Welcome!! As other people have stated already, finding a Linkshell and Free Company is a good way to start, apart from wandering through the city-states. There are plenty of RP Linkshells and also OOC linkshells that are mainly used for networking, which can also help break the ice and toss ideas around for you to get involved! I'm on Balmung, too. So if you ever see Amelia Almandine or Slayd Markee running around, say hello! I've been wanting to get back into RP myself after a brief RP hiatus. I always thought Garuda was based off of the mytholocal creature- the Harpy. And I think those creatures WERE female. Though I understand in FFXIV lore they'd asexual.

I'm actually at the point where I'd pay real money for more glamour gear as well... though my willingness to pay the occassional micro transaction is usually met with animosity. And thus.... chachachachacha :cactuar: ((That... that's me... running away as a cactuar... >_>))

Yeah vendor trash was a veritable gold mine of rp gear, a pity FF14 doesn't really have that, sure we have vendor trash but for the most part its all just crafting mats. It's a strange balance. I like that my bags are filled with useless gray items. At least with crafting items, they're somewhat useful. But it would be nice to have some simple items for RP and Glamour.

Dude... This is someone else's thread. I think at this point if you want to continue insulting and passive aggressively bullying someone, you should at least have the decency to take it into a private chat. There is no reason you should have a condescending discussion in someone else's thread that they made just for fun and continue onward trying to humiliate that person. Faye's comment was on topic. You jumping down her throat knocked it completely off into some sort of passive aggressive flame war. I think you need to tone it down and/or take it to private chat.

I've heard of this happening to other people, too. Some people have just logged in again and it worked.

I have a post in the questions to the producer thread about getting more of those awesome NPC clothes made available to players. That chemise/bodice look from Lominsa, the corset/chemise look in Costa del Sol, the elaborate gold-trimmed robes from Ul'dah, those AWEsome robes that the Male Miqo'te in Thanalan wear... WE MUST HAVE THEM ALL! I'm hoping that if we get a bunch of likes on it, it might be popular enough to get asked on the LIVE letter show... and maybe... just maybe we can see them made available to us in the future!
