Bingo! Yes, I did play with the Lost Boys. I'll admit I did so much RP with them that I think I only got through about 40% of the game content because our story was so much fun. I was both Asterius (my main) and Rendan (my alt). During 1.0, I rebooted as Aelis Gailarde, but alas...1.0....need we say more? I'll submit my application a little later today and cross my fingers.

I run around on my Highlander female character (Nenith Estra) in the Quicksand and never get harassed. Then again, she is dark skinned with bright hair and black lipstick...I guess that attracts a specific crowd. 8-):cactuar:

Greetings, I'm returning to FFXIV and I'd love to return to roleplaying as well; I did RP in FFXI on the Leviathan server for a handful of years and would describe myself as being experienced but a little rusty. I enjoy everything that the FC description has above, specifically the story arc and the LGBTQ section, but am saddened by the recruitment being closed. Is there some way to interview a member or officer to see if an accommodation or exception could be made? I have two characters that I could use, and would love to talk with someone about what the FC needs or current story elements to decide which one to pursue. Of all the FCs I've scanned here, this one appeals the most to me, so I am hoping that we can work something out. Thanks!

I was curious about this myself, so I checked it out. Unfortunately, they're rolling on Figaro, so I don't think we'll be seeing much of them. That is kinda sucky. Maybe that will change after Blue Gartr crashes their party train?

If that ends up happening, do we go with choice #2?

Yay! I pass everything on recommended save CPU (which makes no sense, as the game is not optimized for quad cores and hyper-threading anyway, bizarre right?)! But serious question, why did my Sapphire Radeon 4850 X2 show up as having 744mb ram instead of the, like, 2gigs it actually has inside. It passes recommended, so I'm not unhappy, just confused.

I think the benchmark may be a little old, seeing as it was released during Alpha testing. Additionally, it has been mentioned before that SE is biased for iNvidia parts and non-hyperthreading processors. So, anything "new" has a 50% chance of running the game, but not really helping you at all if its made by AMD or an intel CPU with hyper threading. example: my i5-650 with a 1 gig (ddr3) nvidia 9800 GT got a 2200 on low settings and 1280 on high. This dual core processor has hyper-threading. Same processor with a 2 gig (ddr3) Sapphire radeon 4850 X2 got a 2800 on low and 1800 on high. Simply, I now believe this benchmark to be cracked (not broken) and in need of fixing. Perhaps making it run full screen on both settings (without being windowed) would give a better result. Also, making it hyper-threading and AMD gpu compatible (as I believe the beta is now more AMD friendly; conformation please? I'm *still* not in it) would help.Then again, I'm not a software engineer or game designer, so I may not know what I'm talking about. But some days I think some of the people designing and making choices for SE don't know either.

I have another kitteh, a large tabby named Pigwidgeon (Yes, another HP name), who is called Piggy for short (hence the LARGE). Both she and Mack move so fast its hard to get them to sit still long enough for a digital camera to grab a shot. Getting this yesterday was a miracle.
