I was under the impression that the 10th son thing was a result of their number system, not really because they made that many suffixes just in case they had 10 sons. (Seems a lot more effective to name someone suzy'ten than suzy'blah, so when you eventually have suzy'eleven, you're not scrambling for what word to make up for that kid)

Mine would have a small notebook where she could write down all her notes and doodles, her ideas and things worth remembering. I may actually acquire a small notebook myself so I could perform such actions as I RP. I might even upload them if someday if I ever decide to not be a lazy person.

As far as evolution goes, I think we can pretty much throw that out the window. The fact that the races can crossbreed means there's no genetics in the game, races just sort of... exist, which means there's no chance they evolved from anything. The seekers' breeding methods are pretty much based on passing on strong genes to the next generation.. I'm pretty sure the living things in Hydaelyn have genes, just maybe the intelligent races are more compatible than their appearances would suggest... (Also you two are confusing how sexually dominant a person is with how powerful a person is. I find it hard to believe a Miqo'te's role in bed is the defining basis of their entire being.)

That's a lot to quote, so I'm not gonna. >.>; I wasn't trying to give the impression that they were some kind of freakish locust swarm, consuming all of the things. I was just imagining them as the Viera might see them; as outsiders that take what they need without any regard to the established balance (or rather, the balance defined by the Viera). (Yes, I know I didn't communicate that at all, but it's what happened, ok? >.>) You and I suspect many of the same things about them (the nomadic possibilites, the "we do for us, you do for you" vibe). So just kinda.. woah there..

I... don't really understand what that means. Are you saying tribal peoples who hunt for food don't love nature (because hunting/playing/living in nature doesn't mean loving it) or were you saying the Miqo'te were a race who despoiled nature and thus don't love it? Because I don't really... didn't really follow that... Nononono. Not saying that they're some kind of Captain Planet villain or anything, just they take what they need/ they do what they do to survive. They may have a healthy respect for their habitat, but their reputation as poachers implies that they may not always have conservation on their minds. In the eyes of the Viera they could be seen less as a devout lover of nature, and more as an invasive species.

The Miqo'te aren't like... Druidic or anything, not necessarily at one with the elements or what have you, not as a culture anyways. They enjoy the hunt, and seem to as a race prefer living in the wild like animals do. So the main difference I suppose could be that the Miqo'te are the more feral side of nature and the Viera could be the more gentle side of nature, though that kind of defeats the comments of people saying they want them to be the badass side of nature. Well that depends on your definition of badass. Passionate Sentinels of nature sure sounds badass to me! (They could be super cruel to any careless litterer.) (Ripping out the still beating heart of a BP executive.) But it would also drastically limit their ability to be used as a playable race without just saying "some of them don't care as much so they go out and become adventurers." And yet we have plenty of city-state hating Duskwights joining Grand Companies. Good gracious it's 5:40am I need to sleep.

Well, aren't Elezen just taller, lankier, funny-eared Hyur with tiny heads? Yes, and Lalafell are tiny pudgy Hyur with pointy heads, Roegadyn are larger bulkier Hyur with broad heads, and Miqo'te are shorter, stockier Hyur with cat heads. Very BROAD generalizations aside, I was comparing more than just their looks, I was also comparing to most likely scenario for their lore as well. Each race has very distinct lore that separates them by more than just their differing appearances. If we assume the Viera-like race would also be a nature loving tribal race with strong ties to hunting and magic (I only say magic because almost all the pictures I've found from FF Tactics were either mages or archers with one duelist and one thief) then they are basically identical to the Miqo'te lore. They'd even problem get categories the same exact way with one clan having darker skin tones and hair color and the other having pale skin and light hair which would make them seem even more identical to the Miqo'te. I was under the impression that the Miqo'te were less nature-loving, more I'm-going-to-hunt-and-eat-and-kill/play-all-of-nature. If that's the case, these two races could be very much at odds with each other. I will BITE you if you continue to keep me away from my sexy bunnyman abs.

They would probably be the tallest race, if they were added. <3 As for the tails... I am not a 100% sure. It's been a long time since I've played XII. Most of the images I've seen they appear to be tail-less. Ears don't count! If they don't, SE better fix that. Need my Mr Bouncing Bunny Butt havin' a tail to swish back and forth as he runs.

No way! Miqo'te are far more compact! These guys would be like buff Elezen, but without the weird proportions! Also, do Viera have bunny tails too, or is it just the ears? (This'll be my first FF title, so I've never really seen much outside of XIV's website. )

I love that artwork. I was just looking up that exact image. He does look quite awesome, fantastic muscle structure. I'd make him my waifu so fast it would cause Einstein's corpse to burst into tears.
