Aiye Posted November 26, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 26, 2015 Hello, Not sure where I missed it, but I made it to level 31CNJ and 15 ARC. However, I was not given the option of the seer folly. Not sure what I am missing here. Are there certain side quests or errands that must be complete before E-Sumi unlocks the quest for me? I've been running around a few days and can't figure out whats missing. I noticed I do not have presence of mind either. Please help Link to comment

Have you completed your Conjurer level 30 quest? Edit: Specifically, you have to have completed In Nature's Embrace and Sylph-Management (which is a level 20 MSQ). Link to comment

I've completed all level 30 quest. the final one was with Sylphie. After, I returned to the guild for the final cutseen, but was not given the option for the Soul Stone quest. I'm looking at the journal and it shows I completed In Nature's Embrace. I complete Sylphies Trials at level 20. Link to comment
Kage Posted November 26, 2015 Share #10 Posted November 26, 2015 Sylph Management is a Main Story Quest. Edit: Check your journal log, how far are you in the Main Scenario Quest? Link to comment
Aiye Posted November 26, 2015 Author Share #11 Posted November 26, 2015 Sylph Management is a Main Story Quest. Edit: Check your journal log, how far are you in the Main Scenario Quest? The last one was dressed to deceive. I went to Commander Vorsaile Heuloix for the next one, but nothing happened. . Also says I'm not a member of the Twin Addler Order Link to comment
Tiergan Posted November 26, 2015 Share #12 Posted November 26, 2015 If your very last MSQ question was Dressed to Deceive (level 19 MSQ quest) then you haven't gone far enough in the MSQ. You have to have completed Sylph Management (Level 20 quest) before you can unlock Jobs. Link to comment
Kage Posted November 26, 2015 Share #13 Posted November 26, 2015 If your last MSQ was Dressed to Deceive, then your current quest should be Life Materia and Everything. http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Dressed_to_Deceive http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Life,_Materia_and_Everything These are all in Western Thanalan areas (Camp Drybone or Horizon/Waking Sands) You've got a ways to go before you can get that quest and become a WHM (about 5? 6 quests?). You still have your first trial to do, choose a grand company. Link to comment

Unless I missed it somewhere Link to comment
Kage Posted November 26, 2015 Share #15 Posted November 26, 2015 This MSQ requirement was not in the game before, but they'd put it in trying to fight RMT. You're far far ahead of the MSQ level requirements, it won't take you long. They'd put the new requirements in the patch notes when they added it but I don't know if it's placed somewhere else in the logs. ((There are similar things to this. The primal hard mode trials are required to complete the MSQ after the 2.0 MSQ, I think it's required for 2.5? I believe it's in the quest log though that the hardmodes are required for that next quest.)) Link to comment
Aiye Posted November 27, 2015 Author Share #16 Posted November 27, 2015 Thank you Kage!!!! It took me all night, but finally got the crystal and am now a WHM. Aiye Link to comment
Kage Posted November 27, 2015 Share #17 Posted November 27, 2015 Grats, glad to hear of it! Don't hesitate to ask if you have anymore questions or issues with the game. If we can help, we will. I hope you found the ifrit trial cutscene awesome. I remember when I first did it I was in awe. Link to comment
Valence Posted November 27, 2015 Share #18 Posted November 27, 2015 Personally, it's the whole WhM/conjuring storyline that I found awesome. I may be biased with everything that relates to Gridania though. Link to comment

I may be biased with everything that relates to Gridania though. I liked the Conjury questline (when I wasn't tempted to murder the people involved). The WHM questline from 30-50 was okay. Was very bummed by the 50-60 questline. Was expecting more. Link to comment
