It's kind of weird how Square Enix does things, but yes. I've confirmed that transfer is blocked via Mogstation. But you can create characters. It seems like there were massive amount of transfer applications from various EU servers that they decided to move to here so chances are that they've closed it temporarily to ease the transfer application congestion. It's not exactly -overpopulated- but letting Omega to take slow digestion from all these moving players. It'll likely lift up once the techies are going to finish determining how many Omega players are exactly out there. Character creating during busy EU time was reported as closed for an hour or so via Reddit post.

There is apparently Goblin server for Roleplayers too. There are plenty of housings available last time I checked. I am aware that Mateus is almost full in housing for those who has been seeking one.

Going to see if I can bump this to encourage more RP communities grow besides Balmung and Mateus if possible. Since it doesn't hurt to create multiple areas. Can confirm that Goblin still has plenty of housing slots available here for those who were seeking for one in Mateus and are too late in finding one in particular zones.

Hey guys, Are there any other preferred worlds such as Goblin that may have RP worlds? A friend of mine is currently in Goblin and is asking about if there maybe RP community there instead of Mateus since he transferred for his family members. He doesn't want to make another character in Mateus if possible.

Balmung will never be RP official server. It never was and it was legacy server. Stop asking ridiculous questions. This is the reason we got quarantined because people wrongfully assumed Balmung was officially RP server. Toxicity is already existing. Diversity is harsh before any labeled server.

I have friends that I play with. So likely is no. I wouldn't move. But it also doesn't mean I would tell people to come to Balmung because it's just overpopulated and no RP community should be based under one server

I think people did talk about how Balmung has been congested since about last year and half ago that it was wise to let new communities build their own. But it was thrown into garbage can because most Balmung community felt that it was important to stick everyone in one server. So yeah, we do have more players than Heavensward launch. Data transfer to stabilize or not, it's bound to crash frequently in Balmung for first week imo. Early Access will just be unplayable then first week of that will be worse for those who wanted to play right on the launch date.

The data server transfer to make it stable wasn't really helping for Make It Rain event. After all, it is Balmung. And this explains that Stormblood will be worse.

This is the biggest thing that makes me want to go to Mateus or make a character for that reason

I've never been of that fan who has to stick with one server solely for one type of purpose. If anything, I would rather prefer them to make more Roleplaying servers to spread out. So I am for designating multiple RP servers.
