So.... what do I do when there is hour long maintenance? (other then say stupid things and hide in a digital corner). I draw stupid ideas, like this one. I know lore wise Conjurers "borrow/ask for" power from the elemental, and since there has been a rash of pokemon "alternate" breeds, I figured it wouldn't hurt (much) to do the same for the FFXIV elementals spirits (NOT the sprites). Note: I'm aware of the actual in-game models.

Most of them needs touch ups, but for complete redos, there's only one I really want to hit the nuke button to, The star. There's something about his pose that doesn't feel like Juno (granted, it could be because I know the guy pretty damn well). But any others which the card character's player dislike I can redo as well if they ask.

I tried to join the skype list and I don't think I ever got on there. <_<;a I'm INSANELY addicted to Tumblr, but I've not actually RPed on there other than writing little snippets of stories. Franz' suggestion sounds good though if you can shake yourself out of feeling intimidated by the forums a bit! If there are people like me, it's far easier to say that then actually do that, but that's a whole different beast and conversation that doesn't need to go here. I was just inquiring because some people may find it easier to try and break in with at least some OOC interactions, which are less intimidating then RPing/Preforming. But everyone is different, and there are different things and methods that work for different people.

This may of been answered already, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask; But what about out-of-game options to talk to people in the community? I mean, even the forums can be a little intimidating to people on the fringes. I know there is a skype/tumblr list, but Skype requires people to be proactive (and when your shy like me, it's hard to work up the nerve to just ask someone to add you and such) and Tumblr is... uhm... Tumblr.

It's not that I want to get them done in one bunch, it's that I need to know how to deal with the 7 cards left that need to be finished but the winners haven't contacted me at all, or even shown interest in some cases. edit; Oh, and then there's the bonus cards... I'm never getting to the pin up project at this rate.
