Hi! I am looking for new writing company for off-game FFXIV RP on Discord. I play the game on PS, and my keyboards keep on self-destructing, so in-game RP never seemed sensible choice for me as additionally when thinking with my feet I just have two left feet. I have roleplayed on Skype and Discord for the last 10 years, loving it, and I would just love to do something interactive and roleplaylike with my FFXIV characters on my current main RP platform in Discord. ...So, plsplspls god, if this is something you are looking for too, let's say hi to each other, omg I am starving... This will get wordy, not because I'd be always irritatingly wordy but because I do want to reveal my full hand and most of my quirks as roleplayer, which may or may not become topical. I. Basic Info Characters: Ikaruga Kurai & Jitah'li Habhoka; Though characters bearing the names exists on Chaos DC and are indeed owned by me (Ikaruga being my current raiding main), for casual in game purposes I fully intend to just Fantasia that one character, Ika on Ragnarok, to match the appearance of the character most appropriate to those purposes. I am not interested in in-game RP, but I am free and enthusiastic to meet any prospective RP partner in-game OOC if we so agree; running dungeon, running raid, climbing Kugane tower, taking screenshots - like, skybox is the limit. Little friendliness never made worse roleplays. Primary character: The one I succeed in getting tangled into any meaningful story at all, to be honest... Linkshells: - Primary RP linkshell: - II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Light-medium. Or just right amount to guarantee Good Time™. This is creative, fun hobby and I have too long history with it to whip myself over every little thing. For reference: some samples of my previous RP threads in their raw and unedited glory. CLICK Views on RP combat and injuries: I am story fanatic, as in the story is what I am addicted about in RP. I am not interested punishing mine or anyone's characters with little rhyme or reason to it. But well set fight scene, or daring duel, or chase out of danger's way? Well, don't leave me out. And do not let my characters get out without little scars onto their skin or mind, or both. I'm not afraid to leave my characters lose, a lot. But I promise that they'll put on losing fight with gusto. Views on IC romance: I approve; the sugar of romance compliments the salt of the danger and anxiety very nicely. My characters have no set strict orientation. When it comes to RP I think the chemistry and compatibility between personalities is more important than if they are guys or girls or both or neither. Love is love. I think plotting romantic tension, if that is something both parties want, is fun way to lay some groundwork for the upcoming RP even before the writing begins. I write ERP too, but not as stand-alone self-satisfactory titillation + it is not any way something I must have. Fade-to-black and sexlessness is equally good route. If all that is there, it's gotta be part of the story; like with aggression and violence in RP, I do not much like erotica and sensuality just randomly be there for the sake of it itself. I am hopeless fujoshi, so there is that, I guess But none of my guy characters are exclusively gay, as stated. In such pairing they might have top tendency, or faux sore loser tendency. And most importantly; ladies are welcomed and embraced in this romance scenario business, equally! Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): I approve; familial relationships, antagonistic relationships, uncertain connections - potential is right there and it is awesome. I am staunchly pro-plotting as I do not think it takes anything away from the writing itself. And when I talk about plotting I mean some general "but then happened or might happen!" flavored guidelines. If it cannot be bend or break if something better comes by, it was likely not very fun plot to begin with. I am interested in miqo'tes and au ras being, well, miqo'tes and au ras together. So any culturally/behaviorally cat people things for Jitah'li and any xaela centric socialization for Ika are shamelessly sought out by me, but naturally those are not only kind of encounters I wish for, because the characters itself are not that weirdly insular/in-group focused. Views on lore: Imagination is more important than knowledge, but let's play by it. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): - III. I tried to join the RP community several years ago but I disappeared, so I think it’s a good thing write here as salutation. As I wrote, I tried to play the RP-side of FFXIV but in the end I never had the resolve to leave the Italian community and my character. What changed now? I don’t feel attachment to that community anymore, I stopped raiding and my routine become login-roulettes/leves-logout and I think my social issues worsen. So I want try to exit from my comfort zone and do something different, like some light RP. I still don’t know which kind of character create and I need some technical information. Is still Omega the European rp server? I tried the world visit a couple of times in the starting city but I never found any roleplaying. Can I play with a character from another server via world visit or the limitations for FC, Linkshell and market are too difficult to overcome? My main is in Ragnarok and it will be nice if I can use it. There are other question about the lore but I will ask them in the appropriate section.

At last fallen to the Garlean Empire, making it another imperial colony, nowadays, the people of Ala Mhigo celebrate the liberation of their motherland from a long period of colonialism and oppression. After decades of resistance, a deadlock between the Liberation Movement and the Garlean Government occurred. It is important to note however that "freedom" should mean the relief of society from poverty, unemployment, racism, sexism and other forms of discrimination. The Democracy is still recent and many of said issues arise in Ala Migho. There's still a long way to go in regards to healing many of the deep running scars of the Garlean Colonialism. Yet, new challenges, like the growing inequality amongst garlean-integrated Mhigans, as well as the political and economic instability in the region, caused by a new elite interested in pursuing only their own interests. Delicate Masquerade masks were worn by the prosperous class at balls. They had many uses, including hiding one's identity, and made use of different colors to express emotions and opinions without judgment. They therefore serve as a reminder that freedom requires us to remain permanently vigilant against corruption and the erosion of values. To build an active citizenship that will work towards working past its colonial legacy and build a road to a peaceful future for the free Ala Mhigo.

Hi! n.n As I mentioned in my introduction post I'm searching people to roleplay with. Right now I play on Ragnarok, It looks like there aren't many people roleplaying there, but It'd be great to be lucky and find someone, haha >.< I'm interested in basic rol such as adventure-fantasy kind of roleplaying related to the original game lore (go on missions together, just walk around talking while playing the role of our characters, etc). I'm a novice since I'm still at level 31, but I hope it doesn't matter >.< (if you're a novice too we can go levelling together, otherwise we can just roleplay if you're interested). I usually enter the game everyday after university (that'd in the afternoon-evening, here in Europe. Today it was impossible due to the data center migration xD). Birthdate: 20th Sun of the 6th Umbral Moon. Race: Midlander Hyur. Gender: Female. Class: Archer. Personality and Story: Shiori is the kind of serious hard-working character that while she's agreeable and sociable with everyone, she finds it difficult to show her deepest feelings. She's actually pretty shy even if she does not look like that. She is not able to remember her past, sometimes she has visions of what she thinks it's linked to her past life in the form of lost memories, but she doesn't know it for sure. She started her life as a adventurer in Gridania as a result of a strange premonition.

Hello everyone! I'm fairly new to the world of FFXIV (Only just got my Dragoon to level 50 the other day after a month of playing), and I'm in dire need of some good old-fashioned RP. Unfortunately, my friend got me to join Ragnarok, which I then found out is -not- a very RP-friendly server. So I come here, in the hopes that there are others like me, who'd like to do some RP'ing, or perhaps even has an FC or a linkshell going for that particular purpose. Can anyone help a fellow RP'er out?

Figured I'd start a thread of my own, though I HAVE seen other Ragnarok RP threads here. I've responded to a couple, so consider this a 'bump for interest' if that's you! During Server Maintenance I figured I'd try and network, so if you're interested in RP on the Ragnarok EU server please get in touch. I'd call myself a 'medium' level RPer, though I hope that doesn't put you off. ^^;

Well now that eu server is transferd i think it's good time to search other roleplayers in that server if you come and look other RP-ers just come look aiden mercer and i will guid you to others well at least i will try but i hope to find other Ragfnaroks rpers this way
