Hmmmm, Perhaps my wording was too harsh. I Put it that way because I want to avoid people requesting art just because they can. Kind of how like you should never get a bunny because it's Easter. If you already have a wiki, great! Then you should have no issues. If your RPC Wiki lacks it, but you do have him as part of your character, go ahead, ask for a picture! (then maybe go and ask somewhere ask for Wiki code to add it on later on? The rpc wiki is a great resource for your fellow players if you work on it) if your really worried, CHECK with me. I'm usually free and willing to talk. If you need a pet drawn because it will be used at some time soon for IC reasons, because it will enhance your RP, then you may request it. If you have a plot that you need a unique pet drawn, then please go right ahead and PM me so it doesn't ruin the surprise. Have a Unique mount? Sure! Just... I need to know what makes it unique... >_>; If you want me to draw you riding Midgar while wearing arseless chaps.... uhm..... Lemme think about that. Inspired by This awesome event (THE GREAT EORZEAN PET PARADE) (go visit it and lets make it awesome people) I came to realize something. While we have great, awesome resources for our characters, our beloved pets? ....Not so much. Sooooo, here's the deal. If you character has an IC pet mentioned in their Wiki, tell me about it. Give me details on how they differ from the minion model (bows, collars, scars, things they do) and when I need a break from drawing the two legged, half nekkid sort, I'll give them a proper Wiki article portrait. Let me help you get a resource for making the RP community here a better place (because there has been too much drama, not enough fluffy love). Dolls and Magitek bits count too, even non-in game companions that are "running around in your house" so long as you can give me a good enough description. (example? here) Siha Xinkei's carbuncle There are some ground rules... They MUST be established. Do not simply decide that you want a pet for art. I will be checking (besides, i like reading rpc wikis) One pet per person, sorry, but... I will refresh the entries if you have more then one, but there are only so many ways to make a fat cat look unique at a time!) These are done in my spare time between other projects, so I cannot give you a set time line of when they will appear. They may appear enmass, or they may take a week. While they are for your pet, please be aware that not everyone will respect it was done for you or even give proper credit for the sources (that is a whole nother can of worm, giving credit of artists, that i will NOT go into - try to make it an issue, and... well... No, please don't) but please be aware of this As always, I reserve the right to refuse to draw something. Most people know I usually don't turn people down, but I am human. If there's RL reasons, I'd rather not give you an inferior quality drawing.

Being from the period of 1.0 I would say it's not impossible. The original layout of the world was interconnected until the re-design forced them to separate the zones in order to ease loading zones. Though there were Invisible "walls" that kept the low levels from jumping down to their doom (and no jump in general), it showed they were possible. I doubt the 1.0 version will be the one they bring back however, due to the fact it was a land that was unaffected by the calamity, but until they can re-assign people for the task, i'd say not to hold your breath and take time to enjoy the beauty of our recovering little world as it is before we are herded off to a new adventure.

Ok, on a super serious note, I do have a question. If I were to throw up a link on say... my tumblr for a link to a "tip jar" would I be breaking any RPC rules? I am not asking for payment on any works, nor will I "withhold" images or any promised works. It's just that... all my works lately have demolished, utterly my wacom tip supply, as in.... Yeesh, and these suckers aren't cheap unfortunately, and wacom charges 5 bucks to even ship them out (that's half the cost of an actual refill ironically). I'm not a commission artist currently (I have personal... roadblocks atm with me and asking for money for my work), but I am also running out of these things. The idea behind the tipjar, is that just; it is not a promise that I will draw something for you in exchange for the tip, nor would I be obligated to do so once a tip is given and on the same note, I will still be drawing if no one threw in anything in the jar. I wouldn't set a minimum limit other then a dollar because paypal fees, nor honestly actively panhandle much, but I figure it doesn't hurt asking? Also i just realized the concept of a Tip jar is somewhat literal in this case... TL : DR? If you don't want to pay or unsure of paying, you don't have to. Unless I open paid commissions, which will have a SET price tag, agreed by both members of the working contract before I start, you will never be required to pay for work I give out, EVER. It is there as an option for people because they, of their own volition wish to do so. I draw because I love the RP community, its members, and the environment, and I offer pictures because I can.

Oh, on a similar note, there's been some issues with imgur lately, mostly on the uploading end. It seems an old issue of it basically being a jerk when your trying to upload to your gallery and failing is happening again. Not sure when they'll fix it, but I think a lot of sites will be having issues.

If there is anything I have to say about Nick, is that I admire his willingness to follow his urge to draw. He may be starting out now, taking baby steps, but the very fact he's willing to pester me for help with his techniques and actually LISTEN to them. I've seen a lot of other people struggle and refuse to admit they need help, and it takes considerable thought to go up to someone and ask for help. We may not always agree, or the time may not be right, but I think the fact he realizes he wants help is a good thing.
