Um... maybe I am misunderstanding but if you really can get the Scions' outfits I will be so happy @@!!! I mean, I'd be pretty sad to see NPC clones running about as I usually would, but there are one or two parts of Minfilla's that I really wanted considering the lack of variety already available TwT ;;;;;

Did any non-NPCs wear Scion outfits? I assumed the video was showcasing some of the crafted (dyeable dungeon gear) with emotes and dances that are being added

 

I am skeptical but they were using our emotes. Also, unless I am mistaken, I remember something similar in a previous video(in which case the subjects were PCs).

I understand Syn's frustrations, please don't attack Syn over expressing them.

 

But please try to understand that this was meant to have fun and enjoy the videos. I understand that for some it may be a slap in the face.

 

On that note... is there a black stetson in game?  Just a point of inquest.

So for the Collection videos, I always try to do a screen-by-screen recap detailing what's being showcased or added in. However, this patch was super hard to do because we don't have a lot of info on where/how all this new gear is getting added. So I did the best I could with the info I had. Any idea what that top is to the far left? Looks snazzy. One of the tops I'd like for formal wear on top of the infantry chest. The middle Roe looks like that is new Caster, crafted cause it looks like it was dyed.

Not sure what it is exactly, or where it comes from, but it's definitely a MNK piece. Those weapons are the Leviathan Claws. So I'm assuming either MNK craftable piece or it's a drop from the new HM dungeons or Ruins of Amdapor.

The fact that the color is different is why I was leaning towards crafted Gerolt item.

 

I could be wrong and it is Allagan2...

It's the new BLM/SMN Allagan gear, yes.

 

If you check The Second Coil of Bahamut section of the Through the Maelstrom Trailer it shows each class in the new Allagan gear.

 

 

5:32 - PLD/WAR Allagan2 w/ Allagan2 Axe

5:38 - BRD Allagan2 w/ Allagan2 Bow in the center of the screen.

5:39 - BLM with the BLM/SMN Allagan2 on far right corner. (it's same as in the picture above)

5:43 - DRG in Allagan2 on left, WAR with Allagan2 in middle, and BRD with Allagan2 slightly to the right behind the WAR. PLD on the far right side of the Ochu in Allagan2 armor like WAR's with red glowy Allagan2 sword/shield combo.

5:49 - SCH on far right is wearing WHM/SCH Allagan2. Better shot of it at 5:54

5:54 - MNK Allagan2 w/ Allagan2 claws running away from Medusa.

5:59 - Shows a close-up view of the BLM/SMN Allagan2.

6:02 - Another good view of the WHM/SCH Allagan2 on bottom of screen.

Well we've seen several Masterwork items already (they aren't crafted - purchased via Soldiery tomestones), and none of them resemble the aesthetic of Allagan armor.

 

I'm going to try and not get my hopes up that SE realized the stupidity in not letting people dye gear.

They can all be dyed. There's plenty of evidence of this in the Through the Maelstrom Trailer and Spring Collection video.

Yeaaaah... I realized that the reason I thought the Allagan was not is because I thought it was a different color and I realize now that it's not a different color I was just seeing it in different shades.

 

I think Gerolt's may be dyeable.

Looks the same, but palette swap. In the trailer, the warrior against Mog was wearing the latter.

Your images aren't working.

 

I'm not going to trust it until I see it in action. Been burned too many times by stupid things in MMOs. It could easily be just different versions.

 

[edit] If it is the case... I really hope they opened up dyeing on the old gear (especially Allagan, the mythology tomestone sets, and Darklight) as well. :S
