Not a couple, but this is my character and her twin sister So a...pair?

Rowe has a prejudice towards Duskwight Elezen, subconsciously believing any of them she sees to be backwards, poor, and ignorant. She also has a tendency to disrespect Seeker females and Tia males, believing that they are weak. However, she does respect Nunh males quite a bit.

I believe that if you use a character from anything as inspiration it's fine. As long as you aren't straight up plagiarizing, I highly doubt anyone would notice unless you specifically pointed it out somehow. Actually, I'll bet if you used the magical girl thing on your original character, some people would find it endearing. I don't really believe there's an "anime" character taboo. I'd take you just as seriously if you rp'd Motoko Kusanagi as if you rp'd Eddard Stark. Which is to say, not seriously at all.

It wouldn't be complicating it when I am indeed a keeper and has elezen name, so it is legit fine if I am right. Well there ya go. Sorry I started reading this thread in class, and it took something like 4 hours to reply because of how busy I was IRL and when I finally typed it out I was way behind the discussion without realizing it ^^;;

You are over complicating it. If your character has amnesia, does the extreme specifics of a past that will never be known even matter? If you were really set on it, you could do a hyur from Amdapor and yeah, maybe some people who don't know the lore there wouldn't bat an eyelash. However lore nazis will always call you out on it for the rest of your days. I'd just play an Elezen or Keeper if you don't want that to happen.

It sounds like it could certainly be possible, but I don't know abou making them visible. It would be a good reason for an adversary to be motivated to lop off your limbs to disarm you. If you had some, I'd put it under your clothes where there's a less likely chance it could be seen, and not on a limb where it could be easily grappled and cut off, such as a hand or arm. I'd also save it as a trump card, maybe even use it while holding a book (any book) to make it appear you are better armed than you are.

This is an amazing idea. I would totally do this. I can't STAND atma grinding, RP during it would certainly make it bearable.

Fixed =) She's a business career woman IC and loves to cook. I'd love to give her something she could use in RP that isn't a minion. I bought her a spring dress earlier this year...I can't really think of anything in the gift department.

So it was my birthday on the 11th, and my characters IC girlfriend worked so hard and made me a plush cushion. It was an amazing gift and I was so thankful I feel bad because she could have sold it for 900k! I have less than a month until her birthday...what can I get her that can compete?!

Well I'd be interested in long term RP and I like your idea. However, I am already level 50 in every Dow/DoM (except for lancer, level 49) and I can only make one character per server. If you can accommodate a seasoned professional, I'd be willing to help out. There are things I'll get from fates/dungeons and still quests that I want to finish, and achievements to get! Hit up Yaaris Rowe in game.

This sounds like a bunch of fun if I do say so myself (and I did!) Although I've never done anything like it, I'll set up a character wiki to see if Rowe could fit the bill. I could do either a hired help or an antagonist, or even an antagonist that switches sides after an event : )

I think it's always nice to relate ones backstory with those of others. I'm sure we could work something out. I'll hit you up after I get home today : )

Your going about this all wrong. Of course you can be a Nunh on your own. Kind of like how Captain Jack Sparrow is a captain without a ship. He could be the leader of his own tribe, which consists of just himself. He could have had a falling out after a cheated victory with another male, he could have been ambushed and left for dead, or framed and imprisoned, only to escape by faking his death after having spent years in solitude in a cell? Learning from and old lalafell about the outside world and culture, and how to fight to gain his revenge. You could do anything with it. Use your head!

A couple of weeks ago I was in a dungeon with my FC and I went to tell one of them in a whisper, "brb need to use the porcelain throne." It ended up in FC chat. Not long after that I was doing some goofy RP with that same FC friend, and they were trying to kiss me and I was being tsundere. I made an excuse to allow them to make out, and that ended up in FC chat too T.T I said "kill me" in chat and logged out ASAP

Try and say that 5 times really fast. Uhmmm just trying to say something more interesting than the gorillian "hellos" in the "hello" forum I guess. I'm a new person to this game on Gilgamesh, I did some RP on wow here and there, and have religiously read warcraft sues for like...2 years I think. I find bad RP to be somewhat fascinating for some reason. In my case however, I RP for more than just the enjoyment of immersion. I also RP to gain "voice" for when I write characters in my own amateur writing hobby. I don't copy paste characters...but I try to speak using their personality in order to get closer to the character. I was looking for RP servers on this game and was pretty sad to see that they were no officially ordained servers, however I'm wondering that if having a structured community (such as this one) may actually prove to work better than flagging a server RP, and thus concentrate more serious people into smaller spaces and groups to be more uhmmm...dense I guess? Sorry, I'm kind of tired so I may think of a better way to word that later. I know what character I want to get closer too, however I don't have a solid idea of what that character is like yet, so I'm still an open book about it (literally). I know there's probably a gorillian people who play miqo'te, but after a long deliberation between that and a female rogaedyn (sp?), I found that I could cover more characters with a female miqo'te, so that's what I went with. Sorry I know this is kind of long uhmmm...I haven't been invited to any guilds yet, so I'm still trying to find one to invite my conjurer/healer into, but I'm still only level 24. So uhmmm yeah...thanks for reading. EDIT: Sorry, forgot to mention I live in Alaska, so I'm usually on pretty late. Hopefully I'll be able to find a few others in my situation.
