I'd like to schedule a small gathering to learn the ways of thaumaturgy this Friday (16th May) at around 11pm GMT (6pm EST/3pm for you West coasters!)

 

Apparently I have no choice in learning from the great master Avalt, unless I want to be hexed, so sign Rinh up!

 

It has a nice ring to it!

Given I am getting back into the game and such again I'm a little weary of volunteering to host classes. ^^; I'd say Marauder easily enough due to the fact that IC I've been conned into training more then a few people one on one.

 

 

As far as my other thoughts.. I'd love to get my hands on training a group of smiths (for either of the two crafts) but I think I'll wait till in the game I hit 50 at the least so I have access to the max level gear. Also the smith training would be a good enough excuse for my character to stay from the field work she seems to dread :P So still on that note I shall meander back in here in about 10 levels so if all goes well it'll be in the next few days and I'll see if I can't pin down some times I'm actually free (two children makes it a little complicated but this seems like more then a fun idea).

Well I checked the doodle and the three that voted chose Thursday. So, the next Lancer lesson will be held Thursday, the 15th at 6pm PST. All are welcome to come even if you have not signed up! Three students are confirmed, but there is likely going to be a fourth as well. I can easily accommodate more.

 

Meet at the Lancer's Guild in Gridania. We may or may not find a different location to train after the lesson starts. If you arrive at the guild and no one is there, send a tell to Kiht Jakkya. I will tell you where we re-located.

 

Feel free to bring your favored pole-arm weapon. :)

Woo! So now that I have a workshop store thinger up and done..

 

Ryllyn is beginning to steer the Union into more of an innovation focus. She can teach smithing (gold smithing, armor smithing, black smithing) , Creation of Pharmaceuticals, and of course automaton creation and repair.  She is taking students as advertised upon her shop's sign, but of course she will also teach at one of the guilds should she be called there.  If anyone's interested in being an apprentice or just general student hit me up and I'd be happy to make a curriculum.

Wow this is so awesome, kiht im totally being a lancer for my first character ever. 

can't wait to participate in your lancer classes.

Wish I could had join on either Kestlona Guhtegeiswyn or John Waterstrike.  Unfortunately, neither of them are high enough in level to ride the aire ship to Gridania.  Not sure which I'll use.  Kest is more into the fist to face kind of gal.  John might be more willing and would also follow in his sister footsteps (who took of the sword and shield before she was killed).

Another amazing class for lancers ;) Kujh was a lot of fun to roleplay, I hope his rebellions were taken with enjoyment and not with annoyance. I particularly loved to get stuck with the spear in the guild's wall. xD

 

When Kiht left, Luc'a gave Kujh a royal scolding, so maybe he will behave a little next time :roll:!

aww *sad face* i wish i could have made it to kiht's lancer lesson, it would have been so much fun.:(

Kujh and Luc'a were great as usual. However, I could certainly take on more students, and would like to. Three others were going to show up, but did not. Oh well....

 

Made the Doodle for next week. I am loving this too much to stop. :D

So the Thaumaturge show went well in the sense of construction, but it derailed and I felt bad(over it) for August's part in derailing it. But it has set me up for an excellent opportunity to make use of one of August's plots. So hurray for that.
