Lost River

Can anyone help me? Please? Anyone? I'm a MegaTen fan, I know the basis and understand the whole "Attack the Weakness for Maximum Damage" type bit. But I am going in blind. I'm getting both Pokemon, mind you.

With me, given the circumstances, I don't really find much of anything offensive, even the dark, gritty, disgusting sort. If that floats your boat, that's fine. What I -do not- like though are two things. People being jerks/asses/bitches (insert gender nickname for negative influencing person) OOCly to someone else. Being mean and rude is no way to be to someone, even if your character is a jerkface, you don't have to follow suit. And... while I am accepting of what people want to do, you do -not- force your RP on others, even if other people like to roleplay. Not everyone is in the same sort of things you do, forcing your viewpoint on someone else when they do -not want it- is bad. Terribly bad. It also shows you have no sense of boundaries or consent among other people.

With arcade or semi-arcade style games (Call of Duty and Battlefield respectively), it isn't suitable, sure it's a pipe dream. But it could realistically be put in actual military simulators, such as ARMA for example. Odd as it sounds, but I'd actually enjoy seeing this sort of thing in those military simulators. It'd make hell of a lot of sense to add to the realism.

I like Roegadyns, even with all their faults. And funny you bring up WoW. At least we didn't go male human. I swear, they must be the missing link or something. Gorilla mutant men!

I'm honestly not much of a fan of Pokemon, I didn't get a handheld until later in the hand-held generation (Nintendo handheld mind you, not all together); DS Lite with my own money. Parents had a rule growing up. You either get a console or a handheld. I always went console. I'm quite the MegaTen fan (Shin Megami Tensei) which in itself, can be considered an adult (mature) Pokemon. Although, -this- series actually has be interested and curious... so I am running blind into Pokemon, any suggestions, people who have played Pokemon since hay-day or newcomers like me?

As with the whole Garlean rule bit; I believe they only give the natives of their army/nation the advanced weaponry while conscripts of the invaded/annexed nations get basic armaments. It's to keep rebellion down lower when your rank and file, especially those from conquered nations are given basically 'sticks and stones' when you have the 'bomb'.

Well, realistically, you lose your rump when you add the strength. So, the best thing? Start feeding Sio cake. Lots and lots of cake.

You could be related to Lost River (Hah, both names are based on water) from either marriage (as Lost is a Hellsguard, but her mother remarried a Sea Wolf) or by lineage, she does have Sea Wolves in her actual genetic family. Lost River is a survivor from the Battle of Carteneau; a black mage, she had a touring party but she was the only survivor. She was thought to be dead, but of course now has resurfaced in the viewpoint of the public. Perhaps Salty can be the first family member she runs into. Some back-plot if you wanted to use.

Well, today we've learned that Sio is a butt person. Also, that scary eyes are scary. And Lalafells are adorable.

Don't be afraid to draw Lost too with Sio, you know, running after her with grabby hands. Hehe. On topic note, nice artwork.

As I said, are there any RP FC that do not focus all their events or at least most of their events on the weekends? I do not have the weekend free and when I do, it's generally after 10 PM EST Friday - Saturday, and 8 PM EST on Sunday. My type of work I do is only on the weekends.

Woot, woot! Another Roegadyn! Lost River may be a Hellsguard, but more Roes and a female at that, yay! We're slowly coming up to be the same popularity as a Hyur... we have to be realistic, no one can match the might of the Miqo'te kitty horde.

Well, first month of subscription gets an item that you can change your gender, religion, appearance and such. As for name, there will be a name change service in the future. As for cutting my losses? I only do it if I don't have a certain amount of time with a given character. If it's a short time (say 10 hours or less), I can recoup lost time. Sure it sounds like a lot of time, but for MMOs it isn't.

It's fine, you can totally blame it on Lost. I totally made Sio blush and knock over the PC server. >.> Quick edit. I totally noticed I didn't have enough totally in it, so I put more totally into it. Totally awesome, right? :3 Look forward to RPing with this group more often, especially as the leader is flabbergasted by Lost River. Totally.

Welcome, Welcome! I suggest immediately seeking out Lost River. She's a tall, buxom Roegadyn lass who is mysterious, oh so mysterious and awesome. You can be awesome too, everyone loves being awesome with Lost. Yep, yep!

Does your character fit the 'common' lore of your Roegadyn or are they singular? (Eg. Raised by hyur so does not understand X or Y = singular) 80% Traditional. The only difference is that Lost River's father lost his life in Ul'dah due to gambling debts (she was young), her mother moved to Limsa Lominsa and remarried a Sea Wolf instead of another Hellsguard. Other than the usual spat, she had a pretty normal life. (up until she started adventuring anyway). 3. What are your Rp limits, if any? (Eg: no permadeath, no ERp etc) Honestly, I am fine for anything, except permadeath unless it has a valid reason. Lost River is a 1.0 character and I don't plan on losing all that experience as of yet, I love my shiny tattoo too!
