Hi all!

 

I have alts.

 

I have lots of alts.

 

So far, I have seven alts in the process of leveling. One is level 40, two in their 30s, and 4 still working their way to 20.

 

I'm looking for RP on all of them. One has a steady traveling companion, and an ongoing storyline (Elissa).

 

I don't usually have a main - my main is whoever I end up RPing the most. I will alt-hop without any problems to get some RP going, but with this many, availability for RP may be erratic if I'm on a different alt.

 

Otherwise I'm on every night after about 7 PM EST. I can hop on earlier if needed - I work at home, so my hours are fairly flexible. I generally stay awake until very late, 2 AM EST or later.

 

I like character relationship driven RP. Not necessarily romantic relationships - any kind of relationship. Friendship, rivalry, and so forth. I have no problems with the occasional random RP, but ultimately I seek steady partners. I understand the availability may be a problem - I have no issue with steady RP partners having other RP too!

 

But anyway. On to my alts. There are a lot of them.

Elissa Vermont

 

A grumpy Midlander thaumaturge in her mid-to-late-20s. She researches Primals and tempering, and is interested in learning more about summoning. She is affiliated with the Immortal Flames for research purposes and likely is privy to info on when Primals are summoned/someone gets tempered as a result. She is mostly holed up in her "lab" of sorts, and when she isn't, it's to do field research. Elissa breathes science and has no people skills whatsoever. She is quick to anger and prone to threatening violence (and feels bad immediately after). Hates being interrupted and is likely to enter science mode and ignore everything and everyone around her while thinking and/or working. Will have lengthy conversations about the aether and the Lifestream and anything related to it with like-minded individuals. Will bicker with everyone else. Actually, will bicker with like-minded individuals.

Cerise Vallois

 

A quiet Wildwood artisan in her 30s. Originally from Ishgard and originally a Dragoon, she left the country and lay down the lance for reasons you'll have a very hard time prying out of her. She has a weakness for cute things, and has a very intense hatred of Inquisitors and Ishgardian politics in general. Presumed dead in her home country, will deny being Ishgardian to any who ask. May be recognized by fellow (former?) Dragoons.

Lyra'to Maegah

 

Reworked!

 

A 27 year old Keeper of the Moon who has spent the last 10 or so years studying Arcanima at the guild in Limsa. In his field, he's a genius, and there is very little he doesn't know/can't do. He's lived a fairly sheltered life and so is still fairly naive about the rest of the world. Soft spoken, gentle, gullible to a fault, and a little awkward around women. Is affiliated with the Maelstrom and assists with research on Leviathan and Titan.

Ethne Lancaster

 

A Midlander healer for hire (early 20s) who happens to be blind (see topic "Blindness"). She spends the entirety of her free time and spending money on aiding refugees and/or people in need. Disclaimer: she is not driven entirely by kindness, but her motives aren't evil, either. She genuinely wants to help, just not completely out of the goodness of her heart. Has the Echo, and A Past. Puts on a fairly cheerful, fairly witty front. It's very, very, very hard to offend her. You could be the biggest douche on the planet, and she'd probably not mind you.

Maliqa Lamahni

 

A 22 year old Seeker of the Sun born outside of a tribe to a (formerly) Tia and a female of an undisclosed tribe. Her "last name" is her mother's first name. Her parents passed away years ago, leaving her to care for a little brother (whose "last name" is their father's first name). A grounded, reasonable, extremely hardworking person, she takes on mercenary jobs to pay for her brother's conjury studies. Not very good at dealing with people, is meek and unsure around those she's unfamiliar with. Her brother has idealistic views on adventuring, and she keeps the fact she is a mercenary hidden from him (or he'd follow her). Feels most at ease near other Miqo'te without tribe affiliation.

Rhesh Awanah

 

A loud, foulmouthed, sassy, blunt Keeper of the Moon. She can appear quite flirty when she wants to. Drinks when upset, runs her mouth and spills her guts when drunk. Seemingly overreacts at anything she perceives as harassment. Rhesh is a very skilled martial artist and has numerous scars on her knuckles. She also has a talent for drawing, and will occasionally pick any materials available and start scribbling on the nearest available surface. Does odd jobs hitting things. Occasionally makes money by selling portraits to passersby.

