This is an Exerpt of our RP event, small summary more or less:

Book VIII Gyr Abania

Prelude: The Flight

The Knights of Eorzea took to flight on board the 'Dauntless Requiem' and proceed to the peak's from Limsa Lominsa. It was a long journey, crossing most of Eorzea and parts of the ocean to circumvent what they felt would be a far more dangerous trek, what they did not know was how dangerous their secondary route would end up. The night air was crisp and the light that the moon offered was enough to cut through the darkness to give them the needed visibility. Of course that also meant that any enemy aircraft would have the same visibilty, and soon the Order found themselves engaged with not one but three Imperial Juggernauts (Fast and Nimble Imperial Aircraft that often swarmed enemy positions with sizable numbers). The hail of gun fire that came from their forward turret's illuminated the night sky and the constant sound of their shells 'thudding' through the air broke the silence with thunderous noise. The Dauntless Requiem jarred to the left, banked to the right and dove forward toward the rolling waves underneath. Explosions tore across the hull of the Dauntless but the Cannon fire that was returned from the Order's Airship landed on their targets too. It wasn't just the juggernauts the knight's had to worry about but the deposited soldiers too that leaped from the imperial crafts.

After a long night, the Knights managed to fend off the attackers but the Dauntless suffered a considerable amount of damage which would force the Airship to crash land just outside an Resistance Outpost within the peaks.

Another Report from the Knights of Eorzea (Small insight on KOE's Activities)

Book VIII Gyr Abania

Chapter One: The Landing

The Knights of Eorzea having crash landed in the peaks they found refuge in a resistance outpost located along the southern expanse of this sprawling mountainous zone. Here they would quickly get themselves situated, grabbing supplies from the airship, setting up a medical center, getting a lay of the land and figuring out their best defensive posturing within the tall walls of the Resistance Outpost. The knights worked vigilantly doing this and not one person failed in their task. From this they now can tend to the wounded quicker, provide general aid to the resistance, setup regular patrols to keep a steady eye on imperial movements, ready the ramparts for battle and so much more. The Order was as ready as they could be both on the defensive and if needed had the capability to go on the offense just as swiftly.

Last night the Knights of Eorzea convened in the Pillar's, Ishgard. They arrived in Ishgard for only a single evening while on one of the Alliance Airships was stocking up Cargo, they had arranged to get a few extra crates for their own order to be carried on the backside of the ship. While they waited for it to be loaded the Order talked for hours (3 IRL Hours) about themselves, affairs, and generally getting to know one and another. It was a nice respite from the storm of activity they've had to endure with the War and playing the role of the Good Guy.

"The night sky was filled with scarlet lights that danced amidst a sea of cimmerian shades. Not even the alabastrine glow from the star's could cut through the violent display of explosive colors. The engines from our ship hummed to life, as the cold night air cut across our deck. To the ship sides, three ominous forms threatened to bring us down.." ~ First Hand Account of the Dog Fight Between the Dauntless Requiem and three Imperial Juggernauts.

I'll keep this post simple today. The Knights of Eorzea is still seeking members to join our ranks! We host a myriad of events during the week from 'Side Adventures' to our 'Free Companies Main Storyline' and even some PvE oriented events to bring us all together out of character. We do a lot of non-event RP too, and soon we will be celebrating our 1 Year Anniversary! Woot!

Knights of Eorzea will be bringing back its Mentor System! After an extended period of time we have amassed enough dedicated members (People who have formed our Core for longer then three months) to finally get the idea's going about how to approach this. For us new members to our FC are just as important as our old so in order to break new ground with new faces we are coming together as a community (New and Old) to work out the flaws from our previous attempt. Currently we are getting community feedback and I'm positive we'll have a nice thing in place for the future.

The Knights of Eorzea will be Hosting a 1 Year Anniversary to Honor and celebrate all those who came before and all those who still are with us.  That said we will be inviting anyone that would like to come (Date still being decided) there will be games, prizes, performances, and more! We have all our level 70-Omnicrafter's and all our Gatherer's at the ready to fill the pot. Anyways look forward to our official posting shortly, we are super excited!

