Hello RPC, I have returned from a long absense to the game as of yesterday. However it has sadly come to my attention that I am no longer able to be around for US prime time and therefore I am looking for some more EU timezone friendly people (I am GMT) to hang out with. LS, FC any of those things really. Mainly looking for RPz and people who like to run stuff because I am -waaaaaay- behind on everything and more than a little rusty. Anyways hope to see some of you around

So I'm thinking I want to do a bit of a FF marathon, starting with I and making my way through the whole numbered series (sans XI) what I'm wondering is which version of each game to play through. I'll likely grab the DS versions of III and IV because I like their updates as well as the steam/PC version of VII. As for the others well, I'm not sure which versions are best. So what do other people think? :chocobo:

Thanks Yeah we figured it would be the best way to do things really, this way it frees people up for the type of RP they are looking for but still get to see that sweet sweet PvE content with interested members of the community here.

Possibly for one or two alts, but on for the most part no I have to say.

The more and more I hear about this the more and more I like it. One of my personal gripes about 1.0 was it didn't feel Final Fantasy enough, now are they maybe over compensating for that fact? You betcha! Am I happy about it? You also betcha! I'd like to see this happen more often in fact. I can understand some people are worried about this opening the floodgates to people bringing characters along from other universes. But to be fair people who want to do that would have done it anyway. Most people will be sensible with it and even if they aren't you still have the option to not RP with them.

Hahaha Hadn't thought about that in a while. It's probably getting a little worn now, might have to replace it.

Hmm... mostly been in MMO limbo really, GW2 didn't pan out so well due to there actually being nothing to do once you got to max level and bought gear. Wildstar RP community is keeping me busy, but still the most fun I've had in RP is with the FFXI/XIV people so ARR is something I was always going to keep an eye on. I really hope SE pull it off!