Nanaya Naya

 

A somewhat prissy, somewhat haughty, still fairly naive daughter of a very rich, very prominent Ul'dahn Dunesfolk family. She recently left (read: stormed out of) home in search of grand adventure in greener grasses (literally, she went to Gridania) and is currently busy being utterly and completely shocked by how nobody is catering to her every need and by what a literally dirty and messy business grand adventuring is. She secretly dreams of being a singer, but don't tell anyone.

Sizh'a Tahjiri

 

A Keeper in his mid 30s who takes life in stride. He's an alchemist by trade and decent with a sword. Has recently discovered a 20 year old son and is struggling to adapt to family life. Extroverted and a bit of a pest, enjoys pushing people's buttons (especially serious people's buttons). Flirty, has no gender or race preference, enjoys one-night stands, but has so far failed to settle down.

Anyway! I give no fucks what your RP style is or how long you've been doing it. Stuff about my RP style and whatnot over at my Balmung Directory post.

 

That's about it. RP with meeeee I love RP you guys.

 

Note: I like romance. I also like to plan for it. If I feel like there is potential, I will ask if you're open to it. If I feel my character is going to start to get interested, I will ask you if you want to go for it - that doesn't mean control their every step, but rather set up the characters to eventually get together by putting them in the right situation. That aside, I like to watch it develop naturally. If it doesn't work, it doesn't. However: I hate being surprised. If we've agreed on romance and you don't want to continue or think it's not working, let me know OOC first. If you want a love triangle, let me know OOC first. If you want a breakup, let me know OOC first. I'm absolutely OK with bumps in the road - just please let me know in advance. I've had to retcon characters entirely because of IC surprises with relationships. If you don't like actively aiming for characters to get together, we don't need to do romance. To me, the thrill is watching the characters struggle as the relationship develops, not the surprise of finding out whether or not it'll work.

Hit me up sometime! I'm on Khyros Oroban, and I'm also RPing at...pretty much those hours of night. Though I may also be tempted to level grind (I'm so close to the end, home stretch!) He's typically in Ul'dah, but is about to take a sabbatical to travel, so he'll be anywhere BUT there for a bit, haha~

I have a general 'bother-at-will' policy, in which I invite people to grab me for their own devices whenever they wish. There's a 90% chance I'm not doing anything important, and a a 2-3% chance I'm preoccupied drawing angry eyebrows screen shots of other people's characters because I am bored.

All of your characters sound very interesting! Unfortunately I get the impression that I would be unable to meet with any of them and your long experience with RP'ing leaves me a little nervous in any case, eheh. Good luck with finding a partner and your stories in general though! I am particularly interested in finding out what will come of Ethne and Maliqa and very curious to see how Elissa's story progresses. I hope you're not totally against forum RP or only do it very rarely >w<  I'd love to read them.

I am looking for a foil to my moody, reserved THM Ashleigh Grey (midlander, 22), and it sounds like Ethne might be a good fit.

 

By foil, I mean personality foil. Someone ( whether it be friend, rival, or other) who might be able to draw her out of her 'trust no one' mindset, and give her a little more depth, as she literally keeps everyone at bay currently.

 

A little bit about Ashleigh: Also stationed in in Ul'dah, she is a very capable THM, with a special affinity for fire, yet she seems very reluctant to use that element, defaulting to lightning instead. She seems very furtive, distrusts authority, is sarcastic, deflects all personal inquiries, but can also be pretty dependable (except when she' s not :P)

 

I also have a Wildwood Isielin Danar'i, 28, who might fit your elezen as friend or rival. Izzy is a 'white knight' type fallen on hard times. She has an internal desire to change the world, but recently has become withdrawn, almost hermitous.

 

About me: I am off and on between 6pm-1am EST most nights ( I work a day job). My main is Claire Fialo, so you'll most likely reach me on there or Ashleigh in game, or you can message me here if interested.

 

Like you, I love OOC communication and cooking up plots together :3. Hope to hear from ya!

Tunnel vision to 50, eh? Just wait for the AF weapon... just wait.

 

If he's typically in Ul'dah he is most likely to run into (or have run into at some point in time) Ethne, Elissa or Maliqa. Since Elissa has no RP yet I'll go ahead and say Elissa. She does travel for ~field research~ often so if he's had run-ins with her before he is likely to remember her, even if it's a "fuck no not you again" kind of meeting. Which, honestly, is likely for her.

