Roda Posted August 13, 2013 Share #26 Posted August 13, 2013 Mine would have a small notebook where she could write down all her notes and doodles, her ideas and things worth remembering. I may actually acquire a small notebook myself so I could perform such actions as I RP. I might even upload them if someday if I ever decide to not be a lazy person. Yes! Do this. -- *grumble grumble* Well what kind of materials do they use to record stuff..? (besides ARC supplies because that is NOT meant for rough conditions!) Link to comment
Lren Posted August 13, 2013 Share #27 Posted August 13, 2013 For Lren it would be a pair of sparring gloves and his glasses. And as for Corthier, probably his prized jacket! Link to comment

Fiona Swift Posted August 13, 2013 Share #30 Posted August 13, 2013 for my character, if it is even possible ... The pendant that she got as a gift when she was 16. The problem is.... where to find a pendant in the game I can keep within my inventory! :? Link to comment
Caysen Posted August 13, 2013 Share #31 Posted August 13, 2013 Caysen was built around the image of a compass, and he always carries one, so that's definitely what symbolizes him the most. Link to comment

Ryanti Posted August 14, 2013 Share #33 Posted August 14, 2013 If Ryanti were to have an item on him that defines him, hm... there are three I would like to mention. The first is his family's signet ring. Passed down through his family. As per tradition, the style of the rings are exactly the same from one generation to the other, but each individual person gets to pick the gem. The second is the Golden Lionhead Necklace that Ryanti carries with him. When his father was young and ventured himself, he wore this necklace throughout, that had come to define him. Passed on through his son, the symbolism is there. However, Ryanti does not think himself worthy yet of wearing it, so it stays inside of his pocket, and on tables. The third, I would have to say, would be his notebook. In which he writes down anything he feels like he wants to write down. A window to his soul, if you wish. Link to comment
Roda Posted August 14, 2013 Share #34 Posted August 14, 2013 lol, I see. Well then I don't know ^^" On a side note, would this not be more suited to the RP discussion section? I think it would, since we have that scent thread over there. :Y (On the topic of my journal, I have just created a tumblr blog for my entries. Wondering if I should password protect it because permission to look is a thing. Oh, and how do Eorzeans punctuate? I've found an alphabet, but no punctuations or numbers.) Link to comment
Martiallais Posted August 20, 2013 Share #35 Posted August 20, 2013 Hmm....for Zarek, it'd be a pile of gil or his mother's earring (which he wears). Those are the item-esque things that spring to mind, otherwise it'd probably be the clan tattoo on his shoulder. Link to comment
Noble_Einherjar Posted August 20, 2013 Share #36 Posted August 20, 2013 This is an interesting question. One I unfortunately cannot fully answer. He has some trinkets and baubles that have some meaning, but nothing that really defines him. I could say a big pile of rope. Amuro likes to sneak off and take naps inside big coils of rope when he should be un/loading cargo on the docks of Limsa Lominsa. This is a question I'm going to keep in mind as I discover more of who Amuro is. Link to comment
Quuyn Posted August 20, 2013 Share #37 Posted August 20, 2013 For Koyu it's his necklace, which of course is -rarely- seen due to it being buried beneath his sleeping bag of a robe. It represents his faith in Althyk, over Azeyma... I know a few people who might be a bit pissed when they find this tidbit out ICly~ Link to comment
Ari Kagon Posted August 20, 2013 Share #38 Posted August 20, 2013 For Morelle, it would be a necklace with Nymeia's spinner emblem. It was a family heirloom and all she could find after her parents disappeared the night of the calamity. Link to comment
Raccoon Posted August 20, 2013 Share #39 Posted August 20, 2013 Since I can't think of anything for Dietrych, I'll go with nothing. The table would be empty but covered in a thick layer of dust that someone has written "gone adventuring again" in. For a guy like him, the end of the game's adventure would simply be the beginning of another one. Link to comment
Aduu Avagnar Posted August 20, 2013 Share #40 Posted August 20, 2013 For Nako'li it would most likely be a wax slate similar to those used in roman schools. That or a notebook with magical formulae and observations. Link to comment
C'io Behkt Posted August 20, 2013 Share #41 Posted August 20, 2013 ICly, C'io's is likely her desert cloak. OOCly, it's this: Link to comment
Darien Cadell Posted August 20, 2013 Share #42 Posted August 20, 2013 A pair of tiny keys. One unlocks a little box he keeps under his bed. The other is a mystery. Ooooh. I briefly had a tough time figuring out what he might use, but I opened up the 100 questions I had half answered and they were right there, waiting for me. Link to comment
Dogberry Posted August 20, 2013 Share #43 Posted August 20, 2013 A jagged piece of blood stained coral. It's the piece that was taken from his eye after waking up shipwrecked after the calamity. He still carries it around, much like how he still carries around the memory of what he saw that night. Link to comment

Dravus Posted August 20, 2013 Share #45 Posted August 20, 2013 Theodric's 'key item' would be his lance. He travels often and doesn't tend to be tied down in a particular area for very long, though his weapon is something he takes with him wherever he goes. It was crafted for him by a closer friend over a decade earlier, though he has taken care to repair it and ensure that it remains in excellent shape. One of his biggest regrets is not really having anything else to remember his friend by. The pair worked in a mercenary group together and were ambushed by one of their own who sought to claim the riches for herself rather than hand it over to their employer. Link to comment
Grott Posted August 20, 2013 Share #46 Posted August 20, 2013 Hmm. An item that best describes the character is probably a crude stone knife. It pretty much meant life or death for him in his past. An item that he carries around with him would be the few beads he has in his hair. They're the only thing from his homeland that he still owns. Link to comment

Hopefully they have a God' Quiver armor set available in the near future, because I did see a Wood Wailers coat on XIVDB. Other items might include his toolbelt, bow, and three specific books which he alternates writing entries in. Covikt Posted August 20, 2013 Share #49 Posted August 20, 2013 For the time being, Haru seems to have taken to weaving and arcanima. So I would probably say, maybe a simple leather bound grimoire with a cotton woven bookmark and a simple copper needle in the binding. :3 Link to comment