We have just initiated our 'Mentor' Program here on Balmung. What the Mentor Program does is allows our (Knights, High Knights and Knight Captains) to run events that aid in the overall story event which is held once a week (Our Chapter Event). Not only this but these events award 'Gil' which can be used to purchase Furniture, Glamours and EXP Bundles (Exp for our Character Sheets). We have tons of Omni-crafters in our community and thought it'd be fun to award activity with material things as well as a thanks for being a part of our story!

The Knights of Eorzea has grown to nearly 34 Active Members. So while the server remains shut we will continue to strive to offer the most we can to our members. Our members provide feedback which means a great deal to us. It is part of the reason why we have been able to grow. We encourage our members to provide our leadership feedback, to point out flaws in our systems and to get involved in our affairs. We have atleast 2 to 3 Story-related RP events going on a week (All Open World) and we do a lot of side RP throughout the week. Not only that but we participate in Player Vs. Environment content too.

If your looking for Open World RP, Adventuring and what not come check us out @ Knightsofeorzea.com (Our 1 year anniversary is in 12 days!)

Chapter Three: The Spider's Web

Attendance: Matsu Kusakiri, Kuroi Ryu, Artoria Aldsan, Cyneler Fenrir, Caen Macleod, Carmen Arkwright, Sehra Muril, Ryslo Suramlo

The Knights of Eorzea met in the Alliance Outpost known as Ala Ghiri. Here they quickly organized themselves by meeting near the northern most gate. With little time to explain the nights operations, the group proceeded west where they would setup a ambush for suspected imperial reinforcements that were being diverted to the Castrum in the Region. The Alliance was going to attack that Castrum and had asked the Knights if they could help by acting as a rear flank to the operation. With the trap set, the knights waited. Eventually Imperial movement was identified, a large Spider Walker advanced forward on its own. It would spot one of the Knights and attack immediately, spurring the trap into motion as half the group attacked from one side while a pair of knights attacked it head on. The conflict was long, injuries piled up but eventually the Walker was destroyed. That wasn't the end of the conflict, Imperial soldiers also marched into the scene but were easily dispatched (all except 1). With combat ended two of the Knights had to be air-evac to Gridania for immediate medical attention. The night would be long but everyone survive, though healing would take a lot longer then what transpired this evening.

Knights of Eorzea is one of the few Free Companies that endorses open-world RP. Where we venture out into the wilds of Eorzea, Gyr Abania and Othard to take on Missions to serve the people. They have served the following places over the last year:

Lost Hope - Thanalan

Little Ala Mhigo - Thanalan

Hyrstmill - Shroud

Camp Tranquil - Shroud

Camp Dragonhead - Coerthas

Ala Gannha - The Peaks

Castrum Oriens - The Fringes

Ruby Sea (entire zone) - Othard

Namia - Yanxia

Ala Ghiri - The Peaks

The Knights are now moving into the Loch's as they make their push to aid the resistance in the liberation of Ala Mhigo. (We play lesser parts to the Warrior of Light, so we may be assigned to secure a location for final pushes and what not that don't play hand in hand with the Games Direct Storyline, but rather supports it).

Book VIII Gyr Abania

Chapter Four: Holding the Line

Attendance: Ryslo, Sigmund, Aelin, Matsu, Miselda, Nuala, Koga, Artoria, Drekki, Carmen, Cyneler, Sehra, (Will double check the screenshots for attendance).

Special Conditions: The Knights of Eorzea setup their camp. In doing so they can move safely around the Region. They also have a place to fall back to. Next the managed to spare Augustus Van Alugus. In doing so the Knights will not have to contend with him through the Liberation of Ala Mhigo. Now because they couldn't secure three Chocobo's from Tail Feather the knights wont receive vital information from the Alliance making the difficulty of the next battle that much harder. Also they failed to scout the Lochs and will suffer a -10 to their attack rolls in the region giving strength to the enemy units. Lastly they didn't under the Monster.. Consequences for this are yet determined.

Fall Back Option Available.

No Vengeance from Augustus Van Alugus.

Lack of Intel, No Idea what is approaching.

-10 to Hit Rolls against Enemies

Unknown Consequence from Monster Hunt.

