This is going to sound weird but... Have you ever seen Boogie Nights? I was thinnkin about how honest and sweet Dirk Diggler is at the beginning with his boyish "I wanna do good!" when I was drawing Kaed. So I think it came out in the 70s look

Did one of Koren again pre-haircut.

 

I'm also at this point officially accepting commissions. I think from what I understand my starting price is 15 an hour AND you have to please be present during some of the live-stream so I know that I'm getting what you're asking for. Re-drawing and stuff is a lot of time, yo.

 

To give a general idea estimate the picture in this post was a 3.5 hour drawing. I... do not color. Color is not my jam http://ffxiv-roleplayers.com/showthread.php?tid=3364 however is great at color and muscles so I recommend him if you want to do that . I can leave off all shading so that someone else or you can color. To compare, the other pictures in this thread were 30 to 40 minute doodles. My price for those is 10.

 

As you might imagine from the link, Susu's a friend of mine. If you're looking for a more Western, comic book style he's a great source. I'm more of a Korean-style intricate person. Also my guys kinda look femme unless I try real hard.

You ever do work on commission?

 

I do!  Though as I'm lazy my commission prices are usually things like: Listen to me talk about my character while I draw for a 30 to 45 minute piece or things like in game gold for an actual piece that takes me a week.

Commission art aside, I'd do that listening thing for the sheer joy of listening/gabbing about characters alone~ :thumbsup:

Hee... Koren IS always going on about how pretty she is. I'm going to eventually combine the two looks. I know for a fact I love her boobs in this one but I kinda like her face in the other one a little better. But I think her hair's been cut short... or maybe it hasn't. I've come up with a bunch of ideas since I started.

So I'm going to start my commissions tomorrow and we'll see how they go. I'm going to have the livestream up and definitely try to get some good headway into the two of them, however, I don't know how tired I'll be after them.
