<IC> The sanguine hum of violins, the sweet taste of wine, the kiss of a costumed stranger beneath Menphina's hallowed light - Can you envision it as the days pass by and the celebration approaches? Gather under the Sable Tree for a night of refuge in our first annual All Saints' Wake Ball! Join us on the final eve of the moon, share a drink and dance 'til your slippers break at the heels! Will you encounter your fated half-- or share a pas-de-deux with Lady Death herself? <OOC> On Friday, October 25th from 5pm PDT/7pm CDT to 9pm PDT/11pm CDT The Sable Tree Company will host a ballroom event at our mansion located in Lavender Beds p58, w15! To suit the theme of the evening, the dress code for the ball will be **Frightening Elegance.** In other words, dress to scare in the most chic fashions! Sable Tree will provide the music for the evening, playing orchestral tracks through an out-of-game playlist(Playlist site and link TBA). Members of Sable Tree will be joining the crowd to partake in dances as directed by the hosts. untilJoin the Sable Tree Company for a frightening night of festivities and delves into a haunted labyrinth! <IC> Welcome to The Sable Tree Company's fourth All Saints' Wake celebration! Come visit our garden for a relaxed All Saint’s Wake party, or perhaps even brave the depths of the Lost Light Labyrinth, a twisting maze constructed by our own with the macabre nature of the night in mind! Bring forth your holiday cheer, don your costumes for the evening, and share with us a moon of music, food and wine! Will you dare explore the twists and turns of our Labyrinth, and find the treasure at the end? <OOC> The Sable Tree Company will be hosting a public event on Balmung this October 11th, starting at 5pm PDT, at Lavender Beds Ward 15, plot 58. The event will be consisting of an evening party and a synchronous maze event, both happening at the garden of the FC's headquarters. At 7pm PDT we will also be holding a costume contest! As this is an IC-only event, keeping your costume IC is recommended, but those looking to only enter the labyrinth or simply enjoy the evening with us are more than welcome to don what they please! The top 3 costumes will be rewarded with special prizes! If you would like to take part in the costume contest on the date of the event, please let Veyha Yanjahl or Admiah Kreiston either ICly or via /tell OOCly. Entrants will be taken from 5pm PDT until 7pm PDT. Similarly, if you wish to inquire about anything please get in touch with either of us, as we would be more than happy to discuss anything you wish! This event will officially run until 9pm PDT; Revelers are more than welcome to stay and roleplay for the rest of the evening!

Come on by for a taste of Othard’s finest teas, with new flavors of tea and snacks being crafted for your pleasure, or relax in our hot tubs! (Everything is paid in ic gil, so no real gil is traded, however, donations in gil are more than welcome to help support our giveaways and events!) Come tell us a story of your adventure on our stage, or give us a small performance if you'd like- just be sure to respect our environment and ambiance if you do! IC/OOC Notes: - Please leave any weapons at the door with our attendants, they will be returned to you on your departure by our sanctuary attendants! - No violent, abusive or rude behavior will be tolerated- our atmosphere is meant to be comfortable and relaxing! If you’re looking for such RP, please take it elsewhere! We will not tolerate anyone misbehaving ICly or OOCly on the premises and the sanctuary retainers will remove and ban anyone that hassles other guests or the staff. - Please be patient, and cooperate with the staff. Since a lot of our staff will be attending to guests in conversation and service, feel free to seat yourselves if no one has done so already and they will get to you as soon as you do! - We will occasionally do giveaways, for Mog Station or In-Game items, or artwork (with raffle tickets to be paid in real gil!)
