Fantastic job! This makes me miss decorating even more. In EQ2, a friend and I built a chess board in one of our houses. We ended up building several more for friends, including one in a guild hall. It was very popular when they would hold events. Looking forward to hitting 50 so I can an apartment. Don't judge me! I'm a slow leveler! :lol: (I enjoy crafting and roleplaying too much. :angel: )

I'd definitely be up for this. While not born in the Twelveswood, Arianne was raised there from a very young age. I'd love to see more rp happen around Gridania and the Shroud to get Arianne involved in. I'll look for you in game, Kiht.

So not happy about this. I was really looking forward to the personal housing. In the beginning, I didn't run out and join a rp Free Company because myself and a few friends were working on our own Free Company in the hopes of getting a place we could use as family housing. We decided against it when they starting talking about personal housing, on top of the fact that within hours of adding more wards, all the small houses were taken. At this point, I'm done. Guess I'll just get one of the little apartments attached to whatever rp guild I end up joining. At least that is a guarantee.

Sadly, if it's implemented anything like the FC housing was, buy the time I get the money to buy one, they'll all be gone...*sigh*

Arianne is actually a twin, and while I no longer play that twin, it had been suggested to me at one time that I should play both characters on one. The thought was since the twins were such different jobs, that I could associate the job with the character. When I was a White mage/conjurer, I was Arianne. When I was a bard/archer, I was her twin, Arielle. It would have worked since the two were identical twins, the only difference being their attire and hair style. I personally don't see a problem with it. I'm a fairly open minded person and I have seen people pull off some pretty amazing things roleplay-wise. There is always the possibility of people mixing up the two characters, but in the case of identical twins, that is a common reaction and can be hilarious to play out. If I were to bring back Arianne's twin at some point, that's probably the way I would do it so I don't have to level up another character. Great topic!

I came a bit late to the party compared to some here, as I didn't join FFXIV till Beta 4, however when I did join, I was instantly hooked. I'd pretty much been drifting since my days in EQ on the FV server. Only a few games have been able to hold a candle to EQ as far as my enjoyment, FFXI among the short list. In most games, what caused me to stay as long as I did was the friends and community. This game has that going for it too While I did take a break over the holidays, I was back in the game by February and have been enjoying my time spent here. As Freelancer said, this game has a lot of the elements I missed from my EQ days and it keeps drawing me back. I have the feeling I'm going to be here awhile :love:

I do remember there was one at one time, I was a part of it also. As someone else said though, I don't think it's around anymore. I'd love to be a part of this as well. Count me in! :love:
