for its Australian and New Zealand players. All you need to do is spend $30 on the online store to get your codes!! All the info you need is here! I'm super stoked, I was positive they'd forgotten us. <3
10. I triggered myself a few days ago with my own stupidity. So, I have this character who used to be a ninja, but I put that aside in favour of leveling AST on him. I have both classes now at 60, but discarded a bunch of my Ninja armour to free up space in my armoury chest. I had to do a difficult dungeon for the MSQ, and decided to make it easier on my party and go DPS. I equipped everything that was high level, and bought a few pieces to complete the outfit and keep my average item level high, but I forgot to equip my soul stone. SO, I zone into my trial as a level 60 rogue, and realise what I've done when I don't have my ninjitsu. I tried to equip my soulstone, but ofc you can't change classes in a dungeon. So I'm just kind of.. standing there, frozen, hoping no one notices my tiny failure of a self. I kept edging behind the giant Auri tank hoping to make myself invisible (I saw one of the healers target me but if she noticed what I'd done she didn't say anything). No one said anything. The tank pulled, and the trial failed (probs because of me) on our first try. The tank left, which gave me an opening to flee before anyone noticed. I'm still so mortified lkfdlfkj. Ever since then I've been SO CAREFUL when class-swapping before going into a queue. If anyone was in that trial, pls forgive me. Ideally I should've left straight away but it was about 3am, for some reason it didn't occur to me at the time.
