Nedral began rummaging through the different bottles and finally found one with the blue label with flames on the back wall. It was nearly empty, but there was enough for at least three more glasses. "Aha, here it is." She announced. She grabbed an empty glass from the front of the bar with one hand while retrieving the vial from her pocket with the other, then turned back to the bottle. She upturned the vial for a moment then uncorked it and squeezed one drop of the liquid from the cork into the glass while pouring the drink at the same time. She quickly recorked the vial and slipped it back into her pocket. She then grabbed another bottle and, while carrying the oosquai as well, went back to the table and set the glass and bottles down, sliding the glass to Serenla. "Here you are." She said, pouring a drink for herself.

Nedral forced a polite smile and lifted up the bottle she had gotten from the bar. "This one is empty, I'm afraid. What would you like? I'll get it for you." She said and made her way to the bar.

Nedral looked up from her drink as the Lalafell walked into the bar, breathing rather heavily, looked around then headed towards the stairs. Nedral set her drink down and got up, slightly interjecting herself between the stairs and the woman, putting her hand out slightly to further bar the path. "Excuse me, sorry. Serenla, right? Shamad wanted me to tell you that he's resting and he doesn't want to be disturbed. Your little run tired him out." Nedral signaled to an empty seat at the table for Serenla to sit in. "Would you like a drink?"

I'm curious as to how they'll regulate this surplus thing. What are they basing it on? A certain percent of people on the server who are XX level? Or will it be done by class? Say the average highest level of Gladiator is 60, does that then prevent EVERY gladiator from getting past 60? Or will be be guild/friend list based? I'm not whining about it, I'm just overly curious. Regardless of this surplus issue (or the 48 hour cool down) I'm still going to play the damn game.

Ahh, very good. I was getting a little concerned because I've beta tested every MMO i've played (well, almost every one) and I was bummed out I didn't get into the closed beta. I got the CE, finished paying it off yesterday, so I'll be there for the early access.

When is the open beta? Is it that 8 day early access thing with the collectors edition?

Honestly, I kinda started to have a down-ward opinion on Square when they merged with Enix. Both companies on their own had awesome games (Valkyrie Profile FTWx10000000) But now it just seems they put out more remakes than anything else. And most of their characters look the same. But, that doesn't deter me from playing the next Final Fantasy! (and yes, I am well aware that all of Enix's game's were published by Squaresoft) Oh yeah, FFXIV. I can't really complain because I haven't played the game. The only thing I see that I might not like is this 48 hour cool down on the, whatever it is. I don't really know what that is, but a 48 hr cool down seems a bit much. Can't wait for the next Valkyrie Profile! They left the most awesome Valkyrie for last! Hrist. And we'll get her in all the PS3-goodness glory of AWESOME!

Well, should we look into making a new thread to finish what was started? I think the oasis died.

Excellent choice, Malrend. Demons and Wizards rock! I'm hearing a lot of great music from you guys! Believe it or not, this simple thing (finding a theme song for a character) Helps define him/her tremendously. When developing a character for a script, I often turn to musical inspiration to develop a character before anything else. Here's Luther's theme: (Just imagine the lead singer is a big Roegadyn ) **edit** Oh dammit, almost forgot Aixa's theme. She was developed in a very depressed state of mind, apparently. The name of the song is 'Heaven' by DJ Sammy (I'm sure some of you have heard it) It's the candlelight remix.

I figured since there was a "Cast your Character" thread, I'd make one about our character's theme songs. Try and keep it to one song; I know some of you will want to post, say, five songs for one character and another eight for the next. Try and find one song that sums up your character pretty well; if you have to post two, that's fine. I'll start it off (obviously) The song I find that sums up Nedral in many ways, but obviously not all, is 'Wither' by Dream Theater, one of my favorite bands. It runs through most of the emotions Nedral has run through before, and after, being transferred into Aixa's body.

Well, it's official. I transfered my $17 deposit on a preorder for FFXIV standard edition to the special edition and put down the final $63. So I'll see some of you 8 days sooner than the rest!

Stumbled on this one, figured I needed to get in on it. The person I would have to cast for Nedral would be, no doubt, Aya Ueto. She was the first person to come to mind when I read into this thread. If you've seen any of the Azumi movies, then you're awesome! Azumi's personality is nearly spot-on with Nedral's.

Should we continue without you Tadir? I'm not trying to be impatient or anything nor am I not saying I want to continue without you. I'm simply curious as to your intentions.

So is the monthly fee $11 or something?

Well that's crappy. There's no reason for them to have to do that, but oh well. Looks like Nedral is it for me.