 

Though I'm not sure how they'd get along (or in her case, not get along) in terms of personality. I'll try and catch you in-game to ask!

That's basically me except for the angry eyebrows part. On the very tiny chance I'm in a duty or RPing, I'm usually yacking away in a LS anyhow, so it's easy to grab me when I'm free. Shall I contact you in-game so we can pretend to be doing important things together?

 

I'M also looking for rp partner for my character Karaan and this mostly is also my time schedule :). poke in-game or on a private message if you are interested :D

 

I can see Karaan and Elissa having discussion about Aether and bickering xD

3am Eastern is 8am UK or 9am Central European, so you may find some early risers to RP with :bouncy:

Nooo don't be nervous I am the least demanding person ever. But thank you! I don't mind forum RP at all, if I have a reason to do it on top of in-game stuff! All of my RP prior to XIV was done over text/forums/IM/etc, so that's basically my element. And if you ever do want to RP don't be shy! We can think of something.

 

i sent you a PM :) I'm normally on around 9-probably 12 AM EST at the latest. I had ideas for the two Miqo'tes (which you'll seein the PM of course lol) but if you get any ideas for Rae with your characters I'm totally open to hearing them!

Hmm....I'm not sure how I somehow missed this but late is better then never I suppose. I tend to not be on till a bit later then you (1-2AMish EST) but if you happen to be up late and are looking for someone to play with, do send a tell, your characters sound interesting!

Like I said, bother at will. I've burnt out on the story again now that I've murdered the face off another god. Since going on temporary hiatus from dinity laying I've been known to go sit around Wineport making faces at people.

Hey there! I'm quite nocturnal myself and always seeking more RP partners. I have several characters myself and would be happy to mix and match any of them with your characters, but I think Lira'to could get along well with my Miqo'te, X'unmei. She's a young and somewhat naive Seeker of the Sun who left her tribe because she felt like an outcast and didn't agree with the Seeker way of life. I think the similar personalities but completely contrasting backgrounds would be fun to RP, as would watching Lira'to be shocked as X'unmei's Hyur suitor tries to court her.

I want Qin to meet Lyra'to so, so, so badly.

 

I think he'd have a lot to try to teach him.  He is also a Keeper who left his tribe as a boy and has an affinity for magic, but is a smooth talker and loves to try to pick up women.  The whole issues with courtship thing would be hilarious... and both of them could definitely learn something.

 

Hit me up for RP anytime.  I'm usually on from 5 to 8 EST.  8-)

Your schedule is pretty much my most active RP hours, since I'm on by about midnight going on to about 3 AM (EST) due to work, so do feel free to add and/or randomly RP with N'arysha Eshir if you see her. I'm always on the lookout for more late-night players for playing the game or RP, either both or even just one of those.

Double posting to say I updated the first post!

 

I'm also trying to put together a LS concept over here that pretty much all of my alts except probably Cerise (at least right now) would have a reason to affiliate to. It'd likely be a much easier venue for catching me online, since I have all my alts in one place. But, of course, you don't need to join! I'm totally up for RP outside of that.

 

I'm still looking for steady character relationships/partners on all my alts. I have found some! I'm just greedy OK >:C

 

FTR, if our characters don't mesh well, no worries. Also, I'll gladly toss other alts at you if you want!

 

And lastly, the character wanting most for RP right now is Maliqa - she did have some very fun RP with a group, but I sadly haven't seen them on in a few days, so I'm not sure if they're still playing. She's very hard to interact with outside of combat, unless you are a fairly clueless sort who is unlikely to notice her discomfort. If she interests you, please let me know!

 

I'm going to try sending PMs to everyone who posted here but I haven't RP'd with yet, to see if we can set something up.

Naih is a kind hearted selfless person. He takes in injured creatures of the wild despite how powerful or dangerous they could be to cure and readminister them back to the wild.

However, this selflessness soften lands him in trouble or leads to him being misunderstood. He rarely does not get along with people and is as polite as he could be. ICLY he is composing an IC Bestiary of all the creature she has encountered or trained.

 

side note: He is planning on opening a chocobo ranch, he has 5 chicks and a larger adult currently.
