Tumblr Information

I don't know why, for the 100th time, I've tried to pick up tumblr when it does nothing but find new and interesting ways to frustrate me every time I make the attempt. But..

I need help. (Surprise, surprise.)

I've added a Quote post, as you can see. But holy light colored text on light colored background, Batman! I've Google searched every single unhelpful resource on the Internet and found nothing. Hoped I might find something here, but didn't find anything specific to what I was looking for.

There's no options on the Edit Theme side of things to change colors for this. This is literally all I have for color options here:

I thought maybe "Title color" was what affected the Quote posts' color since the colors are so similar. But after messing with it, I was wrong. And for the life of me, I can't find anything anywhere that even remotely affects the Quotes.

Somebody haaalp. I'm completely tumblr illiterate but I want to post my drabbles and pictures and music and art like all the cool kidsssss. ;A;

All right lovely. Here's what you're going to want to do:

> Customize (to edit your theme)

> Up at the top click, " Edit HTML."

> Ctrl-F (Your "Find Text" tool). This should open a small "text" box over the code.

> Search for: "ede2d1" or "eae0d1" it should be one of those colors, likely the former. Change it to something like, "332826" (that's the dark brown).

Alternatively, you can try looking for, "fff," or, "ffffff" but there might be more of it making narrowing it down a little harder (that would change the white background). If that doesn't work let me know and I'll try to give you something else to do. <3

Even though I read the first part, and I am sorry but you'll need to help me out here. I am a bit confused on how to make categories like I do for Wordpress.

(Wordpress user here so I am still new to all of these.)

Though I feel like Tumblr isn't really used for long type of words like blogger/wordpress does.

Even though I read the first part, and I am sorry but you'll need to help me out here. I am a bit confused on how to make categories like I do for Wordpress.

(Wordpress user here so I am still new to all of these.)

Though I feel like Tumblr isn't really used for long type of words like blogger/wordpress does.

Admittedly, I'm uncertain what "categories" are like. I've not ever used wordpress. Maybe someone else might be able to help? I know you can make pages with tumblr, which might have the same effect? You can see pages on my blog:

I don't want to be a bother, but could mine please get moved to in character- multiple? It's meant to be mostly in character after all (for all my RP alts) , with only occasional ooc posts. I mean, if any ooc whatsoever disqualifies me, then okay, it's just that IC is the main focus. I do know the blog is pathetic so far, but I just haven't had many interactions since I'm trying to get to chocobo level.

I've gone ahead and put this in the OOC section because I'm trying to keep the IC section to strictly IC / Almost always IC. However, if you feel like your blog is more OOC than IC, I'll move it.

The struggle is real. ;_;

I've been chewing on doing the exact same thing for my Elezen and I haven't much real tumblr'ing since GW2. Since Ms Moonlit helped me with/got me into it back then, I'm just gonna blame her. >_>
