Dat Oni Posted August 8, 2015 Share #27 Posted August 8, 2015 Edgar tries not to get into racial slurs, which is difficult, as he comes from a place where you'd obviously expect everyone to swear like sailors. However, he has been known to break this code if pressured enough. He can be a bit creative. Seekers: Hotbloods, Slit-eyes Keepers: Wide-eyes, Snowskins Roegadyn: Flatfaces Link to comment

Okichi Posted August 9, 2015 Share #29 Posted August 9, 2015 My Xaela isn't particularly fond of Raen. She'll call them whitescales, even if she knows their name already. She calls Miqo'te fuzz-ears, mostly due to not really knowing the actual name for them yet. Link to comment
Kurt S. Posted August 10, 2015 Share #30 Posted August 10, 2015 After some IC stuff that's happened. Kat's got it into her head all Elezen are in some way 'Dhalmel F**kers' but tries not to address them as such. Keyword tries. But c'moooon those necks and limbs. Then there was also that one time she called a certain seeker 'budget whore' and is one of her go to's when dealing with seekers in general. Link to comment
K'nahli Posted August 10, 2015 Share #31 Posted August 10, 2015 These Seeker slurs depress me sooooo much. (Crylander made me laugh but I cannot imagine anyone in the FF universe actually saying it, haha). Link to comment
Berrod Armstrong Posted August 10, 2015 Share #32 Posted August 10, 2015 Berrod tries to hide his racism, so he doesn't slur as much as I'd like him to. However, he openly calls Garleans 'Eggheads' and refers to the Allag as 'Ancient Eggheads'. Link to comment

I admit, I don't really get this one. Do Seekers have webbed feet or something? Dogs and seemingly cats have partially-webbed toes so I think it might be a reference to that(?) (I mention dogs since they're the only ones I can comment on with certainty). Link to comment

Oilbasedoleander Posted August 11, 2015 Share #39 Posted August 11, 2015 Tatsu called Lala's turnipheads. Even if it isn't lore appropriate, I get a kick out of the slur and Tatsu has been punted in the shins by a tiny man before because of it. Link to comment
Olofantur Posted August 11, 2015 Share #40 Posted August 11, 2015 Miqo'te/midlanders: "Half-heights" lalafells: "Yalm-stick" "Stubs" Wildwoods: "Hyur lovers" Highlanders: "Rhalgr's step-children" Quari tends to go for jabbing at what ever the person in question is lauding so I haven't cultivated many general ones. S'imba Posted August 15, 2015 Share #41 Posted August 15, 2015 I have a keeper that refers to seeker's as hell cats. Though this comes more from the fact he spent his whole life how they live there and how they eat keeper children. A few others though. Lalafell: crotch inspectors Roe: beef stew Elezen: tree humper Link to comment

Khadan Posted August 18, 2015 Share #44 Posted August 18, 2015 On my Xaela I've jokingly referred to Raen Au Ra as "Pale Scale" before =P 1 Link to comment
Desitjant Posted August 29, 2015 Share #45 Posted August 29, 2015 Not sure if it's actually racist, or just size-ist... ... but my Dotharl Xaela once overheard someone in a tavern taunting their Lalafell friend a la: "best watch it around those big ones (Au Ra males), you're just small enough to eat..." Ornlu has no intentions of eating a Lalafell (or people in general) but found the concept amusing enough that he will sometimes address one as "morsel" or "crumb". Regrettably, I don't think there is a lore basis for "Falafel-l" =/ Link to comment

Kibu Posted June 15, 2016 Share #47 Posted June 15, 2016 These are all golden and I'm not sure how I missed this thread before. My kids tend to mostly be pretty chill about other races (or simply haven't had the opportunity to be racist in-game yet), but personally I'm fond of "knife-ears" for Elezen. I have a couple friends who refers to my Miqo'te as a "kit" or "catte", and while it bugged him at first it's started to sort of grow into a term of endearment. But when they poke fun by assigning him catlike traits (asking him if he purrs when he's happy, etc) he starts to get annoyed and fall into the usual "we aren't cats!" argument. Link to comment
Scaith Posted June 15, 2016 Share #48 Posted June 15, 2016 lol a few of my faves so far "Oy, fluffbutt!" "Damn gurl, you horny or just happy to see me?" "Oh goodie, someone to go up on me!" "wow, death by snu snu for Roes!" Obviously you can see I'm no good with these lol. Link to comment

Delilah Scythewood Posted December 20, 2016 Share #50 Posted December 20, 2016 Fuzzbutt I love Strawberry as a slur against Hellsguard Whoreson is a classic for all When my character Mhiago watches fights, she gets pretty excited. One of my favorites she's belted out thus far: "Hit him in the pube covered flesh cherries!" Link to comment