Mission Conclusion

The Knights of Eorzea had broken their numbers into two groups. One would protect the West, while the other protected the North. Their Goal was to keep an opening available for any fleeing survivor's from Ala Mhigo that had been directed to come to the Knight's Base of Operations in the old Monastery to the far South. It would not be any easy fight as we had thirty or so refugee's making the attempt to clear the city before the final battle erupted. On their heel's would be the empire's own scouting party's that had still been on the outside of Ala Mhigo's tall walls.

Once both groups had locked themselves into position, they would be immediately engaged with the enemy. The Western Group (Ryslos Team) would have to fight off the enemy long enough to give the Northern Group (Sigmunds Party) time to get the Civilians into their defensive position. Magitek, Soldiers both alike fought hard against the defensive lines trying to slaughter the fleeing Ala Mhigan's in a attempt to create a fear effect in the up and coming final battle. Holding the line's the Knights would watch as casualties slowly began to rise, but they also noticed about half of the fleeing Ala Mhigan's made it to safety. At the end 16 of 30 of the Civilians had been saved by the efforts of the Knights.

I am proud to report that the Mentoring Events, that started last week, are proving to be a great success!

These mentoring events have provided story immersion for any and all our members, no matter the level they are or the areas they can get to within the game.

The Knights have been busy in Gridania collecting medicinal herbs, making tinctures, salves and medicines of highest quality to aid at the front lines in Ala Mhigo. Others have acquired Cannons from Kobalds that stole them from the Maelstrom. Still others were able to obtain the trust and assistance from a band of Ala Mhigan teens to aid in ushering any civilians, the Knights are able to get out of Ala Mhigo, to the relative safety of a hidden camp.

Tonight we are performing the last rp in this series.. the Liberation of Ala Mhigo.

We look forward to entering a new book with new adventures!  Come share with us!

We will be posting details about our 1 year anniversary and out it went. We had over 24 people show up and handed out some amazing gifts. Also I feel I should repost our video as we've all worked hard to make this Book a memorable one. Lastly, We here at the Nights want to wish everyone a Great Starlight (And want to thank Outriders for coming last night as well as Garron, Keke and Miss Wulf for coming to our festivities and celebrating our 1 year mark with us).

It has been sometime since I've posted here. I just want to let people know we are very much alive. We have roughly 45+ active members currently and always seeking a chance to grow further. There is RP going on nightly, events three to four times a week and we will be expanding to engage other free companies here shortly. We do a lot of our RP outside our FC hall and in the Open world. Come check us out @ knightsofeorzea.com

Below is a sample of our Research Events and how they bare fruit. It was really fun to take things as they are and give an opinion about the world around us and that's exactly what we did. A lot of the information below is based on our characters Opinion of the past so it may be accurate and it may not be. That's the fun part of research!

UeSH7i.png

Researchers: Ryslo Suramlo, Akua Sekai, Carmen Arkwright & Koga Mitsurugi

Time Spent Researching: 2 Hours

Got as far as: The First Bosses Chamber (OOC Info)

Other Notations:

The Energy that is absorbed by the sun seems to be stored within larger Capacitor's that feed the working crystal the energy provided by the sun. Though this does not apply to all the chambers as an alternative source of energy (Purple) seems to have a kinship with the void.

Its important to understand that the Belah'dians believed in Azeyma; So using that Knowledge a lot of the conclusions came from what little was known about the people. Their Past and what they left behind.

Sil'dih may have been the land of Barbarianism? While Ul'dah may have been the land of opportunity? Of course this line of thinking was and is just an opinion. Should be noted that Ul'dah could have been the aggressor and Sil'dih the side that suffers but History often is written by the victor.

There was a fourth Elevated Plate found however it lay hidden beneath debris that had laid waste upon the ground.

Other Notations:

1. There were some discussions about the 'Wandering Tribes' specifically about the Origins of Lalafells and Hyur.

2. The Air in the place was thick with Aether; It seem to be a contrast of a tug and pull between the Elemental Aether and the Voidal Aether that was still lingering in place.

3. There definitely was signs of the old war present. The crumbling walls, the pillars that laid in pieces along the ground. The Overgrowth of vegetation. There was comments that the Vegetation could be reclaiming the place for differing reasons, but one thing was for certain time would slowly see the place lost to the elements of the world.
